I called ahead specifically asking for someone who could do nail designs, and they told me they would assign me to someone who could. When I arrived, I was placed with Lisa, showed her a simple Valentine's Day design with little hearts, and she wasn't able to do it. When I politely told her I didn't like how it was coming out, she got visibly upset and made me feel bad for speaking up. I ended up asking for regular French tips instead, and she did them with such a bad attitude. The tips are almost see-through, rushed, and honestly look nothing like the quality I'm used to here. I recently visited this salon, and unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. After getting my nails done, I was very disappointed to find that they looked messy and poorly done. I called the salon a few hours later to express my concerns, and while I appreciated that they offered to fix the issue the next day, the experience that followed was upsetting. When I returned for my appointment, I was taken aback by the manager's reaction. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, I was yelled at in front of other customers, which made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. I had hoped for a resolution and a chance to have my nails corrected, but instead, I left feeling more frustrated than before. The woman who did my pedicure was extremely rough from start to finish. She cut me multiple times. When I would move or wince in pain, she would shake her head. The massage was so rough it was painful. Also, the tools they use are just on a little cart - there's no evidence to show they've been cleaned between customers. I have been going to this salon (or its sister salon) for nearly five years. Lin is always professional and kind. I am in disbelief of any review that says the owner "yelled" at them. In the entire five years I have never once heard Lin raise her voice. She always accommodates customer requests and fixes any issues free of charge in my experience. Prices are discussed at the time of service. Her prices are reasonable and customary for the area. The majority of the nail providers in the shop do speak Vietnamese, however they all understand English and most speak English as well. In response to some of the poor reviews: What kind of weird paranoia makes someone use Google translate during a nail appointment?? I agree that speaking poorly of a customer in another language is rude, however what prompted that discussion? People receive the respect they give. Maybe look in the mirror? The lack of ability to embrace people of all cultures is shocking to me. What people perceive as rude behavior is more likely a language barrier. Vietnamese people are much more soft spoken than Americans. Everyone in this shop is kind to customers. If you have an issue, it will be addressed immediately and professionally if you are willing to say something at the time of service. It is so easy to be critical after the fact and leave a poor review when you have not bothered to bring up an issue and provided a chance to correct the problem. Best nail salon I've found in the area! I travel about 20 minutes to come to this salon. The inside is modern, minimalist, & extremely clean. I came here with a friend for a pedicure. They got us in same day! I believe I got the deluxe with gel polish, unsure of the name but it came with everything you could want in a pedicure. My feet were baby smooth afterwards. I got this pedicure over a month ago and the gel polish has not chipped at all! Since I got the pedicure I have been on vacation, walking in sand, hiking several times and you couldn't even tell it wasn't just done if my nails hadn't grown out. I won't go anywhere else! I enjoyed my pedicure so much I stayed to get my nails done. Staff was so sweet and had great patience. I had a hard time picking a color/design and she offered suggestions and let me take my time. This salon is large, it would be great for groups or parties. They could easily take care of a full bridal party. Seats I shared pictures of were along both walls. Please don't go here!! After my experience I am probably going to have to go to the doctor! Left bleeding with no polish and they still made me pay. I would post a picture of the huge gash on the side of my toe nail but it's too graphic. The lady was trying to make my wound stop bleeding with cuticle remover!!! After it wouldn't stop bleeding I told them I don't think I should get any polish and she then made me pay, I get I took up some of their time but it was maybe 15 minutes she was in such a rush and I feel like I shouldn't have to pay for what she did to me!! Urgh!! It also doesn't seem like they use a new set of tools for each customer. I loved this place I don't know what happened to it, I didn't recognize any of the workers today. Honestly, my experience there was not the best I was charged $75 for powder nails with a tip and I got French nails with my manicure. I got the classic pedicure that's $30 but they charged me $15 extra for gel. My total that I spent there was $120 when I did the math they overcharged me at least five dollars for my manicure when I called them to ask why my pedicure was so expensive they told me they charged me 15 extra dollars for me to get Gel. The math isn't mathing and I tipped 10$ for my pedicure and 10$ for my manicure. Won't be back. read more
