I am so upset! So I got my eyelashes done for the first time at on mother day weekend I went for a refill that should of cost me 30 but she charged me 50 and she cut my fucking hair!!! My son called the cops and I'm thankful because this is some bullshit! I will follow through. They also gave me info on the cosmothology association My hair is my signature, she chopped it! They don't even do hair there! She did it while I was on that table doing my lashes and she didn't even do the single ones she was suppose to, I'll post pictures! Why on earth would anybody do that?! Only reason I ended up here was because my usual place was closed and my experience was painful and horrible. I asked for my acrylics to be taken off and knowing how it's properly done I assumed she was going to do an acetone soak but instead she ripped my nails off with a nail file basically tearing the top layer of all my nails off. It was so bad I decided against getting my nails done, I didn't want her to touch me anymore than necessary after that. And after realizing she wasn't getting a tip her entire attitude changed and she practically threw my change at me. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

This place is terrible they wouldn't take my girlfriend because they were busy! Why would that matter if we were willing to wait? I've always had a difficult time finding a nail salon that knows exactly why I want each and every time. My sister and myself stumbled on this nail salon about a year ago, and we haven't gone anywhere else since. Candy, is amazing. She feels like family & is always there to listen to my life drama. Unfortunately she is not the new owner which makes me sad. I went in two weeks ago to get my usual pedicure and fill.... Ann did a great job on my pedicure. Both ladies there were so friendly and made you feel like you knew them already. Very welcoming. Pricing is good. They didn't talk to each other a lot in another language which is awesome because that makes most people self concious that you're being talked about! I will go back there for sure. read more

I have been coming here since the first week it opened...Lisa was great then Candy her niece took over & it was wonderful. Now a new owner has taken over..no prices posted anywhere. She is very expensive more than twice what I usually paid here for the same services. I think she just quotes an amount she thinks she get out of you ! Sorry I won't be coming back. This place is seriously amazing! I go there all the time to get my eyebrows waxed. Candy is the absolute best. She is super kind and she shapes my eyebrows to look natural and not in a way that makes me appear older than I am. For only 10 dollars, talk about a steal!!!! Never again, i came here to get my nails put back on and a pedicure. By the time my pedicure was done. I couldn't get out the front door fast enough. In the 40 minutes it took them to complete my pedi. I didnt get to relax at all, i spent the whole time listening to them try to sell me products I NEEDED! And other services that over and over i denied. Then as i was paying and she ran my card for the worst $40 pedi ive ever had, while still trying to sell me products. She handed me the slip to sign looked right at me as said this is were you put my TIP! I came here because they had a good rating and is a family run buisness... Never again. They are scammers. I went into this salon on a slow weekday. Only 1 other person in salon. I was seated at the station closest to the front counter. Befor the lady started working on my nails i reached down into my purse & set my wallet sticking out with my debit card propped up for easy access so that it was easy to get to AFTER my nails were done. My purse was stiing in the floor to the right of me. The older lady that was doing my nails greeted 2 girl's that came into the salon. She said she knew them & they worked at Wal-Mart across the street. They stood behind my chair as she carried on a conversation in another language with them. She then got up in the middle of doing my nails & started giving me a neck & back massage that lasted about 1 min.. I thought it was extrememly strange behavior but went with it. Then she sat back down & finished my nails. When i went to grab my card that was sticking out of my wallet, it was gone! No where to be seen. What I realized as i was leaving is that they scamned me...The employee distracted me with the neck massage so the girls could grab my card sticking out without me seeing them. I immediately went across the street to my bank & shut the card down so thankfully i didnt take a loss. I would NEVER go back & im sure if they did this to me im sure its happened to others!!! Beware! Its sad to know it wasnt just the girls that stole my card but thr employee that used a distraction method to stand between me & my purse using a fake massage to accomplish their scheme!!!! Looking back, I should have called the police but was more worried about getting to the bank to shut the card down! read more

I used to go to Model nails frequently with Lisa and the partner. I knew she and partner had sold ... and I did not go back. Until this Wed., April 25, 2018. I went in and asked the gal for a early Fri morning appointment. She said she could do it today. I recomfirmed, "Friday, early, for Manicure". She said she opened at 9:30, asked my name but wrote nothing down. This morning at 9:20 I was sitting in front of the business, and at 9:30 waited for it to open. At 9:45 a truck pulled up, a gentlemen opened the doors and I followed. I told him I had an appointment at 9:30 for a manicure with French nails. He was on the phone, kept talking to his phone contact, sat down at a Pedi station and started running water. Then he said "you sit here". I said "First of all my appointment was 9:30, not 9:50, I am on a schedule, secondly I had appointment for Manicure, and I told YOU manicure, not pedicure, and third, it is very hot, can you turn the A/C on?". No, boss not here, she is on her way.... (this was 9:58). I told him "never mind". I went down the road to another nail business, got right in, had my lovely french manicure and got a 20% discount for new customer. I cannot imagine having a business of any kind and not have the business open when the hours are posted. Do not recommend this place. At all.... I should have read the reviews before even trying Model Nails again. read more
