I used to LOVE this nail salon. Unfortunately a few nail techs have ruined this place. Some blow off your appointment last minute and say they have a doctors appointment, only to find out they took someone else instead. The most recent though is I called and asked for an appointment for Dip. I really only see 2 people at the salon anyway. So when they said they had time it's safe to assume I'd get one of the two people I always see. Instead I got some new guy that was HORRIBLE. I had dip on my nails and had to soak it off. Fine no problem. However I had a cut on my finger and the acetone stung. I said ouch! But not loudly. The guy said to me "what's your problem? Why ouch?" I told him I had a cut on my finger and the remover hit it and it hurt. He rolled his eyes. He then proceeds to drill the rest of the dip powder off and it's burning my nails. It's so hot with the drill. He ignores me. He's very rough with my hands. He asks what shape and I said square round and nails to be a little shorter. He said ok. During my service he randomly yells out "oh shit!" So loud people turn around and look at us. I ask what's wrong and he laughs and says oh nothing. He then spills a whole bottle of nail polish. Ugh okay... he has to clean it up and everyone is staring at us. So awkward. I look at my nails at the end as I always wait until they're finished to make a final judgement but they're HORRIBLE. My nails aren't the same shape as each other or the same length. Shoot even the dip powder color isn't even either. The nails were crooked and lumpy. I didn't even have a single broken nail when I came in! I tell the salon owner when I cash out that I'm not happy at all. She proceeds to charge me FULL price and asks to fix them next week. NO I have a work event Tuesday. She said to text her to reschedule. Well I did but didn't receive a single text back confirming a fix with the correct nail tech. She didn't even follow up with me until 8pm tonight! I drive far to come here as I liked the service but if the service and quality are going to be this terrible. I can go somewhere else. Steer clear of this place. read more

Looking for a nail salon in the Scottsdale area on a Monday, Jan 2 turned out to be a bit difficult. Holiday extensions and many businesses closed on Mondays had me calling a few places. I was happy to land at Soho Nails. I called ahead (same day) to make sure I could get in. Having an appt, I was brought to my chair quickly and eager to be pampered. A classic pedicure included a soak, clip/filing, cuticle removal, exfoliation, lotion rub, oil rub, hot stone rub and hot towel rub. All very nice. Then paint and color. I was surprised there wasn't a dryer but I was allowed to sit in the lounging chair as long as I wanted. I read a couple of chapters of my book, then headed out. Very nice stop. I used to love this place, it's convenient for me...it's really a shame. I came here since they opened, before they changed their name to SoHo. When Rose was manager, she was kind and listened to what you were looking to accomplish. The new manager is always hyper and super rushed. Her team is not personal, except for a couple people. As a walk in, she told me I had to hurry and make a decision because she has many appointments. The shop was close to empty. My toe nails have fungus and were cut uneven and too short. I had to go to a podiatrist for a procedure to avoid an ingrown toenail. They normally do a great job on fingernails, with an occasional poor job. Sadly, I'm finding a new place. read more

Took my mother in law to this spot for a relaxing spa day to get our nails done. Started out great but unfortunately the owner allows customers to use their cell phones at full volume. I asked the customer if she would mind turning down the volume but she refused. So I asked my nail tech, Kristen, to ask the owner to ask the customer to turn down the sound on her cell phone and she did not. Instead she turned the volume of the music in the salon UP to try to drown out the sound of the customers cell phone. All the while the customer is calling me names i.e. old, fat, bitch and the owner does/says nothing! Yes I did speak back to the young ratchet clientele and used adult language but the two ratchet ladies continued to watch "Bad Girls Club" at full volume. If you don't know ...this show is a reality show and every other word is an offensive swear word. While my nail tech, Kristen, did a great job this was not a relaxing experience and I would not recommend this spot if this is how they allow their clientele to behave. read more

The staff were all nice but the quality of the manicure was horrible. Each hand has completely different lengths and shapes. I asked for a liquid gel manicure with tip and thin french tip with chrome. I also got a pedicure with gel. I left with nails of all different shapes and lengths, cuts on my fingers, and fuzz under the top coat. I've gotten similar nail styles and designs from a number of different salons and so far this has been the worst and the most expensive. All of that together was $153 and you would think for that the quality would be actual good work and I wouldn't leave with blood on my finger from being cut. Pedicure was great but one of the men and a woman started at me feet making a disturbed face as they were walking past so I'm not really sure what's up with that. I know not to expect the exact same look as an inspo photo. I never do but you would think she would at least get the rounded look right after saying a thinner French tip. They also only let me pay with Venmo which is weird because I'm sending money to a random username not even a business account. read more
