I discovered Five Star Nail Salon after Covid hit. I've been going ever since. The staff is super nice & the salon is always clean. Tommy is always making sure he acknowledges you when you walk in (that's super important to me) . I've gotten an array of services from eye brow wax to pedicures to acrylics. I've never had a problem with my nails. I'm not getting dip and I like it so much better. When you come , they always take their time no matter how packed the salon is and that's what keeps me coming back. It's nothing like having a pamper day when the pamper is left out because you're getting rushed. This doesn't happen here. Great service every time, and if there is a problem, Tommy will definitely fix it. He will even push your crying baby around the salon in the stroller or feed them so you can have that pamper time to yourself. It's my favorite place.

This is my go-to place. They do a good job and I enjoy their location and atmosphere. I get basic gel French manicure and pedicures but I see a lot of girls getting acrylics with some designs. The rare times I have complex design requests, I go with a specific person but generally everyone is good and friendly. My gel usually lasts 4-6 weeks without much issues

Since moving to the area from California, Five Star Nail Salon has become my go-to spot, and I'm really happy I found them. One of the biggest perks here is that there's never really a long wait, which is fantastic when you're looking for efficient service. The salon itself is pretty clean, which always makes for a more comfortable experience. Most of the technicians are quite skilled, but I have to give a special shout-out to Trinity! For DIP nails, especially for special occasions, Trinity is my absolute favorite. She truly takes her time, but is efficient while ensuring every detail is perfect, and the results are consistently amazing. If you're in search of a nail salon that offers quick, reliable service with generally good results, I'd definitely recommend giving Five Star Nails a try!

Linda literally ruined all other nail techs for me. Two years later, no one else is touching my nails again. I even moved far, far away and now I'm basically in a long-distance relationship with my nail tech. Zero regrets. Just barely-there pink on nails that could still slash tires. She's patient (saint-level, truly) and always lands the perfect pedi color, even when I'm no help at all. Bonus? Stories about Leo, her fluffy little criminal pup, constantly stealing food from his poor brother Tofu. Highly recommended by me. And Leo.

Love the atmosphere and expertise at Five Star Nails and Spa. Walk ins are acceptable but I always make an appointment for my gel nail manicure and polish pedicure. This allows me to request the same nail technician. This helps with consistency and understanding my usual expectations without repetition. Bringing a photo of nail art can be reproduced exactly. Even tho a 20 minute drive for me, it is worth the time, price, and amiable establishment rather than many nail places nearby that I have tried.

Look for Bryan he was kind and care for his client he didn't rush me but the owner seems he only care about speed cause many people are coming in . I wanted a certain red and my tech was kind enough to try to find the red but owner spoke in another language and just probably said to her to just stick to that color the thing is if your nice you don't get treated well they think it's weakness but Bryan and tech who did my pedi seems good people it's always the high rank who really just care about numbers. Thank you Bryan for taking the time to find the red I want and that made me special on my birthday. 5 star cause for Bryan and pedi tech

I've been coming here for YEARS and I love it. They do great work, are extremely good to their clients and if you ever have an issue like chipped nail, they take such great care of you! Tommy is the owner and he along with his family are just so great. You can see anybody and have good experience which is rare to find. It's not every place that prioritizes quality and their clients and I can tell you from years of experience that they truly do. I usually get my hands done all in Dip and gel pedicure. I was very nervous to try this place as I already have a nail place that I'm used to and frequent often. But my normal place was closed due to family emergency and I was desperate. I had broken a nail and had important work colleagues that were coming in to town and wanted to look my best. I loved how clean the space was and the large selection of colors. The woman who gave my pedicure was very friendly and patient with me as I had a hard time choosing my nail color. I ended up getting a new set of acrylics and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with my nails. I've gotten tons of compliments! Definitely worth a stop in! read more

I recently moved to the north valley so I was trying to find a new place close to home where I can get my pedicures. I found this place with good reviews but I had the worst experience. - The lady who did my pedicure just yanked out my ingrown nails. I had ingrown nails on my two big toes . My previous nail techs where I would go in Tempe were always gentle and it wouldn't hurt when they would take them out. When she pulled the first one out my toe started bleeding so she grabs my foot and pushes it in the water. Pretending like nothing happened. The second toe she did the same thing yanked it right off and it also started bleeding as well but that time she had the audacity to look at me all mad like if it were my fault that my toes were bleeding. It was so painful when she pulled them off. -She kept grabbing my feet aggressively that even water was splashing all over. -She never changed the towel under my feet. The entire time my feet were just on top of a super wet towel so my feet were getting all wrinkly. When my nail tech lady left to get a hot towel the nail tech sitting next to her asked me if I was okay because she witnesses my toes bleeding. That was sweet of that nail tech. I just wanted to relax and enjoy a good pedicure but I ended up leaving with two swollen toes . I will never come back to this place. I believe her name is Mindy, that name was listed on my receipt. read more

For one the girl spilled polish on my pants. I was frustrated and the girl kept filling my nails uneven so I decided not to get the gel or any polish. They changed me anyway without an apology for anything. Worst service! The quality of the service and the staff is poor. read more

They tried to overcharge me the past 2 times I went. They also won't let you make an appointment and say just walk in when you call, but then you have to wait ages to be seen. Shop always didn't look the cleanest but due to it's convenient location I still would go back. During my most recent visit, the owner tried to use a nail clipper on me that looked dirty and he had just pulled out of drawer. I asked for a clean one and he said it was new and clean, despite someone else's nail hanging off of it. Gross and unhygienic, I won't be going back anymore! read more

