I made an appointment with Yuki after reading so many great recommendations, and the experience definitely lived up to the hype. Yuki was incredibly friendly, warm, and even had me laughing during the appointment, which made the visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. The service was very well done, and while there were a couple of small details I might mention next time, that's more on me for not being as communicative in the moment. Overall, the quality of work and professionalism really stood out. Yuki is sweet, attentive, and clearly skilled, and I left happy with my nails. I would absolutely recommend Yuki to anyone looking for a new nail technician--especially if you don't already have a regular go-to. read more

So glad i found this salon! Easy to schedule, friendly service upon arrival , friendly techs. They offer all the colors and newest trends in nail products from what I've seen. Yuki did my nails and she is extremely talented, sweet, easy to talk to, quick, a perfectionist and has you check you are happy along the entire process. Pinky's is always my go to for nails! I moved further away and tried other salons, but Pinky's is head and shoulders above the rest! Came here for the first time. I was impressed with how my nails turned out. They looked beautiful, so I was happy. They did charge me 5 dollars to shape my nails. My nails were already coffin shaped, and that is what I requested this time, so I'm not sure why I was charged. My pedicure was a whole other story. I paid 60 dollars for the luxury pedicure, but it was far from luxurious. I had a guy do my toes. He never pushed the cuticles back or cut all the dead skin around the nail bed. My toes were poorly painted. I'm not sure what I got out of the luxurious pedicure, as I never got to choose a flavor as stated in the description. It also said 26 minutes of moisturizing leg and foot massage, which I know I didn't get that. Definitely not worth my money, overall. read more

Today was my first time at Pinky's Nails & Spa and it did not disappoint! My friend recommended this salon to me and from the time that I called to make an appointment the staff was friendly, accommodating and easy to speak with! The technician took their time and did not rush me at all, listened to what I was wanting done and helped me come up with the design I was looking for! Bummed because I really wanted to give this place a shot, but the front desk person was pretty rude. I came in, asked if they had time for a gel-x set, and she just said "no." Just like that. Didn't ask if I wanted to make an appointment to come in later or another day, just "no." I'm not blaming anyone for not having time, it's a busy Saturday and I totally understand that it's my fault for not calling ahead. However, it's not very hard to be nice when turning people away, even when it's busy. Don't think I'll try this place again. read more

I've been here twice and have loved my nails each time! I was a little nervous at first since I'm a little picky with my gel nails and tend to pick pictures I like from Pinterest. Most nail salons I have been to either pretend they know how to mimic what I am looking for or try to convince me to get acrylic. Both times I have been here, the nail technicians have been honest with me that they can complete my nails up to certain point but may have to ask for help from other technicians. This salon is amazing! I had yet to find a salon that would honor "10 minute massages" with a FULL 10 minutes and Pinky Nails does it. Updating my review to 3 stars... the lady was nice but for the price, the result was not what I was expecting, I would have been better off paying less and not getting a design that looked messy. The hearts were messy and look like they are bleeding hearts because they look smudged and not filled in properly. Also cuticles looked crusty. - updating my review to 1 star thanks to the petty and unprofessional and INCORRECT response of the business owner. First of all the whole point of Yelp is to share OUR experience and if you can't own up to the fact that this was just a sloppy job then u have NO business being a business owner. TO CLARIFY, I only had ONE person work on my nails, not two ppl, to whom I brought an EXACT PHOTO of what I wanted so not sure why u are lying and saying that I "couldn't make up my mind" and if this mess of a job is "ur top nail technician" then that speaks volume in itself. ALSO, I wasn't complaining about the $35 for a gel manicure, the point I was making, that went totally over ur head, is that I would have been better off getting THAT regular plain polish for that $35 instead of the design that was more expensive ($43) and poorly executed. Honestly I actually liked this place and was still willing to give it another try and the rating could have gone up, but thanks to this "business owner's" completely uncalled for response, that won't be happening. 3 stars went down to 1 thanks to ur inability to be a professional. Good job on knowing how to run a business. read more

I don't enjoy writing reviews about experiences that didn't meet my expectations, but I also really dislike spending money and time trying a new place that I wouldn't visit again. That being said, I've only been here one time. I got a dip manicure and unfortunately it was clear the nail tech didn't know how to properly do it (I'm sure they have more skill techs, but I'm not taking the chance to go back and find out). For starters I ended up with FIVE layers of colored dip. FIVE. Iykyk. Those puppies were THICC. Not only was it 5 layers, but she was letting my nails marinate in the dip powder. If you've gotten dip before, you know your finger should be in and out like burgers. When you hold a nail in the dip it creates an inconsistent color on the nail. Hence the 5 layers to try and save the end result. My nails were then barely filed down. Unfortunately I didn't get a good photo of the nails - I wasn't planning on writing a review, but as I'm still in the search for a good spot near my new place I figured I'd save someone else the possible trouble. read more

Got a pedicure and a timer alarm went off, was not sure what that was until I asked one of the nail techs. They informed me that they use a timer so that the clients would not get cheated out of any of the minutes for the massage. I've never see this in a salon! Throughout my entire appointment, I could hear the staff speaking Vietnamese and talking badly about customers. Unfortunately for them, I also speak Vietnamese, so I understood exactly what they were saying -- and they were talking about me the entire time. On top of that, my nails were done crooked and uneven. When I politely asked them to fix them, instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was scolded and spoken to disrespectfully in Vietnamese, in front of me, assuming I wouldn't understand. I genuinely don't understand how a customer is expected to spend their hard-earned money somewhere and then be insulted and treated disrespectfully by the people providing the service. The poor workmanship was disappointing enough, but the disrespectful behavior was completely unacceptable. I will never return to Grand Nails Lounge, and I would strongly recommend others think twice before spending their money here.
