Pedicure was not nearly "Deluxe". Lady scratched the top of the nape of my feet and left red markings (still burning). Massage was not 10 minutes, no actual callus removal, barely any cuticle trim, the gel polish is sloppy, instead of removing the polish with nail polish remover she filed my entire toe nails down, there was also no trimming or filling of my actual toe nails length. It's nice they're open on Sunday's but not nice when you have to come back.. I got a shellac pedicure for about $50.. after five days my gel polish came off my big toe. I came back two days later to get it fixed and that cost me $10 for one toe!?! Then the next day, gel polish came off a different toe.. i've never had this happen before. I don't know what kind of shellac gel nail polish they use or products that make that gel nail polish come off in less than a week!?? And the worst part is they're not apologetic & they charge you $10 a toe!?! read more

I'm new to Arizona I moved here a few months ago and have been trying to find a new nail salon. I came across Cali nails last week and got a pedicure. I was asked to come back which I totally understand, and I gave them a call before coming back to make sure it was okay and if they still had time to take me for a pedicure in which they said yes it was and to come. I showed up and got seated right away. The total time my service was, was about 20 minutes or less. Their prices were honestly pretty high considering all I got was a gel pedicure it was 50/55 dollars. If I wanted callus remover it would have been an extra 10 and French tip an extra 7. I decided to opt out of the two which is something I normally get and willing to spend the money on but because of how fast the service was going I felt I wasn't going to be getting appropriate treatment, and my instincts were right. I had to ask if they could remove the nail polish from my skin because it was almost every other toe that had the nail polish on my skin very noticeable and I still walked out with some on my skin. One of the ladies there was very nice as she spent time to remove it but the more I think about it the more it does make me upset because I am a college student who spends her little check to get a nice service done whenever I can and it just felt like a waste. Being a nursing student put me on my feet a lot and I looked forward to a service that would be relaxing and getting to remove some impurities on my toes but I walked out with my feet looking the same just with polish on them and dead skin still read more

Honestly I never leave reviews but this experience made me question if the woman doing my nails even had a license. She was very nice but I only needed to get a gel manicure taken off and still had a horrible experience. She took off all of the polish with an electric file and clipped my cuticle and the side of my finger multiple times throughout the service. First visit there the owners daughters (I'm assuming) act like we bothered them when we walked in. When I told one sister the water for my pedicure was hot she told her sister "bro I got it". My toes were ok so I decided to give them a second chance. I went in again on a Wednesday and the owner (older lady) seemed bothered because it was only her and one guy there who was already busy. She rushed my friend's toes and my toes. Pedicures are not cheap. Horrible pedicure. Rushed and I was scared she was going to cut me. I was tense. Her payment system was not working properly and was insisting to swipe my card 3 times. I understood the system would reverse it but I felt as if I paid 150 for a crappy pedicure. She then ran to my car holding me hostage because her system was not taking my payment, which was not my fault. Her daughter got there and both were harassing me in my car asking for my ID and debit card. I handed her cash because I was so upset that I was getting harassed, got a horrible pedicure and the daughter didn't say thank you or was not apologetic about the system not working. Those people are snobby and don't care about people they take money from. Please don't waste your time here. read more

I have waited almost 2 weeks to write this review. Post-COVID, I am aware there are staffing shortages so I won't necessarily touch on that subject - other than I called ahead and was told when to come in - there was still a wait. We had 2 people in our party - 1 person having an acrylic fill and the other having a fill and a pedicure. One of the two employees started to do the acrylic fill (while the other person having 2 services done waited). The quality of the fill was okay. It looked good at the salon and that day. About 3 days later I could see lifting (and chipping) of the acrylic on 8 of my 10 nails. When the other employee was ready the person having 2 services done there was a discussion regarding the fill. It was settled that it would be a dipped fill (as the employee said we had to or remove the nails and go acrylic). As the first person done with 1 service and having to wait for the other person having 2 services done, I left to go get something cold to drink. When I came back I saw that the employee had taken off the dipped nails and was putting on a new set of acrylic nails. I asked the employee why this was happening and she said she didn't know. I replied - how do you not know, you're doing her nails. What happened to doing the dipped fill like it was discussed and agreed upon? She again said I don't know. I asked my mother (the person now getting a new set of nails) how this happened and she said 'that's what she told me I needed to do.' I decided to step outside and I was very upset. I feel these 2 employees took advantage of my elderly mother in taking off her nails and making her get a new set. I will never go back. read more