I was able to make an appointment for 2 people same day (on a Sunday) which I was impressed with! Giving a 4 not 5 because our appts were at 4:15pm and it took about 30mins to be called back and worked on. However- I'm obsessed with my nails! I posted a picture of my pink and white ombré 1 week after I got them done. I'm really rough with my nails so I'm surprised at how well they have held up. read more

Great nails but purposely acted like they didn't hear the amount I wanted to tip correctly and hurriedly overcharged my card by close to $17, just seems like a very dishonest, money hungry place and they didn't used to be like this before, I told them no and they still charged the card. I am not going back. Just be careful when being charged. I wish I would've spoken up more after they charged incorrectly and should've asked for cash in return for what they overcharged me. They just acted dumb and I walked out, very disappointed. read more

New in the neighbor and checked out 5 star today. Went in just to get my old manicure removed and a new clean manicure (I asked for no color polish/clear manicure) After the old dip was removed, I was asked to go wash my hands and when I came back the chair, and the tech was taking another client. She didn't even look at me as she handed the pay slip. I paid and left but unfortunately won't be back. Please photos below. read more

This is the best nail salon I've been to this far in the valley. Pretty much anyone you see there is great. My favorite person there is Khanie. She is fun to chat with while she's doing my nails but most importantly she really pays attention to detail. Because of my job I can't have the beautiful long nails I would love to have, but the way she shapes my nails like a short coffin shape is the best! If you want beautiful nails done ask for trinity!!! That's my girl and since I started going to her for my nails I refuse to go anywhere else and let anyone do them besides her. I moved an hour away and still drive for my girl to do my nails!! She truly is top tier, my nails last longer than a month and they never lift I get my fills before they even need them just for color change. She is so sweet and professional she makes sitting through getting your nails done fun and fast with the conversation she keeps going throughout the whole time. She always remembers me, welcomes me and does my nails exactly how I want them. She is the true definition of 5 star nails!! Thank you trinity for always making my nails look gorgeous!!! Well... I went there because I needed to get a pedicure and my go- to salon was full for the day and this one had good reviews. I was wrong. I have an ingrown toenail and I specifically asked the tech not to cut the sides deep, just the top corner because it grown in the flesh more if she did go deep. She actually went in and cut the side till the nail bed and pulled the flesh so hard that I started to bleed !!! I told the manager and he didn't care. When I went in at 2pm I asked for a pedicure and a dip manicure. I left at 3.40pm with only the pedicure and they didn't even have soaked off my hand nails yet!!! My toe is really hurting till now 3 hours after. Never again Never read more

I don't need to say much the pictures speak for themselves but I sent my teenage daughter and her friend to get their nails done and when she came home I had to she her back. They definitely take advantage of kids because they would never let any adult walk out with nails like that.. when I took her back they had us sit with the same lady that did them in the first place and she didn't debulk them at all and when the manager came over he tried justifying that because she got a fill that it's normal for them to be thick.. anyone that has been getting acrylics for over 10yrs knows that's crap. I have been getting the pink and white acrylics and they seriously last me a month in between vists. My last nail place I had to go every two weeks for them breaking & chipping. Poor customer service. Went in for the first time for a gel polish removal and manicure. Owner flippantly directed me to sign in but didn't tell me it was electronic on a kiosk. Directed me to pick out polish but didn't tell me where or that I needed to walk through the salon to the back of the room. After picking out my polish he vaguely pointed in the general direction of a waiting table and when I failed to identify which table, and after walking up to two other chairs, he condescendingly told me that I had finally identified the right one...in front of the entire salon. I stayed when I should've left and received an average, at best, manicure. Not worth it and won't be returning. read more

My son arranged this for a mani pedi for Mother's Day. For the pedicure it took over an hour. The gel polish job is terrible. And no massage at all during the pedicure. It took her over 30 minutes just to get the gel polish off my nails. They don't use acitone. She kept scraping and scraping at my nails. I had Crome put on and it's been maybe 3 days and it's wearing off. She never used a buffing file just the hard file that tears up the nails. Now I have to wait for a few weeks for my nails to recover before going for a new mani/pedi. I'll stick to the Polishroom I'd rather have pretty toes and nails than a cocktail!

I went last week and had the worst experience. The man that did my pedicure acted like I was such a bother and inconvenience to him. The pedicure itself was very quick and extremely basic. I felt like I was being rushed out. The customer he helped after me asked him something (I didn't hear) and he audibly signed and rolled his eyes. The pedicure was listed at $29 however I was charged $30. Not too much of a big deal but either change the menu, provide an itemized receipt showing the extra $1 is taxes or somehow inform the customer of the price change. After I paid with a debit card I asked for a stamp on the loyalty card that I had picked up from the stack on the counter. I was told that you only get a loyalty stamp if you pay in cash. Nowhere on the card, desk, menu, etc does it say that. I honestly felt like my business was not needed at Capri so after 4 years I will surely be finding a salon that appreciates all of their customers.

They were horrible they gave to a girl. I just needed a fill and i get fills pretty often so i know how they should look. She gets done and i got home and my mom looked at my nails and there were probably thicker than a penny for $40 i payed. So i go back and tell them they need to file it down. The managers 13 year old kid was running it all and we told him that we need it filed down and he gave us back to the girl that did this horrible job so she's just filing under and she says okay your done now. They are still a bubble on the top of it she just filed under and not on top and repainted like any other nail tech would to make it less think. So we get the manager and he's justifying her work saying it's because it's a fill and because there's gel on top. I asked for just acrylic with no gel and they said " we don't do that" so we left after they said they couldn't do any more. read more

They do amazing!!!! Tommy has done my nails the past couple times and he does them exactly how I like them. The nails last a long time before I have to go in for a fill and have never broke!
