Kyrie was amazing today. Having done a few prior sugarings, this time was much less painful, sugar not too warm, and overall just an absolute pleasure for having hair ripped out. Took her time. Frequently checked in. Just fantastic all around and my go-to onward. Danielle was in the office well and a delight to talk to and incredibly friendly. Glendale gang! read more

I don't write negative reviews, and I wasn't going to -- but after reaching out to request a refund, being refused, asking them to reconsider and explaining my situation further, and then receiving no response, I feel I should share my experience. My appointment started nearly 20 minutes late. When we went in for the body polish the table was dirty and had to be reset, and the service wasn't explained beforehand, which was uncomfortable going in blind as a first-time client. She also had me touch the tan on my body during the service, which you should never do, and it left spray tan all over my palms. I did not have my palms or nails wiped off at the end either. When I brought it her attention upon leaving (as well as other white spots all over my hands) she sprayed more, which I think ended up making it worse. She tried wiping off my palms at that point, but they were already stained. I paid over $80 total -- which is higher than other studios in Scottsdale, and I have never had a bad experience anywhere else. I still left orange and splotchy with the polish and primer add-ons -- photos attached. The girl who did my tan was nice, but maybe less experienced and appeared to be managing the whole studio on her own. When I reached out, the response was "sorry that you were unhappy with your service" -- but this wasn't about being unhappy, it was a service that wasn't done correctly. It feels like I'm being treated like I did something wrong. I was told I needed to come back in for them to review what happened, which would have required me to leave work early, and that since I hadn't done that I wasn't eligible for a refund. They did offer a free tan as a "gesture of goodwill", but I don't have confidence anything would be different next time. When a tan is orange and patchy, the only solution is to remove it and redo once the old tan is gone -- not go back for more. I'll be trying somewhere else. I ended up having to buy tan remover, a remover mitt and went in the pool several times to try to remove the solution and it's still stuck on there over a week later. I wanted to love this place as it's close to home. I hope they use this feedback to improve the new client experience. If someone turns down a free service, that might be worth reflecting on. read more

They're charging me 250$ a month for tans. The manager was trying to save me money making it seem like a good thing without letting me know it's a six month contact. Then they said oh yeah well we can change it to a lower charge and now they're charging me double for both services. It completely contradicted everything. I love 30 minutes away and I have kids . Please be careful going to this place before they get you to sign up to anything. read more

So, I got my very first spray tan here! The place is really cute, the gal who attended me "Nikki" was super sweet & accommodating to my first visit. The only problem is the actual product. I followed the post instructions of rinsing with no soap & lukewarm water. My feet were still kinda orange, the smell gave me a headache and it only lasted me about 3-4 days, not one week. I'll definitely never do that again. But maybe it's my skin's reaction, not sure? read more

I came for a classic spray tan with body polish. Service was excellent by Makenna. Facilities were nice and clean. It's been 9 days and I still have a great tan. I'll be going back! read more

I've been going to Sugar Sugar for about a year now. I regularly get brow clean up and tint. My brows look so much fuller and frame my face better than they have in years. I appreciate all of the tips for the staff on brow care. This team rocks. The new space is fantastic. read more

I'm being charged monthly for services that are not being rendered and no one is getting back with me to resolve the problem!

She got eyebrow tint in my freshly bleached hair now I have this dark spot of dye on the front of my blonde hair. This was my first time ever going to get an eyebrow tint and I am petrified that this happened. I hid in the room and cried. I walked out she said are you okay I said no you got it in my freshly bleached hair. Do you have my card on file? Run that. And I walked out crying saying I will never do anything like this again. read more

Wow, this place is incredible! From the moment you enter they have the cutest decor! I had the most amazing experience with Starr. She totally lives up to her name! As a newbie sugarer, I was nervous. She was very informative & made sure i was completely comfortable. I'd highly recommend you check them out! My results were next level great! Thank you so much Starr! read more

Usually love getting a Brazilian here but this one didn't even last 4 days.... Idk how that's even possible. I know the girl who did mine struggled and didn't seem to know what she was doing like the other techs I've gone to but what a waste of money! Can't recommend anymore :( should last AT LEAST a week which also is absurd. read more

I have been coming to this place for almost 2 years now. All the ladies are AMAZING. You cannot go wrong with whoever you get they are all trained professionally. The space was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. The staff made me feel at ease and explained everything before starting. The treatment was quick, way less painful than waxing, and left my skin super smooth. I'll definitely keep coming back and recommending it to friends! read more

I absolutely love my organic spray tan. It's always perfect thanks to one girl nikki ! If you go there, you have to ask for her. It's never too dark never too late. Never streaky absolute perfect. Plus she's super super sweet and always professional! Can't recommend this place enough. read more

Bought my wife some treatments and it's 50-50 that the spray tan worked. One more try or moving on. One great tan and one looks like she was sprayed with water. read more

Thank you Isa for the wonderful, fast and soft feeling tan Friday! Having you brush just a dab of sparkle dust on my glowing skin sealed the deal for me!! I absolutely love this place! It's been years since I've done a spray tan and have been wanting to get one done. My clinician was Kelly, and she is absolutely amazing! I'm used to the whole old school booth spray tan and always hoping for the best outcome (which is rare). I haven't ever had someone spray me before. This is definitely the way to go. My tan looks amazing! I look bronze and not fake. Kelly was great at getting me so even and getting every single area. She explained the aftercare so well. I didn't feel rushed, and now I have an amazing tan like I just came from the beach. The clinic is super cute and has an adorable waiting area. It's very clean, which is something I'm always looking at. I'd give more stars if I could! Definitely recommend! read more

