V's Nail Salon is hands down the only place I'll go for nails. My daughter and I came in for a full set and pedicure, and we both left so happy! The whole team is incredibly friendly, helpful, and really accommodating. It's got that welcoming vibe where they remember you and genuinely care that you're happy with the results. Evenings can get a bit busy, so I'd recommend making an appointment if you can--but even if you walk in, they'll find a way to get you in without much of a wait. Vicky is especially amazing--she'll help recommend colors or styles if you're unsure and always has a great eye for what looks good. Nail polish is streaky and you can see where the second coat didn't cover the first. The nail tech also cut my cuticles to where they bled and said it was because of a hang nail. They're very nice, but this service felt rushed and I didn't have a quality manicure. read more

These people will bully you into getting the most expensive treatments. I almost had to beg to get gel nails (way cheaper and better for your nails, you can remove it at home and save money) they wouldn't listen and DEMANDED I get the most expensive-- the dip powder. It's impossible to remove without going back and paying more money. I was so tired of going there (they also play weird shit you're forced to watch while you're there) that my natural nail ripped off DUE TO their forcefulness to get the stupid "dip powder". TERRIBLE- I went here because my best friend and her mother goes here plus many people say to go here. Best job ever.. NOPE! Unless you're a Regular good luck. I asked for a certain lady to do my nails and she did not. The same girl that did my pedicure who cut The bottom of my foot is the same one who did my nails also. The nails are way too skinny for my actual finger and the design did not come out correct either. Giving 2 stars because the lady who helped me was very sweet and the inside was beautiful. Unfortunately I'm on giving 2 stars because this is probably the worst gel manicure I've ever gotten. After I was done I did my basic day to day errands and already saw my nails chipping. I've never had gel nails chip like this. Very disappointing and I'm hoping they will at least last long enough for the event that I got them done for! I was luck enough to find a matching nail polish to "correct" the issue which is why I'm not posting a picture because you won't be able to see very well with my camera. Basically if you're getting a gel manicure make sure you find a color that's easy to find in the store. Really disappointed and will not be returning here. She spread polish on my hands with the remover then claimed it was the polish, not the dirty cotton. It disappoints me to leave this review because the first couple times I went here, I had a fairly good experience. The nail techs are always friendly and I like the environment compared to most nail salons. They are never busy which is a nice change of pace from the hectic nail salons in used to. However, I went and got just a regular french gel mani last week and within days, it started chipping and peeling off. I didn't want to go back and waste more of my time to have them fixed but I figured I might as well get my money's worth and have them make it right. I went back today and they nicely agreed to fix them but again, they did a terrible job. The gel has holes in the clear coat -- like it's rough instead of smooth and when you look at them, you can tell it looks wrong. I thought I found a nail place I loved but I guess I'll need to continue my search or just give up getting my nails done for awhile. read more

Visiting Arizona from California, I looked up nail saloons near me on Yelp. This salon has a 4 rating and I choose it for pedicure walk-in service. COVID SAFE - it was comforting to see that the workers wore masks the entire time. But none of the customers wore masks. Not one of them - only me. I don't know the mask rule for Arizona, for October 2021, but majority of the general public definitely did not wear masks. ESTABLISHMENT - the place was very well kept, was very clean and looked like it was new or had been recently remodeled. It had maybe 12 new high back, reclining comfy chairs. However, my chair did not work and this was reflected in my rating and in my tip as they did not make an effort to move me to a working chair. STAFF- for the most part the staff was not talkative - which is how I like it!!! TREATMENT - the service and treatment I received was great. I had the gentleman who was appropriately gentle and rough. I felt like he was rushing through my service but it was still professionally done. I got the max treatment and was very pleased. Okay so I wasnt going to post a yelp review originally, I was just going to post on my private social media however, im currently being told I can't have my money back without taking down my posts as the owner did a horrible job this past Sunday. My husband and I made an appointment and still waited 45 min to start. After 45 min of waiting and almost walking out they sat us and we thought everything would be fine. Wrong. My husband and I wanted to be together and they separated us and even acknowledged this and kept saying they'd move him and never did then convinced us to get him a pedicure while waiting for my nails even tho he wanted to sit with me. His services were fine he even got wine with his pedicure! Mine however were terrible. I'm 5 months pregnant and im technically on bed rest so we chose this salon since its on the corner of our house and I didnt have to go far, I dont get my nails done ever so i don't know terminology for what I wanted and brought a photo to make it easier. The owner Vicky did my nails and said she could do them which was fine she even looked at my photo several times for reference. Well when she began putting on the acrylic tips she didn't trim my natural nail and left it overgrown and long which is really uncomfortable, then she ended up giving them some shape that im not even sure has a term because they aren't pointed and they aren't fully rounded or squared they're like a combo of all of them somehow. They were supposed to be matte and theyre glossy, one hand is short nails and the other have long ones, the dip didnt go to the end of my nail bed so they look outgrown right off the bat and the sides aren't painted so there's missing paint on several nails. The dip stained my fingers for two days and it wasn't thinned so they look bubbled up and super thick. I called after going home and looking at them and realizing how terrible they were and explained I cant go back in to get them redone as im on bedrest and sat for over 2 hours for the first time. The owner claimed not to be the owner on the phone even though she stated her name off the bat and then tried offering a gift card or me to come back. When I said I just wanted my money back to have them removed another time she got mad and argued with me and hung up several times. She then took my card info writing it down instead of putting it into the card reader claiming she would refund me my money for my nails which was all I wanted not a refund for my husband's services, and then never refunded me my money. I called days later asking what happened and she said she will not refund my money unless I remove my social media photos, I told her I have every right to post what I please on my own social media so she told me I would not receive my money without removing my post. I told her I'd speak to the BBB and she said that's fine. So now she has my card info written down which is illegal and is basically trying to blackmail me with my refund for the removal of my post. I've been in contact with non emergency regarding them having my card info written down and made a report so that if my card gets used without it being me they will know who used it and will press charges. I really didn't plan on things being this ridiculous and having to be taken so far. I just wanted a nice day out with my husband instead of seeing the inside of my bedroom and when that was ruined I simply asked for my money back which was apparently asking too much as this business only cares about the money they make. After every client they ask how much the person tipped, literally every single client and they talk shit about the low tips. One of the techs sat down with a girl next to me to do a French manicure and didn't know how so they left the girl there and told her to wait for the owner who was doing mine bcuz the owner is the only one tht knows how to do a French manicure, and thats what they told this girl. Im not sure how they're operating still and have any good reviews, I dont even go to nail salons and I know that you should probably know basic styles. read more
