I have been a loyal client for years for a reason, the services here are unmatched! Nurse Larissa did my lip flip and omg I'm obsessed! I was someone who thought the pain wasn't worth getting, or I would look unnatural. Nurse Larissa explained everything so clearly and made sure I was comfortable. She exceeded my expectations! Marley is my go to for lashes always amazing and consistent , and Taylor microbladed my eyebrows I went from thin brows to full and beautiful, these ladies are amazing at what they do and I won't go anywhere else! read more

If it wasn't for Marley this place would have 0 stars from me. Marley is my fav and I've been with her for years. I'm probably the oldest client here as I've been coming since before any of the current staff started working here and they were in the old location across the street. In the last several years this place has went downhill! In the last year it has got even worse. The turn over never stops! We are in N Scottsdale and the girls at the front desk look like they are from a punk rock concert. On top of their unprofessional behavior they have no idea what they are doing. Vi was amazing at spray tans and she was let go! Like I said if it weren't for Marley I would be out of here and I would love for Marley to go elsewhere as this place doesn't deserve my money! My appointments have been so messed up which has made me schedule them myself online. Today I try to book and here they now have a new name. Seriously could this place be any more inconsistent. These owners couldn't be more clueless and since they don't live here they really are just that, clueless! I am hoping Marley goes elsewhere so I can go to a professional salon with professional staff and a consistent atmosphere. I have no idea what is going on here and unless you are seeing Marley, AVOID this place at all cost! It's funny reading the previous reviews as well as none of those previous "managers" are with Stellar or whatever you want to call it. The turnover is ridiculous! Poor management and even worse ownership. read more

Alexandra did my lashes today 10/10 would recommend they are so cute and wispy this was my first time ever getting lashes done and I'm so happy and obsessed already , she did them just how I like my false lashes to be. I'm glad I got them done by Alexandra. I have a pictures with a filter and one without so you can see I don't need a filter anymore for my lashes read more

I just left the salon and I got my eyebrows laminated with tint. My eyebrows look so uneven. I went want back so she can fix them and they still look uneven there was tint running down my eyebrow and around my eyebrow it looks very messy. I'm really disappointed since I drove 30min to this place just to have a messy job done. I tried contacting someone in charge but have not had a call back. read more

WOW.... This is a new one. This business advertises and sells Groupons but when you show up and after you receive your service they tell you that they don't honor it and you must pay full price, which is 73% more than the cost of the Groupon. Super Ethical. Also, as if that bait and switch wasn't enough... if you show up only 4 minutes late after driving however long to get there, they tell you they have a strict policy for lateness and that you must reschedule for an appointment two weeks later, and hopefully you'll make it on time in the future; really kind, understanding people here. Oh, and they also suck at what they do, so there's no reason to give these people money. Head to your local beauty school for a higher level of service and competence. Update: Now the owner is trying to lie on this public review, screenshot below directly contradicts her statement below of "strict Groupon policy allows for a first time client only, as well as strict late policy for appointments". Maybe that's your policy in your own mind, but perhaps it may be wise to share it with your prospective customers publicly in your Groupon policy printed online. Transparency is good for everyone. read more

Love this place! I am super picky about who I use and what I want done. I use Marley for my lashes, she is quick, so funny, and helps find the perfect style/lengths for your desired look! I used Taylor for my lip blushing and she absolutely crushed it! My lips are so plump and pink just like I wanted. Lip blushing can be uncomfortable but she was so great in communicating and helping through the whole process!! Absolutely recommend all the girls at this studio! read more

Came here for lip filler and Botox with Lindsay and absolutely loved the results, she killed it! I will definitely be returning, she made me feel comfortable the whole time and was very educated in her skills with answering any questions I had as well. Not to mention the place is super cute! Thanks Lindsay! :) read more

I recently got lip blush done by Taylor and she was amazing! She helped me pick out the perfect color, and made sure the outcome was exactly what I wanted. She takes her time on outlining so everything is crisp and perfect. It was very nice that she made sure my pain was under control, and numbed my lips when I requested. I love how my lips turned out, they have such a pretty pink color to them now read more

Kyra is so good at what she does that it seems effortless; she's all about the details and applying lashes the right way. FYI I'm Asian and my lashes are not the easiest to work with. I mentioned at my first appointment with Kyra that I didn't like the symmetrical look and prefer more of a mismatched long and short mixture; she did my lashes EXACTLY how I wanted and put a Full Set on in just over an hour. My extensions also stay on and look great/get complements even 3-4 weeks after (without a fill) - Another thing I love is that when I do get my fills, she doesn't cut my real lashes and allows them to grow out on their own/shed naturally. Kyra is so efficient, my Fills take about 30 minutes. I've gotten my lashes done by multiple people in the past and didn't think much of how they were applying my lashes, the glue they used and the fact that my real lashes were falling out (I just thought it was normal) also, a Full Set would take over 2 hours and a Fill would take an hour. I know if I ever take off my lash extensions my real lashes with be healthy and strong. I understand that everyone's lashes are different but this is my experience and the people I've sent to Kyra absolutely love their lashes as well! It's a major plus that she is so friendly, personable, flexible with scheduling and communicates well! read more

