I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this nail salon. Despite showing multiple inspiration pictures, my nails were not done correctly the first time, leading to an additional 2 hours added to the appointment. I repeatedly requested a cuticle cleanup, but it was never done, even after being promised it would be addressed post-acrylic application. It wasn't until I spoke with the front desk that I was switched to a new technician. I paid $80 for a service that lacked both quality and professionalism. To add to the frustration, there was an additional $15 charge after I had already paid and tipped. The total came out to $95 plus a $15 tip. I will not be returning to this salon, nor will I recommend it to others. The lack of attention to detail and the extended time it took to correct the initial mistakes were unacceptable. I'm shocked desert nails spa off greenway doesn't have 5 stars. I've been going here for over five years and received consistent service and end product. It is always packed and if you have a preferred technician, it's best to book in advance. You see the same familiar faces at the front and they are very professional. Since I primarily come for my nails (gel polish changes hard gel for acrylics), what matters most to me in a Nail Salon is the attention to detail and wait times. The filing is always even. The polish is never on cuticles. The polish is smoothly applied, and it lasts. I never have to wait more than five minutes, 10 minutes max. As a busy mom they get me in and out. Another salon in town had me wait an hour and it took 50% longer than at this nail spa. It solidified my loyalty. If you have any issues with your nails no need to go on Yelp just call them and they will fix it which I've only had to do once or twice in five years. I highly recommend. read more

I have been a loyal client of this salon since 2015 and frequently recommend it to guests in the area. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be returning or recommending it moving forward. I scheduled an appointment for my cousin and myself, as she was getting engaged the following day. I called ahead to confirm and specifically mentioned that this was a special occasion, asking that we be paired with a skilled technician. At check-in, the staff congratulated my cousin on her engagement--something she was not yet aware of, which was disappointing given the context I had shared. My cousin requested a simple, classic full set gel manicure ($80): short length, oval shape, and "Funny Bunny" white. Despite this, the technician repeatedly pushed her toward a pink or French tip style. The technician was shown a reference photo, which clearly reflected a slightly longer (midi) length, yet proceeded to cut the tips down excessively short. The application itself was rushed and uneven, with acrylic overlapping onto the skin. Due to the length being taken far shorter than requested, the technician suggested a French tip simply to create the illusion of length. Additionally, her cuticles were left dry and peeling from the process. For an $80 full set, it was surprising to learn that cuticle care was not included. We raised our concerns, and the front desk arranged for a second technician to redo the service. The second technician was professional and delivered the result my cousin originally requested. However, the process took approximately 2.5 hours to complete one full set due to correcting the initial work. At checkout, despite the inconvenience, I paid in full and tipped both technicians. I was then informed of an additional $15 charge for a cuticle cleanup that was added because my cousin pointed out that her cuticles had not been addressed during the initial service. Charging extra to correct an oversight was both surprising and disappointing. This salon was once a trusted, local favorite. Unfortunately, the level of care, attention to detail, and customer service has declined significantly. It now feels more transactional than client-focused. Been here three times because it's conveniently located close to my home and every experience has been the same: Got my nails done less than a week ago.. shaved them so far down at the cuticles they looked grown out same day of service. Over half of the rhinestones have fallen off, one nail fully fell off after 3 days and the other broke 2 days later. Butchered my pedicure and cut my toenails so short I couldn't even comfortably wear open toed sandals. Charged $130 for the service PLUS separate tips for both services. My first time. The receptionist who made me appointment was very sweet! This is definitely a pricier nail salon then others I have been to. I had a gel manicure with a design and pedicure for $95. When I went home I didn't feel the design looked as good as I wanted and is slightly off centered . They didn't have a gold which she told me but I didn't realize how much that would change the look of the design. I do appreciate the time she put into my manicure design. I wish my pedicure massage portion and hot stone was a little longer- that felt a little rushed. Maybe I won't come on a Saturday when they are so busy. But I will say they are very efficient here! I went back to this salon after 5 years to have my nails done; originally I stopped going there because they ruined my nails by filling them so thin using all the harsh electrical drills to remove the polish, speeding up their work. I give them 3 star because they accepted me as a walk in last week, and the nail tech was very nice! But it's either the nails polish, the amount of coats they apply ( which is less than my regular place) or that my nails were again filled so thin than within days two of my nails broke and few nails gel color started fading away. I called them and mentioned it and they asked me to go back to have it fixed. I went back and even did not ask for full set manicure, but the lady who I believe was the manager insisted that it was my fault that two of nails were broken and did not take into the fact that even if let's say I intentionally broke my nails, how could she justify the fact that few of gel polish were already fading! I didn't want to ruin my Friday and I just told her what she can do at that point which she said she can have a text reapply coat to the ones fading and glue the broken nails. The tech lady who put time to fix it was very nice and did her best to fix them, but today after even one day the gel is fading and pealing off again. Will I go back, I won't! I got a gel mani ($38 before tip) with Tracy in the color Dulce De Leche. Tracy was amazing, she was so so nice and really efficient but also super delicate and detail oriented. The color was brand new too so super fresh and everything felt really nice and clean. Also, I came in as a walk-in on a busy Saturday afternoon and they still got me in right away! Tracy got the exact shape I wanted and was just amazing. I used to love going here. This place was great and they always did fantastic but I moved to CA and came back to visit and went here but I was very disappointed!! The place was remodeled and looks beautiful but the pedicure is over priced for nothing! I got water a scrub with a pumice stone and my toes painted with oil rubbed on my legs. That's it! I added a fill to my fingernails and my total was $78! I was in shock! My toe nails are crooked and have polish on my skin and my nails look thick and messy! I have added pics! The quality was terrible. My foot was being hurt the whole entire time with the tools she was using on my nails. As it turns out that was a big sign as I now have nail infections. The person who did my pedicure was very rude any anytime I would say something to her often there would be no response back. They are great for all types of services from buffing for the people who can't wear polish, to nail art for the trendy fashionistas. I am super picky and was disappointed by one tech.
