I was running about 10 minutes late for my Saturday morning Brazilian wax appointment and tried calling ahead, but could only reach an automated system. When I arrived, I was turned away because their next appointment was in 15 minutes. What was even more frustrating was that the staff kept pushing me toward sugaring despite admitting it wouldn't effectively remove all my hair. They then suggested I return later when a more experienced technician would be available. So not only was I denied service, but I was also expected to make another trip because the available staff couldn't perform the service I booked. Poor communication, questionable expertise, and absolutely no consideration for customers' time. Definitely not returning!

I was given the sales pitch for buying a package of waxes. It's not a monthly subscription, simply a package of waxes. I declined not because it wasn't a reasonable price for the packages but because I'm really bad about going in consistently to anywhere that isn't the eyebrow threading place in Surprise that I'm used too. My eyebrows don't grow enough to go every 4 weeks & I don't want to go to have like 6 hairs waxed from each eye. Maybe one day I'll be a better adult & make consistent appointments. Absolutely gorgeous location. The owner is amazing and so kind. I thought this was going to be a great experience. I was disappointed with who I was assigned to for my manicure (Mimi). She had a horrible attitude the entire time. She was in a such a rush that some of my chrome was chipping before I even left the building. She redid it with attitude and zero apology. She was so lazy and rude the ENTIRE time. I asked a simple question: "do u have any sheer chrome options" and she practically threw the ring with all the options at me. She grabbed my hands whenever she needed a finger with force. Not even an inkling of kindness for over an hour. I could overlook the attitude if the finished product was incredible. Because she was in such a rush my nails are subpar and I doubt they are going to last. I have glitter all over my hands and chrome polish all around the edges. She didn't take the time to clean up. I linked pictures of how it looked AFTER I had her fix the chips, so you can only imagine what it looked like before. I wouldn't have Mimi do my nails again EDIT: changed to 5 stars because the another lady (maybe the owner) was nice enough to fix it for me. Imagine you going to get your nails done for your birthday and a week later your nails start to…read morelift and another week later they pop/break off. Then you reach out to the owner only to be told that you can't be refunded or have your nails fixed if that's what you're looking for, when you only called to question if this normal or not for your nails to look like they've been done for a month and it's only been a week and some change. Then be told you can come get them fixed but have to pay. I shouldn't have to go out my way to come back to the shop to pay more money because my nails were rushed and not done properly! The owner sky is super rude and I will be disputing the charge with my bank and hopefully I get my money back because I sure enough deserve it. Don't say I didn't try to resolve this matter before escalating because I made three attempts! Do better. All I asked for is for them to be fixed, then a refund because of the combativeness. You left me no choice. The first screenshot is messages I sent on July 11th, just 10 days after I got them done. The other messages are between me and the owner today, July 18th and the pictures I took of the other nails. Horrible! So far 6 nails are trash. Edit to respond to owner: there's no full concept to give. I said what I said and I stand on it just like you are with decisions you made by not making this right. Stop being defensive, argumentative and take responsibility. I'm not the first to complain about nails breaking quickly after a service, look at your google reviews which you have responded in an aggressive way. 3 days. 5 days, a week later it doesn't matter! Most nail salons give you that weak window to reach out for any complaints. I will never step foot in another nail salon because it's a waste of money, time and energy that comes along with piss poor results and customer service. The time you're going back and forth with me you should be using to put more effort into your service! About context about the grow out you're not making any sense. "Grow out" should never be used as an excuse for a horrible manicure job.

The bigger issue was the service itself. The towel under my hands had visible residue from a previous client and had to be replaced after I pointed it out. The cuticle work was painful enough that I had to say something. The finished manicure also had lint trapped under the top coat, leaving one nail visibly flawed and rough. When I contacted the salon afterward, the only solution repeatedly offered was to rebuff the nail, which did not address my concerns about cleanliness, technique, and overall quality.
