Amazing salon! Clean, sanitized and very welcoming! Whenever we call Jason-- The front desk manager is always able to get me and my aunt in. The salon is clean, wonderful and friendly staff and always makes us feel welcomed! The gel polish they have are very trendy just like the ones I saw when I was back home in New York. We really like this place. I would re book if I'm intown! Call them and u won't regret it! read more

Ovation Nails and Spa - Pretty and glitter gel polish! Not bad $75 for Gel X! - Waxing Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

I have been coming to the salon and seeing Celine since they opened their doors, so that's many years. I've never been so mistreated as I was today. Instead of getting my 10 fingers done I left with only 9 done, as Celine with her long pointy nail hurt my right . As she was pushing back skin under my nai, she pushed so hard that I started bleeding and I was in pain. Instead of acknowledging what she had done and apologize, she quickly put some what I suppose was antibacterial liquid on which caused it to burn profusely. I asked if I could run to the bathroom and wash my hands to make sure I wouldn't get an infection and she said no as it would remove the other nails polish! WTF! She then wanted to proceed with the dip powder and I said NO, I have an open, bleeding wound I'm not risking an infection. This is a service business, where competition is fierce. Compassion, an apology and strategy to make things right would've gone a long way. Instead I was charged in full, which I foolishly paid. It's unfortunate but I will never step foot or hand into this salon again read more

Pedicure was great. I had a basic manicure and cost did not seem worth it. Plus it looked like she used instruments that didn't come out of new sterile package. The cost of services is high in North Scottsdale and just felt like I overpaid for both with the quality I received. read more

I am a caregiver for an 89 year old woman. She cancels her nail appointment at the last minute frequently because her back hurts and she is not able to go. Today, I went in to drop off a check for a late cancellation and Kenny said they would not take the check and he hoped she was feeling better. This was very kind and appreciated. Jason is wonderful! He recognizes my number when I call and is always very professional to help me schedule and reschedule. My client's favorite person to get is Celine, but all of the people she has gotten have been wonderful. Everyone is friendly and Kenny or Emily greet us when we arrive and make us feel welcome! read more

I have been going and having nails done with Hailey for almost a year now. It is very rare to meet a nail tech who is consistent with their services. Hailey does a beautiful job each time I see her. Before we are finished Hailey looks over my nails, and/or toes and makes sure she is happy with her work before asking me. The salon is clean, friendly, and fairly priced. My appointments are always within minutes of the scheduled time if not right on time. read more

I am from out of town and one of my nails broke so I came here to get one fixed. I explained that I would like them to fix the nail but if they couldn't match the colors/acrylic base I would get a new set. The man doing my nails was extremely rude. The acrylic was lumpy and he barely filed the nail and when he first put the nail on it was crooked. The base color was completely different from the other nails and the french tip was a different color as well. They also didn't have the same charms as my other nails so I asked him to change the other charms. The other hand he filed down the nails and removed the french tip in the process and he didn't fix it. Today, the day after I got the nails done, all of the charms have fallen off. Horrible experience never going again. read more

Nikki, Danny, Nancy, Henry, Jenny. You all contributed to making my day. Nikki did my Mani and my pedi, she was amazing. We had some great stories, good giggles and we talked about our travels. I'm just putting this out there, mask mandates have been lifted in Arizona as well as other states, so maybe businesses should look at, if people don't want to wear them, you can accommodate then, if people want to wear them, maybe there should be maybe a different time for businesses to accommodate that at a different time. That way your business came stay in business, just saying. Let your customers choose if they want or don't want to wear the mask. I will call my new nail color, Easter egg blue. I LOVE THIS PLACE, I WOULD GO BACK. read more

Mimi is good at Dip manicures! However, salon is a bit dirty, the girls' nail stations aren't super tidy and there's fingerprints all over the front glass doors and windows. They also don't offer water or anything. I've referred 4 friends there and they haven't done anything :/ I do think Mimi does a nice job though and their prices are fair. read more

I got dip polish which turned out pretty well, decently priced. The pedicure, however, was terrible. My toenails were so harshly filed that my nail bed was throbbing underneath and super sensitive. She also said it was going to be $12 just to add a callus removal... I've head of $3-$5 but twelve is crazy. Adding a photo of my "pedicure" just for reference. I'm pretty sure my toes looked better before I went in read more