Terrible service! My appointment was for 4pm I didn't get seen until 5:15. After my feet were done they requested that I pay. MISTAKE!! My nails look awful. They are shape like blobs, paint chipped the same day, left my fingers dry covered in product. It gets better! So I tell her how unhappy I am and then the first thing that came out of her mouth is I don't have time, come back tomorrow no refund. I'm telling her like I don't have time for that, my flight leaves in the am. She says if you don't leave I can call the POLICE. I came here months ago with my best friend because she recommended this place. On my first visit I was not impressed at all. I thought my SNS manicure was done horribly. However, I thought it would be good to give them a second chance. Two days ago I went do get another SNS manicure. The staff is friendly I must say, but I do not think their work is worth the price they charge for their services. I paid $45 for my SNS and frankly I was unsatisfied with the service. Before my manicure was even completed I was charged, and so u paid because the owner of the shop wanted to leave. Secondly, the lady who was doing my nails seemed to be in a rush, and that is the reason why I think all my nails are different sizes and shapes. I had a gel mani & pedi done. The service was priced normally, but the work was garbage. The woman who did my pedi got snippy with me when I pointed out that my big toe had a huge clump of gel on it and blamed me for not keeping my toes flat under the uv light. She re-polished the toe and it still has a small clump which I didnt see til I got home! The mani was okay. I specifically asked for a matte finish, which they did a shoddy job of... then before I could tell them to stop they both loaded my hands and feet with lotion and oil and basically RUINED the purple matte look I wanted! It's more like a satin brown now because the oil discolored the polish! I was too shocked and angry to speak. Shame on me for assuming they knew what they were doing. I just paid them and left. I'll echo everyone else here in saying that all of the previous reviews were written before "Jimmychu" started working here and really started impacting the culture and feeling of the place. I hadn't been there back in the day (even though it's a few blocks from my house) because of the negative reviews but decided to take a chance on it when I had been drinking, couldn't drive but decided I wanted to get my nails done (don't judge, OK?). I walked over to Cali Nails at 6:45 (they close at 7), but was greeted with a smile and service right away (by the other Jimmy). It took about 1.25 hours and $50 to get a fantastic gel manicure (from Jimmychu) and a good spa pedicure (from Rose). I was very pleased with the shape of my nails and I like how just because a few were short, he didn't try to trim them all down. It's been almost two weeks, and they're still looking good. Plus, as other reviewers, were mentioned the two Jimmys are just a lot of fun and genuinely seem to enjoy their jobs, which made it really fun to be there. I will definitely be back. Horrible customer service!!!! They tried to rip me off and charge me for basic things that come in a manicure such as a nail clipping! So when I told them I was okay paying $10 for removing my gel polish since I didn't want to pay $30 for a polish change with no manicure the lady helping me become super rude. She didn't even remove the nail polish completely and tried to finish me off- but I pointed out the clearly obvious nail polish marks still on my finger. I am not paying $10 for a polish removal with polish still on them. I ended up going elsewhere and paying $30 for a gel mani, but this place and the service doesn't deserve my money or anyone else's! Just had a great Manicure here from Jimmy (Budha), Yes there are two Jimmy's! I can't believe I didn't even know about this place, and I've worked a skip away for 9 months. HOWEVER, after giving them good consistent business for over a year, I was treated RUDELY because a local celebrity came in (Linda Williams - news anchor for fox 10). Half-way into my appointment, Linda Williams comes in. The manager makes my nail technician leave me and do Linda Williams job. I had to wait 15 minutes until I got attention again. The funny thing is I ACTUALLY made an appointment. Because of the delay, I did not get good treatment. I had to rush because I had to be back at work. I had to rush out of there.
