I was visiting my cousin during new years, and happened to come across this mail spa. They were friendly, I called ahead to check if I needed to book an appointment but since it was a weekday it wasn't required. I got deluxe pedicure and a regular manicure, and while there were couple options for the deluxe pedi the lady told me there were none, and if I wanted the option I asked for I would need to upgrade. The service was nice and relaxing. I was very excited about my nails, as I got it after almost a year as I was busy at school and didn't find the time, my manicure chipped by night (attached are images of my nails the next day). I tried calling them to ask about it, as it was close to my cousins place I stopped by and the main guy told me regular nail paint chips in 4-5 days but I told him it chipped almost immediately, asked them if I could just get the paint off but he said they will redo it. The same lady was called to redo my nails, but she was visibly and audibly very upset, and throughout the process of redoing my nails kept yelling in her native language. It was pretty insulting and I would not go back. P.S. the second time she did my nails it stayed put for over 10 days magic.
I came in for a fill and a pedicure. I scheduled early morning for a nice chill experience. A very nice female tech started on my nails which were a two week old, new tips, French, perfectly shaped. I told he the shape was perfect just needed them a little shorter. She cleared off the old Polish and trimmed them to the right length. While she was working on me a phone call came in for a group and the guy told them to come in. I was immediately moved to a pedicure chair (I had asked the services be done separately) and told they had to do both at the same time. Also, the nice lady who started my manicure was taken away for the group that came in. A man took over my manicure while another lady did my pedicure. My two week old tips then got filed out of shape, the man was distracted and literally hurt my finger because while he was dremeling a nail and cuticle he turned to look at and say something as some people came in the door. He looked away for several seconds while the dremel was on me!!! So to cut to the end, my nails were misshapen and polish all over my cuticles and put on way too thick. (My toenail Polish was a mess and he seemed upset when I asked him to fix a few nails, clean the polish off my skin.) He asked me what I thought of the manicure and tho I rarely speak this way said "it looks like shite" . He then argued with me during my checkout and told me my cuticles were the problem (not true) and how he knows more than me because he has been doing nails so long. I told him I've been getting my nails professionally done for a long time, and this is the worst. I get everyone has an off day but he argued at me on and on. Never here again. I went because the initial rating was over 4, but after I looked and the actual reviews were not good. Sorry that some good people work there. He was rude, offensive and my nails are a mess.
Love this place! I believe the individual who did my nails was Ricky. He was able to get me in last minute and was able to provide me with exceptional service! I have been looking for a solid nail place that values their customers and I finally found one! 10/10
Having a Vietnamese sister who owns a Nail salon tends to make me a tough customer to please in the manicure / pedicure area. No appointment, I was across the street at PT Pho and looked up closest Nail salon on Yelp, Asana Nail Spa was across the street in the Safeway parking lot on far side of Safeway. I walked in, Nice man greeted me and asked that I check in on their digital pad. A nice lady started water immediately for a pedicure. I chose the 2nd level pedicure Classic I think it was on the Menu, very reasonably priced. I sat back, relaxed and watched the 2 different tv screens facing me with Korean cooking and Chinese cooking shows, very entertaining. Not much conversation during the whole session but not in a rude way, more of a let this guy relax rather than the 30 questions. Pedicure and manicure were both exceptional, buffed both finger and toes to a shine exactly how I liked. We did have some small talk towards the end about cooking style and techniques for Vietnamese cooking, I love to cook. They shared their view on who had the best restaurant around in their opinion since I'm new to the Phoenix area. Going today for lunch their suggestions ( review coming soon) overall shop very clean, friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I will return.
