On several occasions over the years, I have stopped by Queen's Nails at Tatum and Cactus to get a pedicure. Previously, I have been pleased by the service and the staff at the salon; however, that seems to have changed, as I had two negative experiences in the past three days. On Sunday afternoon, I stopped by Queen's Nails to see if they had any openings before they closed for the day. They had 3 or 4 staff working all helping customers. I then lived through that embarrassing moment when all of the staff stopped working and stared at me (as did all of the customers). When I said I was looking for an appointment, a staff member politely said nothing was available the rest of the day. That was fine though then when I looked at their website a few minutes later, it appeared there were a few openings online before the day was out. Then, since it was closed on Monday, I made an online appointment for Tuesday afternoon (today). I arrived for the appointment a few minutes early, and there was only one staff member present with no customers. When I shared I made an appointment, he confirmed I did, though he said the person I made the appointment to be with isn't working today, and that both he and another staff member have customers coming in a few minutes so they cannot honor my appointment. He said I'd need to come back later or go somewhere else. He did apologize, but also blamed the mistake on the online system which he led to believe is not reliable and shouldn't be used. Beware of the salon's online system (https://dikidi.app/1833384), which shows 5 staff members and 38 offered services. The schedules of the staff do not match up with their schedules, and when someone makes an appointment, though they are notified (if they look), they don't regularly appear to look up the online appointments nor notify by phone anyone who makes an appointment that cannot be honored. Ironically, when making a reservation, there is a message that says appointments cannot be changed or cancelled within a two-hour window. I certainly am concerned about a company that doesn't honor appointments or fix the issues, which it sounds like have been an issue for some time. It's a shame that this experience happened as my prior experiences were positive (which is why I didn't rate Queen's Nails as a 1 altogether); however, customer service may have gone downhill since then. I will be considering other locations moving forward. read more

This is the happiest salon I've been to - the owner was laughing, my nail tech was laughing as well as a few clients who seemed like regulars, and then me because it was contagious (the laughing!). I love the kind of atmosphere that Queen's Nails has! AND it made me realize that the other salons I go to are way too serious. I got a good gel pedicure. The only thing I'd say that was not up to par? My nail tech didn't remove all of my old gel polish, a Tiffany blue color, so you can still see teeny specks of it, underneath this pale coral. She needed to be more thorough in removing the old gel polish. But overall, I had a great experience and recommend Queen's! read more

July of 2022 New Management took over this Nail Salon. Lisa is the manager and in my 4 years in Arizona I have not met a more professional nail specialist like her ! She is always laughing and full of positive energy. She did an outstanding job on my Manicure . In fact she has done my nails before . Hanna gave me a hot stone pedicure. She also gave me a pedicure before. She gave my feet TLC. Extra Lotion and hot stones. Their is No Reason to sample another Salon when I have found " The Best Hidden Treasure" in all of Phoenix. Incredibly poor customer service. I will say, i take full responsibility for my mistake. It was an honest mistake and I should have double checked which location I was going to. Let's just say it's been a long day lol. However, it gives this business no right to speak with rudeness and passive aggressiveness. As you can tell from the text and phone number, this was Queen salon. And it's not as of a big deal, but they messed up my name twice. Would not recommend based off of their customer service. I've been going to this nail salon for a year and haven't had any issues. However, one evening before closing, they accidentally mixed up credit cards and charged me for someone else's service that was more expensive. Instead of crediting me, they wrote the difference on the back of an invoice and gave it to me to use because they wanted to close. Well, I can't seem to find the paper and when I returned and mentioned it, the manager was very upset. Upset because she claims that she cannot honor it if I can't find it and doesn't remember. That woman remembers every single thing! She accused me of lying in front of her customers and I said I could give her the date and amount so she can look it up since I assumed they had a record, but they refused. I said I could take it up with my bank and she said if I contacted my bank, I was no longer welcome there. Is this the Vietnamese mafia? LOL Since it's such a small amount, I decided to let it go and book another mani/pedi. When she realized it was me she said she could no longer service me! So, overcharged and then dismissed and called a liar. It was their mistake, not mine and they were unwilling to look into it and correct it. This was all over a $9 difference! Clearly, customer service is not their strength. I'd seriously consider going elsewhere because the owners are very rude. read more

