I am seriously picky when it comes to my nails. I have very long nails and always have. I have used many of his nail techs but Dylan is my favorite. In my opinion, it's best to stick to one person... That way it's consistent and they learn exactly how you like them done. It's best to always make appointments and not just walk in. The quality of my nails are superb, I receive many compliments on them and I don't mind paying for that. This is a great salon with quality products and terrific customer service. I had a "classic" gel manicure and pedicure. It looked like I did it myself and I'm not a nail tech. It was $119, $100 without tip. If you get a basic mani/pedi it's $52. Weird that it's $48 more for gel imo. I got there about 9:30, and I left around noon. My cuticles look awful. My left hand started bleeding this morning. They were friendly enough but service was so slow and I expected my hands to look nice for at least 2 days since I got them done yesterday. Maybe the regulars get a better job on their nails, maybe it was just a bad day for the tech I had, but I'm not happy with it. I would have asked for my cuticles to be fixed yesterday but I had places to be. I didn't take a pic of my feet bc they shaped my toenails weirdly and I don't want to look at them. Vibes are off. Where do I begin... she knicked my cuticles and held the drill down too long it and burned my nail, I flinched as every other person would as it is an instinctual reaction to pain. The first time this happen she said ok I'll drill really slow because you're sensitive and I said no, you burnt me it's not being sensitive" Then she knicks my cuticle and I went to check if it was bleeding and she had this look on her face she looked at her coworker as if I had just spat in her face. Then again she gets my cuticle and I jerk my hand out of reaction and I And she says verbatim "you are kind of baby" and I looked at her and said "excuse me?!?!" And she didn't say much after that. When I had picked my color she went and got a different color and said this one's prettier let's do this one. And I'm like uhhh ehh and she said ok you pick and I said I'll keep the dark one I picked out. At some point she got hot and put the fan in her face and being silly she put the fan in my face and then I smiled but then she pulled her shirt collar outward and put the fan angled down so the handheld fan was by her chin facing down. And then while I had my hands with acetone foils on all my fingers and with how fast she did it.. she grabbed my shirt in the chest area and put the fan to my chin to have air blown on my boobs. And I kinda froze up and was really quiet and I didn't say much after that. She kept trying to push a manicure on me I had to tell her no over and over and over that I only want a GELL manicure and as the session went on she told me I'm too sensitive and I shouldn't get GELL. And I said why? She said because I'm too sensitive and I look at her and say no. I like GELL.
