Every time I look at my eyebrows I get so dang frustrated. This woman was very sweet as other reviews mentioned but I'm not satisfied with the service. I wasn't going to leave a review since I didn't have to pay but I feel it's right to let other people know in case someone's planning to visit. For starters, she had me sit in a chair outside with no type or covering. It wasn't a chair you could easily clean it's made of fabric. She didn't wipe/clean my eyebrows like I've had done with other threaders. After growing my eyebrows out for more than a year I'm back with eyebrows that are cousins. One eyebrow is thinner than the other and the corner arch is rugged. One of my eyebrows doesnt even have all the hair removed at the end of it. I'm back to growing out my eyebrows again. read more

I usually get my eyebrows threaded at Arrowhead Mall. However, my last experience was terrible. I'm glad I found Leena now. She is super friendly and nice. I called her this morning for an appointment, and she told me I could come in any time. She is available to thread Tuesday through Saturday from 9am - 6/6:30pm. Mondays are her errand days, so make sure to call her in advance to check her availability. On rare occasions, she might be at henna parties. Leena does the threading in her home. She patiently listened to my preferences to maintain the eyebrow thickness with a nice shape. I had my eyebrows and upper lip threaded all for $10. That's undoubtedly a slick deal, especially since she does such a great job. She didn't apply any lotion afterwards, which was the way I liked it. No breakouts or cuts - perfect! The session was about 15 minutes. I was so happy that she taught me some tricks to keep my eyebrows in shape. I will definitely come in regularly to see her. O wow!! So this isn't in a building or salon but instead a house. And I was really iffy at first about going in but she has no pets and it's pretty clean inside! She did an amazing job on me and my mom. I was having allergies and crying due to my face being so sensitive but she was so kind a patient. (I got my whole face done, she was so gentle and effective still!) My mom was impressed with her eyebrows and how kind she was. I was impressed by how hairless my face is and how amazing my brows looks. Overall, she did an amazing job and I would highly recommend!! The lady was sweet but I asked for her to keep my eyebrows thick and she made them so thin It took a while for me to grow them in like I wanted and I was so disappointed. There's also a small gap in one of them and they look so different when before I'd grown them for they were once again sisters and not cousins. Looking at my brows makes me sad now. I don't live close to here but I still trek out when I have enough time after work. TIP: It's run out of Leena's house. The front part of the house is set up like a salon. I was definitely skeptical when I first went but I felt better when another customer came and verified that it was indeed an eyebrow threading studio. A sign up front might be helpful. Anyway, I've had my eyebrows done at a lot of different places and Leena is one of the best. I sometimes go awhile between threadings and she's very gentle but thorough with my crazy eyebrows. I just moved to the state and was in need of a new eyebrow threader. I found this one through yelp and decided to give her a go bc of the great reviews. I was not disappointed. She did a great job. Very thorough. No stray hairs and the brow shape is perfect. This was also the least painful eyebrow threading I have ever had. At $8 , you can't beat the price either--especially bc you are not losing any quality for the value. My only complaint would be the chair you have to sit in is like an upholstered dining room chair and doesn't really offer any neck support while you are leaning back getting your eyebrows threaded. It is a little uncomfortable but not enough so to impact my overall rating. Definitely recommend this service. I will be returning for sure. read more
