Avoid this spot if you can. Bubbly uncured gel nails and uneven filing. Bleeding in several spots and gel on my skin.

Wouldn't really recommend, can be off and on with how they treat customers. Vibe can be off.

I've been going here for a while and never had an experience like this. There was a miscommunication on what color I wanted my nails, and my technician (who I think was the owner) proceeded to get extremely upset with me. It was a complete accident and I didn't mean to cause any problems at all and was calmly communicating but was met by yelling, dragging other techs to get involved, and mumbling under her breath. This dragged on until she said she had another client and moved me to get my nails repainted by somebody else. Super unfortunate and unprofessional- I'll be finding a new salon. read more

DO not go here, UNCURED GEL & infection on the skin. It all started my appointment before this when the gel two days after my appointment was uncured and I went in to go fix it but I didn't realize that some of the other fingers could have uncured gel. The most recent appointment was the final straw with me and luster as someone who has been a costumer for over 4 years and have referred so many friends and family here. I went in on Friday December 12th, and got very quick and abrasive service, Cathy was drilling aggressively and when I said I wanted to take off all the hard gel and start with fresh nails she did not want to do that, it's fine but she was hurting my cuticles. The first photo shows how inflamed my cuticles were right after my appointment and the next photo is my skin the morning after getting my nails done, a complete infection. I went in on December 13 at 3:00 pm and that is when I got publicly bullied in that salon. Imagine seeing a young girl being treated so poorly by much older women working the salon. I told the manager that my skin was infected and I needed them off immediately she blamed me and said it was my dry skin and she won't do a refund even though it's clearly an infection do to unsanitary practices and abrasive tools, and rushed as well might I add. I sat down in the corner for over an hour no one helping me or talking to me but talking about me. I got asked by what seemed like one nice person in there and she asked if I was okay, I told her how they blamed me for my skin and were mean. The owner came over stood over me didn't even sit down to assert her perceived dominance (bullying) used a tools aggressively on me then threw the tool down and told me she wouldn't take them off all the way and told me to leave this place, never comeback and I'm not welcome. I started to have a panic attack because of how embarrassed I felt and how poorly I was being treated. My mom called the salon today and Cherry the manager and owner blamed me for being too picky and said it's my dry skin and said "why you believe your daughter she lies", total gaslighting. Luckily mom has emotional regulation and comprehension and said "I believe my daughter because she has an infection and was bullied in a nail salon on Saturday and you're not a doctor" Cherry sure enough did not like that (are we surprised by her bullying at this point) her ego was hurt and hung up after yelling at my mother. Do not come here unless you enjoy verbal harassment and infections. I've never been so disrespected in my life at a salon when I asked so nicely and calmly to remove my infected nails. They do not handle accountability well and this is not how you run a business. Learn from this. Take accountability, be a better person your ego will harm you and your business. read more

Best experience in the valley. After 4 years of being over-charged at another salon for a much less relaxing and much less quality experience. I happened in here after talking to girlfriends and realizing how much I was over-paying (also their pedicures and fingernails looked better). If I could give this place a NEGATIVE 1MILLION Review I would!!! 4 years ago I got nail fungus here & a few of my nails fell off & they have NEVER been the same since! I know it was from here because it was the only nail salon that I ever went to since moving to AZ and when I brought it to the owner's attention, she said that it wasn't fungus and polished over them anyway?! I went to the Dr., he prescribed me on both oral & topical meds that took forever to clear them up! A few of my nails fell off and they have never been the same since! Dummy me, I recently tried it again this past weekend for a pedi as I figured that maybe just MAYBE things had changed in the past 4 years there since most nail techs are transient and it definitely HAS NOT!! They fit us in, rushed us & I have NEVER had such a bad pedi in my entire life & WILL NEVER EVER BE GOING BACK!!! read more

BEWARE! NAIL FUNGUS - see attached pics. I visited on 1/27/25 and had "Tom". I should have known when he didn't remove the gel base already on my fingers, he just sanded and added to them. I now have NAIL FUNGUS from the improper technique. I have had my nails done with either SNS or gel consistently over the past ten years and have NEVER had this issue. I'm furious. read more

Today was my second time having my nails done at Luster. I called and made an appt for GelX but ended up getting hard gel per the recommendation of one of the nail techs as it's more "durable" than dip or GelX... A man named Ken did my nails and in the beginning he seemed like he knew what he was doing and was relatively nice. I tried to trust the process as he applied layer after layer of hard gel to my finger nails. After he was done using the drill he asked me if I liked the shape of them and I kindly replied "they're really thick can you please thin them out?". He quickly replied "no" while shaking his head ... I understand there is a language barrier so it's possible he didn't understand me but he then turned to a woman working next to him and started speaking in a different language which was followed by laughing. I asked him "sorry, what did you just say?" as I felt they were speaking about me and my request to have the nails thinner. Overall bad vibes and I felt very uncomfortable to say I absolutely hated the nails. After an hour and a half and $61, I left the salon less than pleased and in need of a new manicure. Not sure if this is how hard gel is supposed to look since i'm used to dip but regardless they look and feel horrible. read more

After being a loyal customer for about 3 years, I have to admit that some of the technicians have gotten extremely cocky and rude. Unfortunately, my technician, Mary, no longer works there so I went to another technician who did my manicure. It was just okay, nothing great. Then another nail technician, I think her name is Kathy (I always see her there so she clearly knows I come there often) accused me of not paying the $5 for gel removal. I didn't have gel on to begin with, but she was adamant I did, and asked my nail technician, who confirmed I didn't have gel just as it was stated on my check out slip and then she asked me "IF I WAS SURE." This was obviously aggravating, especially for a customer who always pays and tips well for the last 3 years. Never going back. read more

Would give this place a NEGATIVE review if possible! They let me leave the nail salon like this because they were too lazy to properly take off my nails. The first thing the woman says is that she needs to "hurt me" to get my nails off. I kindly asked to soak them off and she snaps back with "we don't have time" and proceeds to use the hottest drill directly on my nails! Couldnt tell you this woman's name but she works on STATION 9.