Super cute and friendly receptionist. 5 stars for her. I told them that only want to do classic lashes. As I asked for classic because volume really looks ridiculous. Ok. I didn't feel listened to. She didn't do the classic. She did volume. And the person doing my lashes was constantly on the phone talking about herself and her love life. I would be embarrassed to have her as an employee. I find this business to be extremely poorly run. Just look at all these reviews. Also, rooms were extremely dirty. There are so many lash places, this is not the one to go to. Big time fail! Also there injectors have little to no experience. Do not get any injections there. Huge disappointment read more

They have an AD saying that its $3 per unit for Dysport. I go in, Lindsay says "its gonna be 60 units total".. cool. I do the math, 60 times $3 is $180. Get to the counter to pay, she charges me $180. THEN Lindsay comes back and says, "oh i wrote it down wrong, its 180".. so the girl at the fron tells me its equal to Botox or something and charges me ANOTHER $360. No where in fine print does it say anything about them charging me the same price as Botox if thats not what i got. And how they got that number when she gave me 60 units of Dysport is a mystery to me. No one explained shit to me. I woulda never went there if i knew that. read more

I recently went in for a spray tan, and it was the worst spray tan I have ever received. After the application, I felt sticky until I showered. The guide color was so orange and left dots all over my skin. There was no way I could go out in public before showering. After 6 hours, I was starting to worry about how well it would even wash off because the guide color was so bad, so I showered and many of the dots did not wash off. It took about a week for the dots to fade and continued to be very splotchy. Stay away! read more

Love Mai- her retention is amazing, normally mine look pretty sparse and need touching up before week 2 with other places; I'm on week 3 due to my chaotic work schedule before the holidays and I'm STILL getting compliments on my lashes. I could probably go another week if I needed, but since rescheduling was so convenient (all online) I was able to get an appointment before we leave out of town to make sure they're full. She is fast, had my full set done within an hour and did an awesome job... so for those that can't sit still for long.... she is your girl. My lashes are still in good health, i have yet to lose my natural lashes with the extension attached (although i know it's to be expected from shedding). Never kept up with lashes this long but I will for sure be a long time client if Mai is around. It makes getting ready so much easier! So glad I found this place! Kendall read more

After seeing great reviews online (which they must have given customer discounts to bribe for good reviews)- I decided to make an appointment for an airbrush tan. Talk about the Wal Mart of salons. They are more focused on an assembly line rather than customer service. No customization, in and out appointments and no time to even listen to what you want. I was running 3 min late after waiting for the babysitter to arrive to watch my 1 year old. I walked in 5 min after my appt time and was told that my appointment had been canceled as a no show. The lady working the front went to the back to get someone else and by the time they made it back up front and went through their policy then it was 7 min after the hour. I hope they never make a client wait 5 min to see someone because their policy will cancel your appt if you walk in 5 min late- not to mention they probably have the tan mixed up before you arrive bc they won't have time to mix it and give you a tan before their next client arrives! They lost my business for any of their services after I witnessed how this salon is run read more

My lashes were twisted, sparse and I now have gaps where there were no gaps before going to down. When I called to cancel my next appointment that was made - they didn't even have me on the books. So horribly disappointed. read more

I tried this place out a couple of times due to the Groupon offer. I have come to the concluding they do the exact same eyelashes every time. Both times I asked for Classic and said I wanted a very natural look, just so I don't have to wear mascara. I don't want showy or overly full lashes. Both times, despite my requests, they gave me volume lashes that didn't look natural at all abs felt very heavy. That was with two different technicians. They were very nice but clearly not willing to customize to what you want. read more

