I moved to AZ from NYC about 5 months ago and have tried about 8 different salons. Each was worse than the next. I called to see if there were any appointments for a pedicure. I was told by the woman; who answered the phone, they could take me right away. I was greeted by staff as soon as I walked in the door. I was given nail color books to look through. They have a wide selection of matte, muted shades, and some extremely bright ones and neons too! I chose a deep red color. I tried many different technicians and finally gave up. The customer service is lacking, and the quality of the services are subpar at best.

The bare minimum does not cut it anymore. I like big energy, big actions, big everything. Explains why I am a nail snob. I also think nail technicians are some of the most creative souls out there. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to nail salons. Under new management, Champere is hands down hitting my top 5 favorites. I don't mean just in the valley but overall list. Caleb, one of the owners, was helping out and my technician. He is a doll and could chat with him for longer but he's too quick. Walked in without appointment, walked out under two hours for my dip and gel pedicure. Impressive and thoughtful of my time. My SNS nails weren't done too thick and he shaped them beautifully as I love the ballet slipper over almond shape. I wanted my look to be simple a bit understated for the summer. He has a great eye for color as well. I also had decided to add some sparkle which Caleb kindly advised me they do not guarantee the rhinestone staying on. Whoever thought there is such an expectation?!?! However, they do guarantee all their nail work. If you get a chip, come back for a refresh. No questions. No hassles. THAT is impressive. I've been going to Champere Nail Bar for a little over a year now. They hold their appointments, are consistent with their quality and the dip nails last about 2.5-3 weeks for me. I get pedicures less often, but they do a great job with those as well. Before my first visit to Champere I had tried plenty of other salons in the area, but none have matched up to the quality and consistency which is why this is the only one I go to now. read more

I have been to An at Champere Nail Bar three times now and he is AMAZING! I cannot go anywhere else from now on. The place is very nice and they have many skilled nail techs there as well. I have been getting my nails done on and off for many years and I can honestly say he has done the best job out of anyone I've ever been to. He is so skilled and makes sure your nails are absolutely perfect every time. If you show him a design or style you can trust that he will make it even better than the picture. I have never had a nail break or had lifting since I've been coming to him for fills and that is rare, nearly impossible for me, as I am rough with my nails at work. An is truly wonderful and I highly recommend him and Champere Nail Bar. 10/10 He did an air brush ombré French tip for me and this girly ghost design last time. I got my nails done for the 1st time cause one of my friends nails set was pretty. But when one of the girls there saw i had short nails she made it very obvious she was unhappy. I could tell she was frustrated and walked away like 3 times. Again as my 1st time i legit thought itd be different. Nicer...she mentioned a certian method. I did tell her I trusted what she said since shes the nails technician. The a friday had the appointment. And I had a wedding 2 days after, a Sunday. Not even a full week and my nails falling or loose. I went back got 1 fixed and one replaced yesterday, a Wednesday. Today Thursday, I shower and another nail is falling. My husband said "really?!..." since he drove me both times. And we do not live close. Again because i liked my friends nails is that i went. Just sucks for my service to not even last a full week. Tomorrow is a full week of having them loose nails. But I can say the guy whom attended me to fix my nails was nice and did well to me. The work was pretty. Overall reaaaaly pretty nails, I was just bummed out they didnt hold up. (I dont go often to get my nails done, again bc of having short nails, so I did expect a nice clean up of cuticles etc but that also was not done) Again nails are pretty! Legit loved their art. I still plan to go back in the future and try again. I dont want to definitely give up on them after seeing how professional they maintained themselves. And how nice the 2nd visit was too. read more

Came to this nail salon last minute on a Sunday afternoon - it's tucked away in a shopping plaza with ample parking. The salon itself is quite big with friendly staff. I was able to get a hard gel manicure with the liquid gel. They offer a service where if your nails get damaged / messed up within a week, they'll fix it for free! Such a great service especially if you're paying for a nail service that should last at least 2-3 weeks. I was happy with my nails but will be asking if they do a hard gel manicure with a resin like I had done in LA. read more

I cannot stop recommending this salon to friends. My gel nails last 3-4 weeks (aside from natural grow out) and they always look amazing!
