It has been a while since I have gone to a nail salon to get my nails done because I have short nails, but we are heading to a wedding the following weekend and I wanted to have pretty nails so I went in to get acrylics. I made an appointment and arrived. It was a husband and wife team working and the wife was the one that did my nails. Since I'm not very familiar with acrylics, she was asking me if I wanted to put just tips or the whole nail. I was confused and so she was showing me the difference. Since I just wanted a French manicure, I told her I just wanted the tips then. She then proceeded to tell her husband in Vietnamese that she shouldn't have given me the option because I ended up choosing the less expensive of the two. Now let me preface that I am Asian, Vietnamese to be exact. So I can understand everything that she was saying. I don't know why she didn't think that I could possibly understand what they were saying, but whatever reason she clearly did not think that I was Vietnamese. Was I super happy with my nails at the end of the day? It was just all right. I feel like the powder she put on made my nails look super thick and very fat and wide at the ends. Aside from not being too excited about my nails, the one star was because of the fact that her and her husband talked crap about every person in that salon and the people who were calling in to make appointments. I hate when they do this. They even complained about me, when they did my pedicure. They complained about the two ladies who left while I was there and how they were cheap and did not tip very well and scoffed at them about it. They complained about the older lady who finished her manicure and pedicure, and asked if she could get her eyebrows done saying that lady was needy and they will just get it done real fast just to get more money. And Nicole? If you are the Nicole that called in asking if you could come in on that Saturday for a manicure anytime after 10 AM and after putting you on hold for about five minutes and coming back and letting you know that they could do 11 AM or 2 PM and you chose the 2 PM. They proceeded to complain about you too about why you didn't choose the 11 AM if that option was there considering you said it needed to be after 10 AM. They said you could've saved them a lot of time if you just said you could come in at 2 PM instead of saying anytime after 10 AM because then they wouldn't have to figure out their schedule and figure a proper time that they could fit you in. Also, while she was doing my nails, it was very clear that her and her husband were playing some kind of video game on their cell phones, which involved farming or something because you gather stuff to get coins. She would literally do my nails with one hand and go feed her cows or whatever before the time ran out and she wouldn't get her coins. It got to the point where she would tell her husband to get on her phone and farm for her. He also was on his phone doing his own farming so they would argue about not helping each other out. Anyhow, any salon can do the most beautiful nails, but I would never come back knowing that all they do is talk crap about their customers in Vietnamese. If you frequent this place and think you're a favorite customer, I would think again. There were ladies walking out that they knew them by name. and would say see you next time and the minute they walked out would say something negative. read more

David and Rose are a wonderful team. They are always able to fit me in and have always done a wonderful job.

The owners were pleasant enough, but it felt rushed. The shop felt a bit cluttered. But they did do a good job on my pedicure and it has lasted well. Might or might not go back as a last resort when my regular salon is unavailable. read more

This was my second visit (both during COVID). Appointment only, husband and wife team, they strictly enforce masks, distancing (only 2 customers in shop at a time) and they actively clean in between customers. They're awesome - I got a gel mani and a regular pedi with callus removal and my feet are super happy right now (the pedi also includes hot stone/massage). Their pedicure massage chairs are terrific! Called and made an appointment, I went in and got gel builder. The nails were ok not great not horrible just average, but the service felt very rushed the instruments didn't look very clean and the nail techs did not talk to me or say anything to make me feel comfortable the whole service they were talking to someone else it was very awkward for a first experience there. Glad I didnt get the pedicure after seeing the place it is not very nice or clean for the area that its in. read more

I've been going to the same place to get my pedicures for pretty much the last 4 years.. and while it's expensive, the service is mediocre at best. This time I decided to try somewhere new.. and I am sooo glad I did. This place is by appointment only, but it was easy when I called Wednesday for a Saturday afternoon appointment. Got me right in. So here I am. While not the prettiest place, that's not what I'm here for. The service was quick and they were efficient and nice. They have several options for a pedicure and I went with the most expensive, which is very well priced. The attention to detail is wonderful and I am so happy with the outcome. Nails look good, feel good, and never once did I feel rushed or a burden. Will be coming back, and highly recommend. read more

Absolutely love this salon! They always get me in the day I'm wanting to. Super clean, friendly, professional. There are tons of colors to choose from, and they gladly let me take my time to pick one (and even remained patient when I changed my mind! Lol). I got a regular manicure with a gel color and was charged only $27?! With how freakin good my nails look, that price paired with the service I received is a steal! [last time I got a gel manicure was a month ago in Florida and they charged me $40...] 10/10 recommend coming to this place! I will for sure keep coming back. The first time I went here I only got an eyebrow and lip wax, and was very satisfied. Today I went in to get Gel manicure, pedicure, eyebrow and lip wax. They are GREAT! Love love love my gel nails. I can't rave about this nail place enough! They do such an excellent job and my nails lasted for 3.5 weeks! Actually they are still on and intact! Very clean and professional as well! Several months later: my gel polish started to chip and I came here to get it fixed. The day I came, they said they were too busy- fine. I walked in and realize now I was lucky to get a pedi and white tip set. Husband and wife work hard. They tagged team both my nails and pedicure-she started, he finished. They turned away a person saying it would be an hour wait so appt is recommended. Maybe some days they have more people working there but this was Saturday and it was just them. The pedi was nice-I wasn't offered anything special so I guess I had the basic and it included a hot stone massage. It was enjoyable but nothing to write home about. The chairs are great-really felt the rollers on my back and it felt goooodddd. Nails are extremely just okay. Bubbles in the gel and I had to file off the bits and pieces left on the sides of the nails. And a couple of them are beginning to come up in the corners already. Neighborhood is so bad, they keep the door locked and have to let their customer (I'm the only one in there) in. The nail tech was very jumpy, constantly looking at the door if she heard any noise outside or anyone walking by. The inside is unappealing, dusty chairs and cluttered. Dead silent, no music or TVs like most salons. The pedicure chairs had no liners (GROSS). And to top it all off, a customer called to complain about the nails she had had done there and I had to listen to the two nail techs gripe about the customer's complaints for over 30 minutes. Staff is friendly. Price is very affordable. Store is clean. Stumbled into DHH after a day of basketball. My feet were torn up and hurting. I got the $25 pedicure that include callous removal. Finally found my nail salon! This is a great mom and pop place, literally, it's just a husband and wife duo but they're quick, efficient and know their nails. Love this little salon I didn't make an appointment, but because of covid spots were extremely limited (only took appointment. But they were able to take me and seat me within 5 minutes. I got a basic white gel pedi and the lady did so good. Then one of the male workers came over and gave me a stone rock massage. Super friendly! Such a sweet family owned place. WOW I have so many wonderful things to say about this place. I've been going to the same place since I was 15 to get my nails done, I since moved and have been hesitant to try anywhere else. I finally broke out of my shell and tried a place right by my house, absolutely terrible. At this point I was so nervous to try anywhere else.. however I figured I'd give it a try I came across "dhh nails & spa" online and thought I'd give it a try as I'm desperate to get my nails done on my only day off. I called to make an appointment and they were very pleasant, I made my appointment for 6, one hour before they close and they had no problem taking me! I got the dip powder manicure. Never once was I rushed, they took their time to get the old gel off which can hurt if rushed, I really appreciate that. My nails took about an hour and a half, which a good gel dip powder typically does and not once did they rush or complain that it was after hours. So happy I finally found a place I like, actually LOVE. I will be returning they are simply amazing :) they deserve 10 stars!!!! read more