I just needed a regular manicure and clear polish (must have for an event I was attending). I can't have long/faux nails for work so I purposely grew mine for a few weeks until about a 1/4 - 1/2" of white was showing. This was my first experience at a nail salon and there was a misunderstanding with the nail tech. She ended up cutting my nails very short, almost no white showing before I realized what she was doing. The 2 star review is mainly because the white that is showing is very unevenly trimmed/shaped. (Zoom in on the pics) The prices seemed fair and they may do a better job with other services but they didn't do a great job with this simple manicure nor explaining what she was going to do before she cut my nails. Note: I did book an appointment about a week in advance and told them which services I was looking for. We paid and tipped but I left very unhappy.
On 11.20.2022 I got my nails done by a nail tech name Ann. I have gotten my nails done by this salon a couple of times before until I got my nails done by this tech. She did a wonderful job and everyone here is so kind until this day. It has been 2 weeks since my last appointment and had told her I will come back to get my nails done. I had a broken nail so I needed to get a tip as well. She automatically assumed I just needed that one nail did only. The manager there had offered to change out the color and she kept pushing back to do it next week even though I had expressed I'm going on a trip. It felt like she did not want to do the service. As she was doing the service she had a very passive-aggressive way of handling the service. She was aggressive and had drilled down to my cuticle and cut me. The service was not the biggest issue. The issue was with what she stated during the service. She also saw pictures of my son on my phone and stated "wow he is so chunky" and asked to see what my husband looks like and I was very confused about why. It was already on my phone and she stated "wow you look so different" "You were so skinny" "You need to lose weight so you can look like that again" I was getting very uncomfortable. She proceeded to state that "Asian women eat healthily, work out, and take care of their men" Also added that I should lose weight or my husband "will cheat on me and that Mexican men cheat a lot". I cannot make this up! I was so stiff and angry she kept going on with the service so aggressively and I tried to just leave. I as an idiot still paid her and gave her a tip. When I called back to express my frustration the manager advised that I should have stated something right there, refused to give me a refund and offered a discount for the next service, and stated that "oh she just has a strong personality." I am so frustrated and appalled at how someone can be so rude and racist!! There is a difference between having a strong personality and being racist. I will not be coming back to this nail salon. I do not leave reviews and if I do get bad service I let it go and find someone else to do the job better, but this almost had me in tears.
Came here right after work hoping for simple Halloween nails. Workers were nice and personable, but the service was rushed and my nails came out looking horrible. By the time she was finished, it was thirty minutes until close. I didn't want to make her stay and fix them so I tipped 10 dollars and left. I'm so embarrassed to even go in public with these because it looks half asked, I was still pealing glue off my fingers 45 min later, 2 nails came out crooked, and the "ombré" looks nothing like the picture I showed. For reference, I wanted the first picture. The next few pictures is what I got in return. Not to mention I paid $75 including tip for medium square nails. For the same nails in white, I've never paid more than $55 not including tip. I will not be returning unfortunately as this was a basic full set that was harder to mess up than do correctly.
I haven't had a manicure since before the pandemic. I just moved to the area and thought I'd check this place out. They saw me immediately with plenty of workers available. This salon is beautiful, professional, & reasonably priced. Tiffany was so sweet & gentle and did a great job on my gel manicure. I love their tech check in system l, which would be definitely useful on a busy weekend. Will return.
I am beyond thrilled with this nail spa and all of the staff! I called to ask if they could help me fix a few toe nail ms that were badly damaged by a botched pedicure from another spa with acrylic instead of gel. Long story short the tech that damaged my nails used acrylic instead of the gel that I ask for, and because it was not applied correctly, my toe nails beneath were damaged and some of them ripped off! This spa scheduled me the same day I called, I had no wait when I arrived for my appt and I was treated with care and concern. Not only that, this spas techs are very skilled, the lady that helped me is Anne. She repaired most of the damage and was able to apply a gel polish that hid the damaged nails that still needed to grow out on a few toes. Now my toes look and feel amazing! I'd give them 10 stars if I could and I will be back! Added perk, they have brand new pedicure chairs that are clean, comfy and have great massage options! read more

