Came into town on a Thursday afternoon, and was able to get in with a lovely nail tech named, Ruby. She was polite, and although I started out thinking I was going to do a French manicure (for a photo shoot the next day) she did a very nice job with a gel manicure. (Clean and shiny!) I typically don't care for gel or dip because it's just a little too thick, but Ruby took care to make sure the gel was done thin-ly, and my nails turned out beautifully. Mind you, I was not looking for anything dramatic. Something very simple and clean. Great success. I will definitely be back. read more

The ladies who did my nails did a great job. I like how they turned out. However, I felt that the customer service was lacking, especially at the end of my visit. When I was checking out, I politely asked the woman taking my payment if she could throw away my disposable pedicure slippers since my hands were full. She told me I could throw them away outside, which felt dismissive and unnecessary. It would have taken very little effort to help. She also came across as standoffish for no apparent reason. Visited this salon today for a hard gel fill. I was seated right away. My service was not great. The nail tech absolutely destroyed my new growth with a rough nail bit. When I mentioned something she kept arguing with me saying it was from the previous salon.. but I was talking about the new growth that only she touched. Then when my nail was under the lamp it burned, something that normally doesn't happen because my natural nail was filed down too much. The second issue is that she hurt my cuticle with the rough bit and then assured me a different bit would be better.. then she cut me with the other bit. Absolutely no antiseptic solution was used (alcohol was used before the cut not after). She used a dry brush to clean my edges, touching the cut and then put it back with her other tools. Unbelievable. I only recommend this salon if you're not concerned about an increased risk of infection. When checking out I wasn't even asked how my service was even though I'm sure the manager heard my multiple discussions with my nail tech. read more

I used to be a regular but can't afford to get my nails done very often anymore, but I thought I'd treat myself to a mani and pedi with my own polishes from home with the thought being that a professional could surely do a better job and make them last a little longer than when I do them at home. Sadly the nail tech I was assigned did not seem to want to take me. She argued multiple times with me trying to push me to get gel in spite of my repeatedly explaining that that's not what I want. At one point, she rolled her eyes and walked away while I was speaking to her, but again, my hope was that a professional would do a nice job. She was annoyed with me for wanting a very simple spiderweb design on two nails because my nail beds are on the smaller side. The design is chunky and not well done, the polish reached no edges of any nail, the second coat doesn't even line up with the first. What an absolute waste of time and money. read more

Have lived in Arizona for 3.5 years and no joke this is the only place I can find where the gel lasts 4 weeks. I was so spoiled in Ohio-- I had many places I could go and the gel would last 3-4 weeks. But I really struggled to find a place in Arizona where the gel didn't start chipping in less than 1 week. Luckily. about a year ago, someone referred me to Plush and I've been going there since. Fortunately, they are also only about 2 miles from my house. Only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don't recommend them for large parties. I got married in June 2024 and I called them to see if they could get in a larger party of 8. They acted like it was no big deal. I had to put some money down and let them know everyone's services, which I did. However, when we got there for our appt, they took some people right away, while others they made wait for over an hour. My mother-in-law was the last to get hers done and by the time she was finished, all of my sisters and nieces left because they just didn't want to sit around and wait. If I book for a party of 8 and am told they can get us in at 11am, that should mean that EVERYONE gets seen at 11am. If they planned to stagger the appointments, they should have told me that up front. I'm disappointed my mom and mother-in-law had to wait so long. So as much as I love Plush for my regular monthly appts, I don't recommend them for parties. On the plus side, communication with them is very seamless and they text you appt confirmations. Also, the nails I had for my wedding lasted all 4 weeks and even though I got white gel, they looked really white after 4 weeks. Normally white gel starts to look dirty after a few weeks. read more

This is a family own business! This Nail Bar has been in business for 5 years. I came into the salon because my nail tech (Nina) works here now. Yay! The nail salon is easy to park near, very clean, great service, and friendly staff. The price for my mani/pedi is worth the price. The only thing is my eyebrow wax was $20.00. It says $12 & up. I came in with a VERY thick dip that needed removal from another salon. I saw "T" and she was so careful to take it off and then apply new gel. Great first experience. I made an appointment for my daughter the same day for a full set of acrylics (we had been to another nail salon the day before for pedicures). We had to change the appointment time and there was no issue. When we arrived it was a small, quiet salon. Jade was very friendly and made sure my daughter was aware of all of the shape and color options. She also paid close attention to details throughout the process. I'm very pleased with my manicure + dipping powder + full set tips done here at Plush! I called around 8 am to get an appointment around lunch time. I had dipping powder and tips but they were too long and ended up bothering me. I also had very dry cuticles/skin and very short nails because of nail biting and weather. I came in a little earlier than expected but the receptionist sat me down right away and started the removal process of my old tips so I don't wait too long. When I told him about the dryness, he suggested I get a manicure to get them taken care of along with the dipping powder and tips (for length). Bee was my nail tech and she did great! Listened to all the adjustments I wanted done and wasn't overly chatty (which I prefer since I like to relax). I feel like they turned out beautifully! I love my nails now- not too long but also long enough that it looks like I don't bite my nails! The manicure helped a lot with the dryness as well. Overall, I paid $70 = $50 dipping powder/tips + $10 manicure + $10 tip. A couple of downsides: 1. I'm so used to getting water or something at other nail salons that I missed getting one here. 2. They didn't put lotion after the manicure. I feel like after all that work (1hr and 30 minutes), my hands would be dry. I think a little massage with lotion, doesn't even have to be long, would elevate the experience. Still 5 stars though because I love how they turned out! I will be back!! read more

There was another customer like 15 feet away loudly on FaceTime and the lady next to me complained and so the owner said that he had to shut that down quick because last time someone wrote a bad yelp review because someone else was on FaceTime in the salon.. then the owners husbad said "not to be racist but it was a Persian lady and they're always loud and obnoxious people". I had my daughter with me who is 1/4 Persian. This comment was racist and offensive to me as a mother of a Persian baby. I paid and tipped despite this comment.