INCREDIBLE NAIL SALON!!!! 5 stars all around! It's under new ownership and let's start off with they are the most genuine people you would ever meet. I currently live in San Diego and yes I do a 5 hour drive or the 1 hour flight once a month to come down and get my nails done specifically from here. No exaggeration just the truth. Another thing to highlight about the salon is regardless who you ask for everyone in the salon does phenomenal work! All the staff is super friendly and make you feel like this is home. Now let's talk about these amazing massage chairs they just got in. I can easily just nap on this chair for hours and I truly wish I have one at home. Just come and check out the shop I promise they do not disappoint at all!! read more

I absolutely love this salon. Every time I have been here, I have received exactly what I've asked for and more. I am so excited to have tried out this salon! read more

Went in with high hopes and left with completely ruined nails. The technician that was assigned to me clearly cannot be licensed and had no idea how to properly remove a dip manicure. Once the "main technicians" saw what had happened, they sent in their most qualified technician to fix the unfixable situation. I appreciated them waiving the removal fee, however I was charged $25 for this "manicure"; I'm not in the business of not paying so I complied. The entire experience was painful in every aspect. I would highly recommend not charging your customers when you cause painful ridges in their nail beds. read more

If you like a dip powder manicure, this place would be perfect for you. I went in for an acrylic fill. Manicurist tried to persuade me to switch to dip powder but that is not the look I wanted so I told her no thank you, acrylic fill because I need length and shape. She removed my acrylic tips, covered my real nails in acrylic (no new tips) and charged me higher price than for a full set. I now have short nails that look like dip powder...opposite of what I asked for and wanted. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars...I went in for SNS. Picked a red color, the didn't have it so I picked again...they didn't have 3 colors I chose..all I wanted was a red. They kept showing me berry shades or pinks. Not to mention he did not want to completely remove my prior SNS. "I will just remove the color and leave the base"... unhygienic. I left in the middle of my prior SNS being removed. Don't waste your time w this place lol read more

I've been having my dip nails done with Kenny. I usually try to stretch as long as I can. After 6 weeks!!!!....they were really grown out, so I went back to get redone. They had all stayed in place and still looked good. Well worth the extra to do a dip. Kenny did an excellent job. And if you're getting a pedicure, they have the BEST massage chairs!!! read more

I got a dip manicure and pedicure. Salon was very nice and clean and employees were very friendly. My sister called ahead of time to ask about how they did dip (I.e. do they use separate small jars?) and they confirmed they did. When we got there, they did not use separate jars but seemed willing to accommodate the request to do so. The tech doing my nails did it with a separate jar but the tech doing my sister's nails seemed not to understand and did not. Final manicure looks good but it was a little messy - they did not have us wash hands so lots of powder all over mixed with oil and pieces cracking off 1-2 days after around the nail (not affecting the actual manicure though). Pedicure was great and I have no complaints. Chairs for pedicure were very nice! read more

The owner was very helpful with my service. The vibe of the salon was overall good. The service requested was performed to satisfaction.

I walked in and was greeted right away with a smile and good morning. It was very nice. They were extremely accommodating to me. Great pedi. I will go back for gel nails and a wax. Very nice team from start to finish. It was a pleasure. read more

So, this salon is under new management by Emily and Kenny. I hadn't been here before they took over to be able to talk about any changes made or what it was like before, but I will tell you anything Emily touches turns beautiful. She has a keen eye for detail and makes everything her own, from the beautiful flower wall in the salon to the designs she does on my nails. I've been a loyal client of Emily for 2 years and followed her to different salons. I'm pretty picky, and when I first met her, she did my eyebrows.. better than anyone else I've found, she took more time, care, and attention. She gives 110% to what she does. She started doing my nails at a different salon after my regular nail girl moved away, and Emily can get my acrylics to stay on longer than anyone else, she makes my designs attention-getting and beautiful, and she's a sweetheart. I've even referred others to her who love her as well. The whole team is friendly and sweet and welcoming. read more

I was looking for a new nail place and was recommended to try Ovation out. I'm so glad I did! Everyone is so sweet and friendly, I've been here a few times now and I won't go elsewhere. My gel pedicures are always amazing, the massage chairs are the best I've tried, the nail techs always give amazing leg massages that last a long time.
