It was a really hard break up, and my expectations are very high for a replacement. When we walked in today, there was one person in a chair, but it was otherwise vacant, which is always nice. I can't say that I was impressed with the visit, which is unfortunate. I had to ask her to fix a couple areas, and then I gave up and had to clip when I got home. The edging under the brow was not clean, and there were a few random brow hairs that I had to pluck also. She also has a strong hand, I understand you need pressure to get the hair off, but it just wasn't a good service compared to what I've had before. I will try again and maybe go a different day to see if another technician provides me a better experience. She was very nice, and the store is very clean. Just not my cup of tea!

I don't usually leave reviews, but my recent visit truly left me disappointed. I tried to brush it…read moreoff, knowing nothing can really be changed now, but I wanted to share my experience so others know to be careful when choosing who does their brows. I've been coming here for almost 3 years and have always left happy...until this past Friday between 10-10:30 AM. There was only one lady working, an older woman with glasses. She was very kind, but unfortunately, this was the most painful threading session I've ever had. It felt like far too much hair was removed, and when she finished, she applied aloe without asking (something the other ladies usually do after checking if the customer wants it). When she handed me the mirror, I noticed my brows looked a little uneven, but since I was rushing to a doctor's appointment, I paid and left. Later, in better lighting, I was shocked. My brows were extremely thin...something I've never experienced here. I've always had naturally fuller brows, even though they've thinned slightly with age, and I take pride in keeping them that way. I honestly wanted to cry. I eventually called to share my concerns, and while no manager or owner was available, the girl who answered was very sweet and understanding. I explained what happened and suggested that the threaders be reminded to always confirm exactly what the customer wants...especially when someone asks for a simple clean-up. I know brows grow back, but this has been really upsetting, especially with an event I have next weekend. This is definitely a learning experience for me, and I just want to encourage others to be specific with their requests and, if possible, stick to a threader you trust for consistency.

For the past two years I went to this INCREDIBLE woman who did both brows for $6. The lady before her that I went to charged $8. Before going to crazy ass Berta and her OUTRAGEOUS prices for a shit job, I had gone to Preety Salon, who I think charged me $10. You know--something normal. Not triple what it should be like Berta. Berta, I have tweezers at home. I know how to use them. I didn't come to you to spend a fortune on my eyebrows so you could LAZILY PLUCK THEM (and when I ask about it, tell me the plucking is to "shape" them first before threading them--too bad no one but you has ever done it this way in my decade of Getting my brows threaded for your astounding "thirty six years in this business") and then charge up the ass for the worst job on my eyebrows I've ever seen. My boyfriend come this weekend to visit me, and my eyebrows look like a chop job, and I spent 2-3 times what someone who can competently actually THREAD my brows without relying solely on old-fashioned tweezers. If I wanted to tweeze my f*cking brows, I would have stayed home. I'm so outraged that Berta thinks she can rob me $20 and not even thread like she is supposed to.