lol, 5 years ago I gave 5 starts. I brought my 3 year old here for her first manicure . I get it's 8$ for a kids polish but wtf, I'm still driving to a salon for a professional experience . There was no line and right as the lady finished she watched Tik tok on her phone so she clearly had time to actually try and put in some effort. Literally one shitty coat, no top coat, no second coat . The top coat didn't even look clean. I do better at home and I am not good! My toddler didn't notice but if I'm going to a salon I figured it would end up looking at least good. read more

Highly do not recommend. I brought my niece for a nail appointment where they barely wanted to file her nails. They only painted her nails and left polish on her skin. My nails are thick, uneven, and poorly polished with residue on my skin. Very disappointed and will not be back. read more

Very nice staff but terrible service. I had an appointment for 4PM. They sat me immediately but just had me sitting there for about 30 min getting my feet soaked. Finally they start to paint my nails and as he started he kept getting up to finish another ladies hands sitting next to me. I just left at 6:06 PM and never got to get my full set. I was charged $70 for a shitty job! Never coming back. read more

I HIGHLY do not recommend this place. First time going and got cut really bad and nails were horrible. Uneven, lumpy and crooked. Asked to fix and clearly never fixed. Seems like they aren't very experienced. Not sure how this is a French tip. So sad i paid $65 for this. read more

This nail salon gave me on okay first impression. I got a full set here and did regular polish-ending up going back in the same day to get gel instead because polish was already coming off. This was my second chance visit and I got a pedicure and a fill with gel. Regular basic pedicure with an amazing massage 25$ and fill $18 (add gel $15) and I left SO HAPPY. I told her my feelings about the first visit and she completely heard me out-apologized and exceeded my expectations. Thank you Bonna I'll be returning just for you. read more

This place the only place I go to to get my claws done. I have never been disappointed after leaving the salon, their prices are amazing...my nails are longer than an inch and they were $50. The place is very clean, good music playing and 2 TV's which they play yummy food videos on. I have been going here for about a year and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Ricky the owner is amazing!!! read more

Loved this place snd it was the only one I went to. 9 of ten toenails have fungus snd on the day I took this the tech went to grab an instrument to dig sound my toenails off a tray that had been sitting there when I came in and sat in the chair for twenty minutes waiting for someone. It was not sanitized. First she argued with me then they are curd with each other very aggressively in Vietnamese then she walks over snd gets a set of implements out of the cupboard that were in a sterilized package like I'm going to let her continue. The one star rating is because it would not post with zero stars I liked this place a lot but I'm done for good. Had one big toenail completely removed and doctor said it will take 6 months for the rest. That cost $1200. read more

Thursday 4/18/2924 I had a regular pedicure & Shellac/Gel manicure. The pedicure was fine, the manicure a complete disaster. On Friday less than 24 hrs later one shellac polished nail was completely gione. Returned to Asana where they refused to redo all the nails. I kept asking how can I trust others won't fail. The female tech redid one nail & touched up the others. Saturday two more Shellac nails were completely gone & now 4 days later a total of 4 gel nails are gone & 1 chipped off. $64 + tip out the window. The tech also cut the nails as short as possible.None of the polished nails even looked good from the start. The nails were done for a wedding & I had to go with missing polish on the nails that two days earlier I had just paid for. I will never return to Asana. I've never had Shellac polish fail like this. Nothing was used on my hands out of the ordinary, did not use any cleaning products or anything else. Very disappointed in the service & the lack of caring about the crappy job. They didn't even apologize for the first failed nail. Stay away from Asana as it is a huge waste of money and they don't back up their service. Normally it is almost impossible to remove gel, but these came off as if fake nails had been glued on. I have no idea what the Tech did or did not do, but either she didn't know what she was doing or it was bad product. Asana was the worst nail experience I have ever had. Nail salons are a dime a dozen. Do yourself a favor & go elsewhere. read more

Excellent service and really awesome staff! Got my back waxed and a pedicure to get ready for an upcoming vacation. Waxing room was tidy and private. Even spoke with owner who was incredibly friendly and made sure all my needs were met. I've already booked my next waxing appointment! read more

I think this is going to be a long one.. I normally wouldn't not pick every detail of my nail service. However since this particular incident was SO bad. I'm going to walk through it. I would not have come to this place had I read the reviews. My sister in law came here and said they were rude to her, but did a "decent" job. I was out of town visiting Phoenix and didn't have a car. So I decided I didn't really care if they were nice and I wouldn't engage in conversation. I just wanted my nails done and hopefully done right. My first red flag when I should have walked out was the dirty mail files. She had a big file that had been so used the color had changed in areas because it was so worn, she had a smaller black one that had some use but wasn't as loved on as the big one. I asked for pointed tips and she was having trouble making them happen. So she was holding these dirty nail files flush to my skin and the nail and I swear she was filing more on my skin than the nails. I kept telling her it was painful and ON MY SKIN. She would pause or move to another nail but then resume filing my skin. She removed all the outer skin and hard cuticle I had on the side of my thumb and left me with raw exposed cuticle. She also kept running over the very thin skin at the bottom of my pinky finger with the big and coarse drill. Again I kept telling her she was hurting me and same thing. She kept doing it. Until I bled. All of my fingers hurt to be touched up to five days. The vibe also hit really uncomfortable because I was continually telling her she was hurting me and she hit super quiet and was clearly agitated. I will never return to this place next time I'm in Phoenix. Stay away. I'd my sister in law doesn't write her review I will be coming back with a little summary of what she experienced there. read more