I love getting the sugared and the lasting results without worries of issues. I recently tried the diamond and chocolate microdermabrasion facial thanks to the recommendation from Olivia, amazing. It felt so good and so relaxing. I am happy she told me about it because I will definitely do again. Olivia your are the BEST!!!! See you soon. read more

I called up this am to get an appt. They asked what tan I wanted and I replied ....the same as I always get.. When I arrive, they take me back and start spraying and when I finish to pay, I'm charged almost 20.00 more than I'm used to. The girl said she was sorry and didn't even offer to charge me what I'm used to paying, and said she would put in file the tan I usually do for the next time. I'm not sure there will be a next time. I don't understand the customer service these days, if you're going to switch my service, then ask me first and tell me it's a different price so I can make the decision I guess when you say...THE SAME AS I ALWAYS GET......they can just give you what they decide! I'm not happy Kimee read more

This was my first time at Sugar Sugar and Amber was my esthetician. She not only did a fantastic job being a perfectionist, but she also made me feel comfortable and was knowledgeable on the vegan and cruelty free products. I purchased the toner and love it! I've booked my next sugaring appointment with her and plan to get a facial done as well! 100% recommend Amber for your services! read more

I'm not the one to Ever complain but I spent $50 on a spray tan today and beyond disappointed.. I'd expect darker than this and it's soo splotchy. Those aren't freckles.. speckles from my spray tan Got a weird, creepy message from them on SM a few years back but thought I'd give them a chance since they are the closest spray tan place to me and maybe their social Media person has no experience But even their rooms are set up where if you get a spray tan naked and someone walks by the room with the door open there's just no privacy. + places I usually go to have feet pads... not a dirty towel to step on so my feet now look dirty. Maybe they're waxes are good.. but Def. Not coming back read more

I loved everything about my visit here. In the past, I've done waxing. Sugaring was a better experience! It was less painful and better for my skin. I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of this location. Kamryn did a wonderful job with my service! She was kind, did a fantastic job, and answered all of my questions. I will be back to see her. I highly recommend trying sugaring! read more

Had been getting waxed elsewhere for a couple of years, but they recently closed. It never hurt at all. I tried sugar sugar and "ouch". Really hurt and is still stinging hours later. The hair was not even taken off completely. The staff are lovely The girl was sweet, but made an unintentional insult at the start, so I already felt weird and uncomfortable. I wanted to love it, but I'm off to find somewhere else. I actually just removed a star because it's been a week and it's grown back in places. It was also more expensive than my other place. Just called the other place and thank goodness they are reopening . read more

Yes I'm a MAN I have been waxing for years with hot wax. I came here and they educated me about the sugar waxing. In the past I break out with some hot waxing. So I really wanted to see how this would be different. Kamryn is extremely professional and made me very comfortable. This certainly was much different than hot waxing and looks cleaner then in the past . And thankfully I did not break out. Thank you so much I will return . read more

I drive TWO HOURS for my appointments at Sugar Sugar (my local person moved away, military spouse ;'( ) so that should tell you what I think of their services. I started getting sugared about 3 years ago and I can't go back to waxing. The staff here are super friendly and never make me feel bad when I'm talking them to death. lol They're great about having availability and, so far, each tech I've encountered has been friendly, professional, and skilled. read more

Amber is my sugaring queen. She's a funny, rad, sweet little badass who is keen to get you as smooth as you desire. She's quick and super thorough and I honestly can't recommend her enough. I know I've talked a bit about sugaring in my previous review, but here's a refresher: Sugaring is similar to waxing, but much less painful. Plus it doesn't irritate skin as much thanks to the sugar only adhering to the hair, unlike waxing which also grabs on to your skin. You can walk out of your eyebrow sugaring and it won't be near as red and obvious the way waxing is. Love love love love love them. read more

I have been coming here for years. Aimee runs a top notch business and Tarah is an amazing esthetician! I hadn't been in a few months due to the mandatory covid shut down. Aimee was able to get me in quickly after their reopening. My appointment was yesterday. Prior to my appointment I received an appointment confirmation text as always. But this time, they added a covid questionnaire to make sure I was not 'at risk' for carrying the virus. I was also informed that I needed to wear a mask and to call upon arrival rather than come into the lobby. I arrived a few minutes early and within just a few minutes I received a call back to enter the shop. I was greeted by the same happy staff as always and was asked to please use hand sanitizer which was provided on the counter. My appointment with my Tarah was great, as usual. Before leaving, I quickly scheduled my next appointment and used their hand sanitizer again. Well done Sugar Sugar! Thank you for looking out for the health of your staff and your clients! It was great seeing you all yesterday despite your smiles being hidden by your masks. See you ladies soon! read more

First impression....WOW! I have been getting sugared for about 5 years now and just recently moved to Scottsdale. It was a struggle to find a true "sugaring only" studio and I am SO glad I found sugar sugar. It is a STUNNING space and the staff is so sweet (no pun intended). I booked with Tarah for a Brazilian and she was an absolute pro! This was honestly the most painless Brazilian I've ever had. 12/10 would recommend!!! read more

Had a great first time experience with getting a sugar Brazilian by Amber, I will definitely be coming back regularly!

I have been to Sugar Sugar twice for organic spray tans. I LOVE this place. From when you first walk in you will instantly be welcomed with an amazing scent and a friendly hello. The spray tans here won't leave you smelling like a weird chemical. They smell awesome and give your skin the right amount of tan without looking orange. Also I never seem to get any staining on my feet that looks funky. I haven't yet taken advantage of their other services but plan to soon! read more