I bought a Groupon for this lash extension place after seeing so many positive reviews on Yelp. When I went in for my appointment on Tuesday, September 22nd, I told my artist Marley that I wanted something between classic lashes and a light hybrid. I showed her the photo from Pinterest attached to this review, and told her I liked 1 and 2 and would be happy with either. She assured me she could do a lighter hybrid, and away we went. Marley was very sweet and personable, and we had a great conversation the entire time she did my lashes. When we were finished (after right about 70 minutes), she gave me a mirror to show me my lashes, and much to my surprise they were significantly fuller than I was expecting. She must have sensed my surprise, because she asked what I thought. I wasn't overly thrilled with them because they were so full, but I needed to get to work so I told her I liked them, tipped, and went on my merry way. I followed directions and did not get these extensions wet for over 48 hours. When I did washed them, I used foaming cleanser and used a fluffy eyeshadow brush so as not to damage them. I began losing lashes on Wednesday, but it was helping them look more natural, so I wasn't worried. Except that by Friday, I had lost quite a few extensions and fans - ONLY from my right eye. By Saturday morning (the day of my birthday celebrations), I had a full bald-looking spot in my right eye. Thankfully I had saved a few fans, and used falsie lash glue to put some back to try to even it out. By Monday I had lost even more (still exclusively from my right eye), so I called Stellar Lash to have them removed. The receptionist told me that because it had been less than a week, I could have them fixed or removed. I opted for removal, as I was (and am) so frustrated by the experience. I went in yesterday for my removal appointment and an incredibly kind woman removed the lashes for me - or rather, tried. We went through 4 applications of the glue removed and I still have eyelashes stuck to my left eye. The removal process should have taken 30-45 minutes (according to the receptionist when I called), and it took over an hour and 15 minutes for me and there are still extensions present. The woman who removed my lashes (seriously - such a sweet woman) was afraid to damage my real lashes, so she sent me on my way. On my way out, she asked the receptionist not to charge me for the removal because she couldn't get all the lashes off. Here's where I get extra frustrated, because a cost was never mentioned to me when I made the removal appointment and the lashes were only on for a week. In my opinion, it would have been absolutely wrong to charge me for a removal when I wouldn't have needed it if my original lash artist had done a good job and followed my request. Attached to this review are a photo of what I asked for, what I got, what my lashes looked like after only 3 days, and what I was left with after the removal (removal was last night and the photo was taken first thing this morning.) read more

When I got there (I was 5 minutes late and called them to tell them i'd be 5 mins late), there were two older teen girls chatting in the lobby chairs. One of them stood up when I arrived to check me in and and haughtily points me to the stack of clipboards on the front desk that needed to be filled out. She sits back down on the lobby chair to continue chatting with her friend, leaving me nowhere to sit except the empty chair behind the front desk meant for the receptionist. (Sorry for interrupting your socializing, girls!) So I just fill out the four pages of paperwork while standing. Dasia, the lash tech (?), came out shortly as I was finishing the paperwork and escorted me back to the room. As we're walking, she asks me if this is my first time ever getting lashes and I say yes. She asks if I want classic or volume. Uh...first timer here, i remind her...what's the difference i ask. She replies with stating the volume lashes actually take less time to put on (gee, I'm feeling like i'm being lead toward the faster option, so you can be done with work). I explain that i'm looking for volume, not drama or length. We get in the room, she looks at my lashes, and she says she'll figure it out. During the appt, one of the teens walks in, Dasia tells her the appt will only take 45 minutes and not 2 hours as estimated. Teen giggles and says ok and that she has to pee. Wow. Um ok. The lash tech has difficulty getting the lower lash gel pads to stay in place and ends up using medical tape. She proceeds to apply the lashes but does not tell me anything abt what she is doing, or what to expect. This is a bit unnerving for a first time experience. When she finishes, she peels the medical tape from my first under eye area without even telling me she was going to do so! Holy ouch! She apologized that it was painful at least. As I was checking out, Dasia is trying to talk to me about how to take care of the lashes but same teen girl rude just jumps right in and asks for payment. Doesn't apologize at all for interrupting. She just wants to be done and close the shop! Bottom line, this was a not so great experience with this salon. * Kyra, the owner, called and texted me to help me after this experience. I found Stellar Lash on Groupon for eyelash extensions. I was hesitant booking for lash extensions through Groupon just because it's a service that's typically much more expensive but I am so happy I gave them a try. Erin did my extensions and I absolutely love them. I've been to 3 different salons and this is by far the best. She was friendly and made me comfortable and she was able to apply a full set it in 1.5 hrs. I'm used to having to lay through over 2 hours of work so this is a huge bonus. It's been 3 days and the extensions still look and feel amazing. Minimal fall out and I get a lot of compliments. I will definitely be returning :). read more

Right upfront I'll tell you I did not end up getting my lashes done here. Why? I booked an appointment a week out for a new set. (I was curious if the product from my other lash studio was causing irritation, which I've since found out it wasn't) The day before I was informed by my employer of a mandatory meeting during the same time as my appointment. I immediately called to reschedule my appointment and was informed that there would be a $25 charge to reschedule. I laughed all the way back to my original lash studio, Deluxe Nails/Lashes. I don't know why businesses play these games. Was it really that important for you to throw a hail mary $25 fee to reschedule vs a gaining a long time customer? Anyway, happy to have my lovely lashes and brows back and looking fancy. Thanks Deluxe! :) read more
