I had a disappointing experience here. I had a 4:00 PM appointment on 6/28/26 but was not started until about 4:45, with no real update during the wait. The bigger issue was the service itself. The towel under my hands had visible residue from a previous client and had to be replaced after I pointed it out. The cuticle work was painful enough that I had to say something. The finished manicure also had lint trapped under the top coat, leaving one nail visibly flawed and rough. When I contacted the salon afterward, the only solution repeatedly offered was to rebuff the nail, which did not address my concerns about cleanliness, technique, and overall quality. read more

Extremely upsetting experience. During a routine acrylic nail removal, my daughter's natural nail was injured to the point of bleeding and visible damage. Acrylic removal should never become traumatic or unsafe. I'm sharing this simply to warn others to speak up if something feels painful and stop the service immediately if there is discomfort. Also under new management and they're very polite (short haired mean girl from all the reviews is gone!!)! I can't recommend the male for a pedicure, I tried him twice and it was horrible, he got gel off all over my skin one time, and the other time it was so bad l I went and got a pedicure somewhere else the next day. I was visiting Phoenix and was overdue for a builder/hard gel fill manicure and a pedicure. I looked at several options near where we were staying and chose to come here. They were able to fit me in within an hour of my request which was perfect. The place is beautiful and clean. Prices are similar to what I pay in San Diego. I had two technicians doing the manicure and pedicure at the same time. That was nice because it takes less time. When I am at home with more time available I prefer to have them done separately at the same appointment so that I can be more relaxed. This was fine though. I love this new to me technique of builder gel. I had it done in September in Portland for the first time. It is nice to just get it filled rather than a full removal with acetone. I like it much better than dip also because they are not as thick and look so much more natural. They don't lift or peel and I can go 4 to six weeks with them still looking decent. Just a lot of grow out but the actual nails and polish look great the whole time. Ella did my manicure. She did a fabulous job. Christine did my pedicure and it was wonderful too. I would recommend this place and will come back if need be when I am in Phoenix. read more

We love this salon! We have been trying to find a regular place that meets the needs of the 4 of us. They are always on time and very accommodating when scheduling Every time we come in, we are greeted with smiles and funny people. We laugh through our whole service. Their pedicures are amazing and everyone gives amazing massages. They have a wide variety of colors for dip, gel and regular. The dip lasts a very long time. Cute salon with great nail techs, but the woman that sits at the front desk is ALWAYS rude and I'm not being dramatic. She never smiles, never talks nicely and always blames you for anything. If the owners want this place this last they need to replace her. Also, some of their DIP colors are old and need to be replaced. My dip shouldn't be chipping 4 days after getting them done especially when I am very careful and wear gloves when I clean and work at a desk (the front lady will tell you it's from typing btw). I pay extra for dip over gel because it's not supposed to chip!! I'm begging the owners to please change management. My mom came to this location to get her dip manicure soaked off and reapplied. During her service the worker abruptly got up and told her she has to go get lunch, and that my mom needed to look at her nails, see when they look soaked off then move her hand to the other bag and tie it herself. At the same time, another worker said "do you not understand her? You need to do it yourself". This is horribly unprofessional, we are paying for your services. If you needed to eat lunch do it before or after taking a client or don't take one at all! The front desk lady (that had been there for years!!!) is the rudest, nastiest, least friendly person EVER - and in a customer facing role? This was my first time here. I made an appointment day of on Friday and they were really quick with seating me when I got there. I got a full set and the nail tech was great about asking me what shape I wanted and making sure I liked it before she moved forward. The salon is really clean, smells good, and plays great music. Im so upset & disappointed with my first experience here at Grand Nails Lounge. The sales pitching made me feel like i was buying a car. First, I was told that i would be getting charged extra because the nails THEY put on were too LONG when I asked twice to have them cut down because I didn't like how long they were. I specified I needed to have them short enough to undo my kids car seats. After she kept trimming barely taking anything off she said they'd shorten when she files them. Clearly they didn't with how long these are. Then, I specified I wanted normal gel for my nails. However, the nail tech kept insisting that I get this other type of polish, after I continued to decline she kept asking if I wanted a design and I said no and after the 3rd time asking I told her she could do a small one NOT informing that it was $15 more until I was paying at the end. Its not my first time at a nail salon so I understand that some things can cost more, especially designs however; I think its unfair as a consumer to not be informed of what that price is until the job has already been done. As well as If you look at the design she picked to do on my nail, it looks like a giant purple glob. When I questioned the pricing to the manager, her excuse was that the nails tech who did my nails just got surgery recently and forgot to mention the pricing on the design. They overcharged this entire experience and the nails are too long, and not even cute the design literally looks like a vagina. After I went back inside to find out why I was charged so much she broke down the details saying $5 was added for the long length ( that I didn't want) $15 for a design (she didn't disclose or even do a decent design) my pedicure they added $20 to for gel (usually at other salons it's $5-$10). Overall going in for a $55 full set and a pedicure I chose to get a more expensive one to treat myself for Mother's Day for $58 turned into $78 and i ended up leaving with a $173 trip not including the tips I left them of $25. I would have no problem paying for a good quality service and specialty nails but even when I've gotten designs on every fingers I've never paid that much. Even asking other nail artists at other salons they all said they wouldn't charge over $55 for these nails and wouldn't let me leave the salon with this design. I would give them one star but the pedicure was good besides the $20 up charge. read more

We were positioned as close as the layout would allow - but, she was behind me which made it difficult to visit. I had an absolutely horrific experience at Grand Nails Salon. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The staff laughed at me making fun of my nails to my face and then in their own language making it even more uncomfortable, which was not only unprofessional but downright cruel. I was mortified and felt like a complete joke. When I finally mustered the courage to ask them to stop after just one step, they completely disregarded my feelings and insisted I pay for a service I didn't even receive. To top it off, they accused me of lying about my experience! I was treated like I was the problem, when in reality, it was their complete lack of respect and customer service. I left in tears, feeling humiliated and frustrated. When I got home my mom ended up phoning and brought up the fact that they were making fun of me in both English and in their own language, then the race card was pulled and the lady on the phone was calling my mom a racist for even saying that, and hung up on her. This place has no idea how to treat customers with dignity. If you value your self-esteem and want a pleasant experience, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this nail salon!
