This place is the ONLY place I will go to, to get my nails done. I have been going to VIP since they opened and Andy has always gone above and beyond to make sure I have a great experience. I bring all of my friends here as well, and once they've tried it, they never go back another nail salon. Additionally, not sure what people are talking about in their negative reviews..... Andy and the entire team speak great English, and we have sat there and had many conversations, cracking jokes, talking about real estate, kids, dogs, the stock market....... It's been years since I tried this nail salon out and I really wanted to love it because it's close by but I got an infection in my toe after my pedicure. I also took my daughters there and it's totally my fault for just assuming, but they don't have kid pricing apparently. There was nothing special about the pedicures and it was expensive for a 5 year old and 8 year old to get a basic pedicure. Thank goodness I'm the only one that got an infection. I've paid less at higher end nail salons and gotten a better pedicure and not an infection in my toe, so I don't recommend this place. read more

I attempted to receive nail services at this salon as a walk-in. My first question to the front desk was, "Do you have a price sheet I may look at?" At the time, they did not have the prices posted on the walls or anywhere in the front of the salon, so the front desk associate went to the back of the salon to bring forward a LAMINATED price sheet. She then inquired about the salon service I was seeking; to which, I responded with, "I'm interested in either a dip manicure or a full-set depending on prices." The price sheet she handed me listed both services in the $50-$55 range; $50 for a full-set. After taking some time (more than five minutes, no doubt) to look up nail-inspiration photos on my phone and then showing her a picture of a simple nude-colored, almond-shaped manicure with a thin-lined French-tip design, the associate said, "Yes, we can do that for you. It'll be $60 for the long nail, and about $15 for the design. Altogether, it'll be about $75" I was slightly taken aback, because that was $25 more than what the price sheet conveyed. She must've noticed my surprise, because she then said, "This sheet doesn't show our price changes. Everything is about $5 more than what they're listed for here." At that point, I said, "I'm not so sure now, because you first handed me these as the prices and are only now (after 15mins have gone by) mentioning that there has been a price increase to the services listed, and...," then, she abruptly dismissed me by cutting me off mid-sentence with an, "Ok! Thanks!" while quickly removing the price sheet from the counter in front of me. I'm thankful she revealed the salon's true colors before I spent our hard earned money there. If you are a person who values and appreciates genuine customer service, this establishment is not for you. Seek services elsewhere. read more

I treated myself to a hot wax pedicure yesterday. It was awesome and my feet and nails look fantastic. The only downside was that a woman brought her boys who were young and did not want to be confined. This is no fault of VIP but it sure made my treat to myself less relaxing. This has not been the case in previous visits so hoping just my bad luck for yesterday. This is the only nail salon I keep going back to. I have tried others but not as satisfied with the results. Suggest bringing cash as they do pass on the credit card fees if you use a card. read more

1 star for the guy's excellent English. Most of these nail saloons employ people you can hardly understand. Prices are not posted in the store. They make up their prices on the go. What seemed like harmless discussion at first, turned out to be an investigation: where do you live, do you rent or own, what do you work, etc. After finding out I was only in town for a weekend event and unlikely to return any time soon, they charged me $50 for a regular fill! Outrageous! I pay $50 in Beverly Hills for a complete build! Well, I learnt my lesson. Never share information with these kinds of people and ALWAYS confirm the price first! read more

Love VIP Nails! My daughter & I have seen Andy, Amy, & Henry for acrylic, gel, and pedicures. Small, quiet, not too crowded. Even with an appt, sometimes you have to wait about 20 minutes, but definitely worth the wait, good shaping of nails if you want almond, coffin, etc., nice polish work, and nice filing with acrylic all the way to the back of the nail. So far so good. The first time I went I had John for my pedicure and he did such an awesome job. I will ask for him by name when I need another pedicure. I then had a full set of nails by How (sp?) and they were done very nicely. I had a little extra product under the tips of the nails but I took care of most of it. I went back about 3.5 weeks later and had Amy for a fill. She did an awesome job. I really love them. read more

I love this place! I've been to lots of nail salons around the valley, and this has ALWAYS been my favorite. The people are so super nice, they always have movies playing, and their pedi packages are the best! I always get the deluxe because it's sooooo worth the money. Spa services aside, for a pedi, the polish always stays forever and rarely chips. Not sure about finger nails, I always get gel on my fingers to insure it won't chip. I used to drive soo far to get here, but now that I live close it is so awesome! Never had a complaint, and best in the valley! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! The worst manicure I've ever gotten in my life. None of them speak good English, so when I tried to explain I didn't like them they didn't know what I was talking about. They tell you one price and they switch it up on you and overcharge you when you go to pay. They don't care what you want all they want is money. The owner Andy is rude!!!! they all just walk up and leave you waiting and they overbook like crazy. Go here if you want to wait two hours to get your nails done, it takes forever to get in. Even if you make an appointment, they will make you wait. They screwed up my nails and I have an infection now underneath the nail! Super loved this place the first few times I went. The staff is nice, although a little rougher with my hands than I prefer. But whatever gets the job done. They charge extra to use a debit card and the prices were a little higher than I'm used to, but not high enough for me to be mad about it. The last two times I've gone, my nails haven't lasted as well as they did the first few times. I'm new to the area, so I'll be checking out some other salons to see what else is out there. read more

Called first thing in the morning for a 4pm appointment for two pedicures and a SNS manicure. When we got there at 3:50 there were two people doing manicures and two doing pedicures, 4 people waiting. Then two more people walked in and were told no problem we can take care of you. By 4:30 the group of four decided to catch an early dinner then come back. We were finally taken back around 4:40. My mother-in-laws tech cut one of her toes. My guy was so aggressive, he hurt my toes. Was amazed I wasn't bleeding. My daughter was the most unfortunate with her SNS manicure. She felt the tech was new. She cut one nail to the length my daughter approved of. Then cut the rest shorter then that one. So she then picked the shortest one and matched the rest. Taking all the length my daughter wanted away. She was way too aggressive with the drill and nail file. Drew blood from 4 fingers. My daughter's fingers hurt all night. We will never go back to this place again. read more

I had my nails done at VIP nails about two weeks ago. They had a new guy in the shop and two days after he did my nails they started cracking and breaking off. This is the first time this has ever happened. I have been a very long customer at VIP nails! I was shocked that they did not stand behind their product. I felt they should've at least reduced my next service but the owner just said to me you need to come in earlier and let me know this has happened. To me, as a business owner, this is totally unacceptable! My company stands behind our product. The owner of VIP nails should've stood behind his product! They were not apologetic and they were training the man who ruined my nails prior to this visit as the next technician was working on my nails. I will never go to VIP nails again! read more

I had gotten a gift card, and went to them for a pedicure. When I got home I inspected my feet. and OMG the WORST pedicure I ever got. Half of my left pinky toe was polished and the other half was not. Still had all the rough dead peeling skin on heels and sides of big toes, I had to do it myself to remove the dead rough skin. I wish I would have examined them better before I left, I would have never given a tip. I will never go back nor recommend them. read more
