I used to go to a salon nearby until service went downhill. I'm glad it did because it lead me to Tiara's! Making an appointment for a pedicure was extremely easy and they were able to get me in at my desired same day time. This salon is smaller than most I've been to. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was immediately ushered to a chair. The man that did my pedicure was very attentive. He was there to ask me about the water temp as well as adjusting the massage chair. I opted for the classic pedicure. I was given a few books to look through to choose from a wide variety of polish colors. The pedicure was quick but thorough. The foot massage was heavily and relaxing. While I was at Tiaras numerous customers came I went. One thing they all had in common was that they seemed like regulars. Everyone was greeted with a smile and a question about how they've been since their last appointment. Everyone was very kind, but unfortunately the quality of service was not good. During my pedicure, the technician used a foot scrubber on my cuticles after using it on the bottom of my foot, which caused a cut that started bleeding. She continued the service and even painted over the bleeding area. I brought it up because the polish didn't look good, and at that point I asked for the polish to be removed. Another technician came over, but the second attempt was nearly the same quality, uneven application with visible air bubbles. They also had me sit in front of a small fan for about 30 minutes to dry, which didn't help much. Despite everything, I was still charged for the service. It's now been about two weeks, and my toe is still healing from the cut. Overall, this was not worth the time or money, and I left concerned about the quality and hygiene practices. read more

Nice people but rushed through our pedicures. We paid for the 45 dollar pedicures and they missed a few steps including cutting cuticles. They also rushed through my polish and it looks extremely uneven and patchy. My biggest complaint is my toe nails are crooked and sharp in some places- they did a terrible job of filing maybe did it for 30 seconds total. This place is fantastic. I loved going to get my nails done with the family that used to run this salon but rest assured, they left this location in very good hands. They can do all the Japan inspired manicures you see on TikTok, instagram and Pinterest like chrome nails, magnetic gel cat eye nails and more. They don't call their manicures Russian but they do pay special attention to cuticle care and incorporate nail bits in a manner somewhat similar to Russian manicures you will literally pay a couple hundred for and these gals do this for a much more affordable price. I'll start with sayung, the staff is so nice, the place is always clean. I feel so comfortable when I go. I have only been to this place 3 times. The first time, my nails last 4 weeks, I went to Hawaii and a cruise wearing the same nails and not one issue. They lasted until I couldn't stand the length anymore. It had to have been at least a full 4 weeks. The second time I went, I got the French on my nails like always. I didnt do a pedicure that time. They lasted a week before they started lifting and I had to add my own nail glue. I waited it out, 3 weeks later, which was last week, I went in again and one of the nails just fell off. I went back thinking maybe it was just an ooops. Well, now it's been twice. So sadly, I'm going to need to return to my other salon. I was excited because salon is within walking distance of my house so it's so convenient, but it seems the nails don't last long enough for it to be worth the money. I tried it 3 times. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The husband sloppily glued the acrylics on and when I asked him to redo them before we went any further with powder and gel he got an attitude but took them off. Before proceeding I let him know that if there was anything he was doing to my nails that I didn't like I was going to let him know because if I'm paying then my nails need to look how I want them to. Just happened to be in this plaza with some time to spare. Haven't had a pedicure in two years so my feet were unpleasant to say the least. Saw this salon and decide to take a chance despite reading some unpleasant reviews and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly lady with a nice smile. The gentleman who did my actual pedicure spent a lot of time and effort to make my feet feel like human feet again. He also made sure my pedicure was dry before helping me put my sandals on. I feel bad because my nail technician was very nice, but she was horrible. Probably one of the worst manicure + pedicures I've ever gotten. Not nearly enough time actually preparing my feet or hands, and about 4 coats of paint for each, which kept smudging I eventually just told her it's ok. It was my first time coming in here today. I came in at 6:05 and they close at 7pm. The guy did my acrylic full set and I told him I wanted it to look natural (square round). They didn't let me pick a color and the shape of my nails were more square, does not look natural at all. He seemed so in a hurry too! I get that it's the last hour but making a client feel like you're in a rush is such a big no no! Plus, his quality of work was just bad. I have gone in two separate times to get my nails done and have been told they are too busy and can I come back? I think I just found another one of my favorite nail salons. I typically have at least 3 top nail salons in different parts of AZ. I was so thankful that they were able to get me in as a walk in especially since it's the day before Thanksgiving Day. I forgot to ask the name of the nail technician who did my acrylics. He was very nice and did such a great job on my nails. I also appreciate him and the other lady that were so attentive with both of my kids. Honestly I like the mom and pops type of vibe I was getting in the salon. And come on girls we know that's usually not the case with nail salons. I know it really was because of the lady and gentleman. I wish I asked for their names. The lady was so sweet and attentive that she sat down in front of my baby and played with her, talked with her, and even put her to sleep by clapping softly with her hands. I told her I'm going to start doing that. For some reason it worked with my tired baby. Now on to my nails I love how they turned out! I got a coffin shape pink and white ombré acrylics with gel on top. I came in showing them a picture of what I was looking to get and they surpassed my expectations. Sadly the pictures just doesn't give them any justice. The process was very relaxing too. And considerate on every step of the way from length to shape. He made sure to ask me if that's what I want. Lastly , before I forget they also do eyebrow waxing and eyelash extensions. My review is only for the nail services, but I can't wait to get back for the other services. I've been coming here for years. My mom treated me to a mani/pedi for my birthday and I ended up having some guy named Vincent do mine. He was fine at first, until he started my manicure. He wanted to do it while I was still sitting in the pedicure chair. Normally I don't mind, but this time I asked him if it could be done at the table. Simply because I'm still recovering from a broken arm and surgery on that arm. That's when he started to get all huffy puffy like it was an inconvenience for him. During the whole manicure his body language showed. Never again do I want him doing my nails. If this was my first time here, I probably wouldn't come back. The white is on the skin on almost every finger, plus overall the skin around was not treated neatly. I won't come back. The business should be definitely a $$ business. This was my go-to salon until recently when I had the experience of making an appointment with a particular nail technician only to be told that somehow it did not get put in their schedule. This happened twice and in both cases the person who was getting the technician I requested seemed to have a more expensive service they were doing. It made me think they took the new customer over a regular customer to get more money. I was disappointed by this and have started looking around for other salons now. This salon is fine if you are a walk-in customer and the prices are good, but if you like a particular technician, you may or may not get them when you actually show up for your appointment. read more

Kim let me come in last minute (6:15 when they close at 7:00 on a Saturday night, she's an angel!!) I had broken my nail pretty badly and my finger was SUPER sensitive. I was sitting there waiting to be in pain when she got to that finger each time and she was so gentle, very mindful of where the split was and didn't hurt me at all.
