Today I took my mom to get her nails done for Mother's Day to treat her to something nice. Though as you can see in the pictures they nails didn't turn out great. Me and my mom were both very excited to go but right from the beginning so many red flags. My mom was in the chair for her pedi and the bag already has water in it indicating that someone had already been there. We had to tell them to remove it and place a new one. Me and my mom asked the lady how her day was going to start a convo going but the lady was over it. She really didn't want to deal with our shit but she could've at least been nice about that. Her same attitude continued throughout the whole service. In the manicure my mother wanted a specific design but she told us to tell another worker about that. Since it seemed like she couldn't understand us but she was already talking to us before. Then it took forever for the other worker to come and translate, though I know she understood us. Then while doing the nails the lady left the edges looking incomplete, overall just a mess. My mother even communicated if she could fix the edges since they still had no polish. She still has gel on her cuticles. It makes me sad that this happened when my mother deserved a nice day to treat herself. I used to like this salon but it truly has gone downhill. In regards to the salon it looked a mess as well. They was dust everywhere and everything looked pretty run down. If your thinking about going here plz don't go. While the inside really is no thrills the customer services was immensely better then similar locations. I got a gel pedi and was pleased with the outcome. The prices are very reasonable. I just had the best pedicure by Song! She was very detailed throughout the entire pedicure and did an amazing job! It was also fun to talk to her and everything was very clean (i'm very picky about places being clean!) I will also add that she took the time to soak the gel I had on previously off. I've been to some salons where they just try to rip it off and they've ripped my nails, so I was very happy to see she was taking the time to soak them off properly! :) I've tried out a couple other places in the valley and some in Scottsdale, but I can say nobody does pedicures better than Nailganic! I found that they are more affordable than a lot of other places so it allows me to leave a bigger tip for my tech. I was not sure what to expect besides positivity... I came here because they had great reviews here on Yelp, but I was blown away by the customer service and attention to each customer I saw (myself included or course). The owner himself helped me schedule my appointment (which I did last minute mind you) and was able to accommodate me. They close at 6 but he allowed me to come in at 6 for a gel mani and pedi - which I was so grateful for because it's my birthday on Xmas and I wanted to have darling fingers and toes to feel my best! They definitely enforce social distancing and everyone is required to wear masks, which or course I'm pleased by. Since I arrived at closing there were only two other customers there - but they took me in, asked me to wash my hands first and then I sat down. They seem to make their own concoctions of herbal pedicure creams and products and they smelled amazing. I felt extra pampered too because I had another person helping me with my mani while I was sitting in my large cozy massage chair getting my pedicure done... not sure this is always the case of course but it helped with efficiency on time too. The woman helped me pick holiday colors (I'm so indecisive) and I was pleased to have the beautiful green and sparkly accent that we ended up selecting. They took my phone number because they keep track of your nail colors in case in between next visit you get a chip and need to fix... Perhaps I've been out of the loop for a while on my nail game but I thought this was so fab, especially because I hadn't been asked or told that this was something a place does. In addition, the owner showed me himself the software he built to keep track of people's preferences and info to ensure the best experience while at Nailganic! I'm definitely coming back here. In addition to the cleanliness and attention to safety during the pandemic, I loved the aesthetics and the soft music playing. It didn't smell overtly harsh on nail salon chemicals as other places do. It was such a treat and I was absolutely pleased from the moment I walked in the door to when I left. I wanted to like this place more than they wanted me to be a longtime returning customer. The owners Frank and Kim were very pleasant on my first visit despite me being initially unhappy with my pedicure. The second visit, they seemed a little less eager to please and very short and hasty with us. The young man they assigned me to on my first visit looked and acted like he wanted to be any place but there that evening. He knicked the top of my foot with the cuticle remover and kept going like it was nothing. It was the fastest pedicure ever. I couldn't even enjoy the foot massage which is my favorite part of a pedicure. When he was done, he passed me off to a tech who happened to have an injured foot at the time and he hightailed it out of there. Since I try to be an understanding person, I figured he probably had plans that evening he was anxious to get to so I didn't bother stopping him. I instead told my nail tech. I wish I could remember her name because she was very polite and helpful! The tech told