This place was recommended by my coworker, and I have to say that the first time I came, I was happy with the results. The second time, however, they had me waiting well past my appointment time, even though they knew I was there during my lunch break. I was passed from one nail technician then back to Lisa, the technician who was originally recommended to me. Unfortunately, my nails started breaking just three days later, and I ended up having to remove the acrylic set myself. The shape was uneven, and overall, the nails looked poorly done and sloppy. I decided to give them another chance today and came in for a new set. I specifically told Lisa multiple times that I like my nails long and skinny. She acknowledged my request but still gave me her version of "long and skinny," which was not what I asked for. Instead, they turned out short and bulky and completely opposite of what I asked for. To make matters worse, the polish application looks like something I could have done myself at home. There was an air bubble on my nails and Lisa also applied three coats of polish trying to correct it, but the finish is still patchy and full of imperfections. I really wanted to support this business because of the recommendation, but after multiple disappointing experiences, I don't feel the quality, attention to detail, or customer service justify the price. After giving them several chances, I won't be coming back. Not to mention, Lisa had the audacity to ask for a tip at the end of the appointment. Tipping is meant to reward good service and quality work. Despite the poor results during my previous visit, I still tipped her. After this experience, I found it inappropriate to be asked for a tip again when my concerns were ignored and the work was not completed as requested. read more

I've been coming to this salon for months and always considered myself a loyal customer, but today was really disappointing. I called ahead specifically asking for someone who could do nail designs, and they told me they would assign me to someone who could. When I arrived, I was placed with Lisa, showed her a simple Valentine's Day design with little hearts, and she wasn't able to do it. When I politely told her I didn't like how it was coming out, she got visibly upset and made me feel bad for speaking up. I ended up asking for regular French tips instead, and she did them with such a bad attitude. The tips are almost see-through, rushed, and honestly look nothing like the quality I'm used to here. I usually visit when I'm in town to get my nails done, but yesterday was a complete waste of time and money. First of all, both my big thumb and the nail in the picture popped off within less than 24 hours of my visit. I was there only yesterday, and the lady who did my pedicure didn't even bother to scrub my feet. After she painted my nails, she pulled out a nail file and started scrubbing the back of my big toe. I realized she hadn't scrubbed my feet at all, so essentially, she just removed the gel I had on before and repainted my nails. Which painting my toe nails is something I could have easily done at home, not to mention her unnecessary attitude. She didn't even hand me the pedicure menu, she just assumed I wanted the cheapest one. Yet, I received even less than that. Secondly, I got gel X on my nails, and two of them popped off during the drive home. I had to use my own kit at home to fix them, which was a complete waste of money. Even though the lady was nice that does not distract from the fact that the nails were breaking off literally the next day. I recently visited this salon, and unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. After getting my nails done, I was very disappointed to find that they looked messy and poorly done. I called the salon a few hours later to express my concerns, and while I appreciated that they offered to fix the issue the next day, the experience that followed was upsetting. When I returned for my appointment, I was taken aback by the manager's reaction. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, I was yelled at in front of other customers, which made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way I was treated was unacceptable. I had hoped for a resolution and a chance to have my nails corrected, but instead, I left feeling more frustrated than before. The massage was so rough it was painful. Also, the tools they use are just on a little cart - there's no evidence to show they've been cleaned between customers. They got us in same day! I believe I got the deluxe with gel polish, unsure of the name but it came with everything you could want in a pedicure. My feet were baby smooth afterwards. I got this pedicure over a month ago and the gel polish has not chipped at all! Since I got the pedicure I have been on vacation, walking in sand, hiking several times and you couldn't even tell it wasn't just done if my nails hadn't grown out. I won't go anywhere else! I enjoyed my pedicure so much I stayed to get my nails done. Staff was so sweet and had great patience. I had a hard time picking a color/design and she offered suggestions and let me take my time. This salon is large, it would be great for groups or parties. They could easily take care of a full bridal party. Seats I shared pictures of were along both walls. I have been going to this salon (or its sister salon) for nearly five years. Lin is always professional and kind. I am in disbelief of any review that says the owner "yelled" at them. In the entire five years I have never once heard Lin raise her voice. She always accommodates customer requests and fixes any issues free of charge in my experience. Prices are discussed at the time of service. Her prices are reasonable and customary for the area. The majority of the nail providers in the shop do speak Vietnamese, however they all understand English and most speak English as well. In response to some of the poor reviews: What kind of weird paranoia makes someone use Google translate during a nail appointment?? I agree that speaking poorly of a customer in another language is rude, however what prompted that discussion? People receive the respect they give. Maybe look in the mirror? The lack of ability to embrace people of all cultures is shocking to me. What people perceive as rude behavior is more likely a language barrier. Vietnamese people are much more soft spoken than Americans. Everyone in this shop is kind to customers. If you have an issue, it will be addressed immediately and professionally if you are willing to say something at the time of service. It is so easy to be critical after the fact and leave a poor review when you have not bothered to bring up an issue and provided a chance to correct the problem. Honestly, my experience there was not the best I was charged $75 for powder nails with a tip and I got French nails with my manicure. I got the classic pedicure that's $30 but they charged me $15 extra for gel. My total that I spent there was $120 when I did the math they overcharged me at least five dollars for my manicure when I called them to ask why my pedicure was so expensive they told me they charged me 15 extra dollars for me to get Gel. The math isn't mathing and I tipped 10$ for my pedicure and 10$ for my manicure. Won't be back. read more