I just love this place. No frills, not unnecessarily fancy, but clean, relaxing, affordable, and such sweet girls. Today they were playing relaxing instrumental music, no TV; it was so nice. Got a spa pedicure from Ti and WOW is she amazing at the massage part!! The sugar scrub is my absolute favorite part of a pedicure and she did such a fantastic job at putting me into a trance during both the sugar scrub and calf/ foot massage right afterwards. I unknowingly came in fifteen minutes before they close, but they took me anyway! Upon realizing my goof, I apologized and they were very gracious. I'll pay better attention next time! Horrible service. Asked for dip French tip and it came out lumpy. When brought up to the owner (also the person doing my nails) she got annoyed. Had horrible attitude towards my wanting to make some changes. And then had the audacity to tell me she wasn't doing my nails next time. My mother was also with me and they got her pedicure wrong and when brought up to the person who was doing her toes the lady started to shake as if she was scared for her boss to hear . Then they tried to charge an extra $20 to add a simple design for my mothers manicure. We will not be coming back the owner has horrible attitude and seemed like some employees were scared of her. read more

This was the best pedicure I have ever had, hands down. Visiting family in Scottsdale I was worried about finding a salon for a Saturday Pedicure but I stopped in around 1pm and they got me right in. The gentleman who did my pedicure did a great job. Massaged my feet and legs for a good 10 minutes and it was heavenly. My toe nails looked great and I like this location as it's right across the mall. When I am back in Scottsdale, I will be back as they set the bar! read more

Basically paid to get my feet washed, they didn't even fully remove my old gel before they applied new gel. My my toe nails look thick and bulky, One week later i had to go else where to actually get a pedicure and fix their mess. Total waste of time and money. I can't give enough positive feedback about this place! I've had my nails done at many salons across the Valley, and Queen's Nails will have my loyalty from here on out. Not only is their gel mani service cheaper than most salons, but their service is better! My mom and I went in for gel manis together. She had Phi and I had Cindy; we were thrilled with both of them! Attention to detail was unmatched, and last time I got a gel mani from Cindy it lasted 3.5 weeks. (No breaks or chipping. I only had to get a new mani because of grow out.) Never ever use this place. No pride in their work and they will charge you for the mistakes. I came here to get my nails done before my wedding. When the girl was doing my toes she didn't trim my nails at all. They where super crooked the front of the French tip as lazy at best. When she went to do my finger nails I asked to keep as much of the length as I could. When she finished filing my nails the nail looked like a child's drawing of a hand pointy and uneven. I was very unhappy. The owner had to redo nails and since so much of my nail was gone I was forced to get acrylics. While doing the acrylics she was dismissive wouldn't allow me to tell her what I wanted and just did her own thing. There horribly shaped glue under my nails. There was no pride in what she did. To top it off I was charged with: One gel pedicure, two gel manicure plus acrylics even though they where the ones that screwed up. NEVER GOING THERR AGAIN. read more

I recently went in for a dip manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was going well, the girl was sweet and attentive and efficient, but then the owner came over to see what I wanted for dip on my fingernails. I showed her a picture (which I always do) and she said, in front of the whole salon. "well you need acrylics because you bite your nails!" And then she switched languages to non English and went on raving. I have never had to get Acrylics and the previous owners always did a good job with dip, no questions asked, no snarky rude comments. Why do you think I'm getting fake nails in the first place? I don't need to be nail shamed and I think if she didn't know how/want to do dip, she should have told me to come in another time for a different tech. That's what the last salon owners did. My daughters and I will take our money elsewhere where I can have a pleasant experience and get what I want for my hard earned money. I'm giving them a two stars because my nails are breaking. I got them done on Tuesday night now they are breaking off in my sleep. I noticed they were thin the next day and I'm a hairdresser so I need them a little thicker because I'm always working with my hands. I also had to fix the shape when I got home because some of them were crooked. The polish is lumpy and messy. The only good thing that came out of the time I was there was the pedicure. It was a great pedicure very relaxing. The only thing is that my nails polish in my toes are already starting to come off. Me and my friend are trying to find our home salon to always go to and we thought we found it but I guess we have to keep looking. Met up with a few of my gal pals the other week for some girl bonding time. We decided on this place as we had 2 of us coming from east phoenix , 1 from surprise, and one from the pv area. I have to say, it was the fastest I was in and out of a pedi chair ever. About 30 minutes. Now my heels are not in the best shape, but they dont need a sandblaster either. The gal spent maybe a minute tops on both feet. The only good thing really was the gal cut my toenails as short as I wanted them. I LOATHE long toenails. Most places won't trim them as short as I like, so I was pleased when she obliged to go shorter. Can not really touch on price as one of my friends treated me to my services for my Christmas gift. read more