the owner, Frank, who happens to also be her brother. He came over and looked over my foot where I had been poked and agreed it was unacceptable. Frank also acknowledged that the overall pedicure wasn't done properly and I still had a substantial amount of overgrown cuticles. He apologized and offered to make things right. I agreed to come back the next morning for them to give me a compensatory pedicure. Next thing I knew, Kim hopped up and volunteered to do my feet at that exact moment. She had a big smile on her face and seemed so eager please...how could I say no? Needless to say, their conflict resolution skills were on point that day and I left satisfied! My mistake was thinking that I could get the same experience Kim gave me every time I visit. Which leads me to visit #2... My partner gets terrible callouses from his work boots and the first visit they weren't able to get it all filed down without hurting him. So, we ordered a callous remover from Amazon and brought it along to help with the process. All I'll say is, our tech had a lot to say for someone who wasn't the one paying for the service. I was annoyed because instead of her letting his feet soak til they were wrinkly or letting the solution sit on his feet the length of time given in the directions, she tried to rush and gave me lip. Maybe it's just me but, I hate feeling rushed and like the quality is being compromised...especially on my dime. MY money means it needs to be done to MY liking... not what YOU would like to do. I'm used to nail establishments that have more to offer and way more consistent service. I chose this location because of convenience but I'd rather drive 40 minutes for better service. read more

My biggest pet peeve when I go to nail shops is when you book an appointment and they don't get you in at the time you scheduled. We got in at 10am and immediately washed our hands and were seated in the pedicure chair. We did the deluxe pedicure with hot stone massage and a fifteen minute massage. Both of our pedicurists showed us a fifteen minute timer to make sure we were getting every minute of our massage. The music here was nice and quiet, the TVs were muted and not distracting (I don't usually like to watch TV when I'm getting my nails done), and everyone was very nice and helpful. I walked in on a Saturday morning and was able to get a regular pedicure right away. The staff was welcoming and offered me water as soon as I sat down. She was attentive with prepping my cuticles and exfoliating/buffing away dead skin. The five-minute massage included in the regular pedicure was wonderful and ended with a hot towel. I was here last weekend and waited to see how my nails held up before leaving a review. I got dip with my natural nail and within a few days all my nails are cracked. All my nails are crooked, dip powder is uneven, cracked and doesn't cover my whole nail. I've been several places for dip and this was by far the worst. They offer free fixes within a week but it's not even worth it at this point. One nail, I get. But all 10 are fucked up? Yeah, I'll pass... Oh and When I got them done, I was charged an additional $8 because of doing multicolor yet this was NEVER disclosed when picking out my colors. My friend and I made an appointment on a Saturday morning for 10:30. We walked in a minute before and we waited about 30 minutes before we were helped out. I provided a picture to the nail tech and she insisted she was not able to do it until another nail tech convinced her it was fine. She took about 2 hours or more..I asked her to correct 3 fingers because they were bulky and thick and not blended at all. by the time she was done, I was too. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the receptionist and he agreed that the shop would fix my nails if I came back even the same day. I went to eat because I was starving and came back to get my nails done by the other owner, I asked him to do gel and he insisted to do yet again, dipping powder. That took about almost 2 hours as well, I hated them but I wasn't about to sit there AGAIN. Yesterday, on Tuesday they ALLLLLLLL peeled off. I paid $62.00 for this set for them to last barely 3 days and the refused to refund my money. After spending my whole Saturday almost at this nail shop I refused for them to "fix it". They were very kind but kindness doesn't really help me when I spent almost $70.00 for nails that didn't last me at all...never coming back again. read more

I couldn't find another nail salon that offered the same natural benefits so I jumped on this place to spoil myself before my baby shower/maternity photos. I was not disappointed. Everyone was so friendly from the minute we arrived to when we left. The entire shop is pretty big but it was clean, bright, and a relaxing environment. The massage chairs were very comfy and the nail tech was quick to help you adjust the chair and set up your massage setting. I got a pedicure and a regular manicure. Both were amazing! She really took her time on my pedicure, the massage was great, and I loved the natural scrubs and even a fresh squeezed orange she rubbed on my legs! Not a great pedicure, very sloppy. I went with my sister. Her technician dropped the plastic cup with the scrub into the tub and just let it spin around and around my sisters legs. Basically you're getting a pedicure with trash in the water. When my sister tries to reach down and take it out, the tech would let her! But it was bothering her! Yuck! read more
