I was up saled on my nails and im guessing it was Because of my race because they were talking in thier language then looked at me then in the middle of my nails gave me the price of nearly 100 dollars . My nails were pretty and i figured that was just thier rate plus i was already in the middle . I got nothing special other than a dip. Fast forward i lost my actual nail. Not sure what glue he used but other places dont seem to be using it. Now im being told i can potentially lose my finger and my hand skin is beginning to peel . The first time I ever came was in 2018. I wanted to love this place. But after this time around I won't be going back. There quality has gotten so so bad here. The nail polishes to choose from are beyond old. I got a pedicure and the nail polish was chipping the same day. I had to redo my own toes that same day. It was $5 extra to get a scrub and it lasted 20 seconds and she didn't unfortunately do a good job at all. The worst was my acrylic nails though. The glue was very dated and cheap (i know) and they decided to just do a powder but didn't look anything like what I wanted. The shape wasn't what I wanted either. And they charged me $5 extra again for using a clear gel coat which made the nails super bubbly. He said this was normal and that the cuticle oil would take the bubbles off. In my head I was like NO, that's not how it works! I simply said Okay if you say so. The total for a pedicure and acrylic manicure was $65. ($25 pedicure, $40 acrylic nail) I have gone to many nail salons and i know that for that price I could have gotten such a much much better job! I'm sorry but cutting corners and using cheap products will result in you losing customers. I would have been a regular. But never again will I go back. No clue how they have 4.5 stars on google! I'm so very disappointed. They are very nice people but I'm afraid the standards are just too low for the price.

I got here before the nail salon opened. Have been waiting OVER 30 minutes to get a fill. Keep being told "her friend will do for me". No friend as of 35 minutes. Cruddy customer service. Will not be back again read more

I badly needed to have my nails done after a few days of heavy cleaning I went to Yelp and found Mine Nails which was about 5 minutes from where I was staying. I was satisfied with the positive responses about Lee and his shop. My appointment was at 10 when they opened. In 40 minutes my nails were done perfectly. I had a French manicure with the white tips. The price I paid was perfect too. A good value. I will definitely go back. read more

Okay, I've seen this place many times as I do my laundry right next door for the last couple of years. And it's NEVER busy. Yea I see maybe one or two people go in there, but I've often asked myself: how are they staying in business?? One Friday I decided I just needed a quick trim and paint on my toes. Not looking for anything special, soooo since I'm right here and its 30mins before closing, I'll cheat on my regular pedicure lady this once. I opened the door and asked if I can get a pedicure, again its 30mins before closing so I just wanted to make sure. He said of course and sat me down. These are beautiful, red leather (pleather?) seats, brand new, very comfortable! The only thing missing is your control of what type of massage you want it to give you...come on! give me some buttons to push!! A shy quiet young lady comes out and starts the process. Problem One: The place you put your feet is super high. My ass is fat, so this is sooo not comfotable!! LoL. I understand not wanting to bend way over to attack my toes, but come on! It's like sitting on those little chairs at the beach, thats only about 3 inches off the ground - not the greatest position. Especially when the bottom of the feet need to be down, instead of comfortably relaxed up naturally. Problem Two: My regular lady must have put super glue on that last coat of polish, because the lady had to bust out the tools to scrap some of that glitter crap off. LoL!! So a majority of her time was spent there and I barely got a massage. Totally not her fault! Problem Three: She HAD to be new. Why you ask? The way she put on the polish. It wasn't the professional, three strokes it's covered that I'm used to seeing. I felt like one of my nieces was painting my toes. In the end, instead of closing promptly at 7, the doors were locked at 710pm. I thanked them for letting me come in, gave her a tip in cash. Here when paying with a card, you have to add the tip onto it before it's ran. You don't write it down when signing your name like at other places. $17.00 for a pedicure, wasn't expecting much, didn't get much and won't be going back. They do have really nice new chairs, tables, etc. so they have that going for them. read more

I loved the way my powder gel nails turned out however I only gave 4 stars because she didn't do design I asked her to do. She did cheetah print...again nice but not what I wanted. Pedicure was nice he didn't rush which I liked. I will go back. read more

I got a manicure and a pedicure with gel nail polish. After two days the gel started lifting on my fingernails. By the fourth day they had to be removed. Pedicure is currently holding up. Staff was very nice. Unfortunately I will not be going back for a manicure. read more

Very disappointed in the service at Mine Nails to me it is "not mine" my nails lifted in a week and they always lasted a month at a good salons. I would never recommend letting them use their un-sanitized implements on anyone ever again. Worst of all they spoke to each other in a foreign language, HOW RUDE. This is actually the second disappointing experience I've had at this salon, which is why I felt it was important to leave a review for future customers. The salon itself may work well for others, but I personally left feeling unhappy with the communication, pricing transparency, and final result. I can say the establishment is very clean, cute decor. I come to Mine's every 2 weeks I never have any problems . My nails never break during that time period and I always get compliment everywhere specially at work smh if u haven't tried them or your having problems at your current spot switch it up and come on over to mine nails (mini) on 19th and northern next to circle k you will not be disappointed .....
