Always a great time when coming to this Doughbird location. Arvand and crew provide exceptional service and hospitality. Can never go wrong with the shishito peppers. Thank you for always providing such great food and service Doughbird!

First time visiting Doughbird, and I had a a good experience however, I don't think it wowed me enough to come back. I ordered the shishito peppers, they were not too bad. I usually like them with some type of lemon sauce and the one that was provided didn't have that much flavor. My main course was the rotisserie chicken and I substituted the broccolini for the brussels sprouts which had good flavor but the saltiness became overpowering sometimes. I will say they have pretty big portions so I thought that was good. Service was great, our waiter was very attentive and it was nice out so we had the opportunity to sit outside.

So, I finally got a chance to try the Classic Chicken Pot Pie! I should have eaten it yesterday (3-14), but missed by a day! This pot pie is incredibly good. The flaky buttery crust is better than your grandma made (aren't all grandmas famous pastry chefs?). The inside gravy has the perfect blend of herbs, and spinach, carrots, mushrooms and chicken throughout. So yummy! We had this delivered and it arrived still quite warm. It is also big enough to share or have leftovers. Definitely a winner by Doughbird.

Great food and drinks that really hit the mark! Everything came out hot and fresh, and you can tell care goes into the preparation. The service was impressively fast without feeling rushed, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to--highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable place with great flavors and efficient service!

My first time at doughbird was for my friends birthday, and it was a great experience. Staff was very welcoming and our table of 10 was ready at the time it was scheduled for, no long waits, it was organized. I Ordered their Spicy Rigatoni and added Crispy Chicken to it with a glass of riesling, 10/10 for me. Dress code was causal and the music was light but fit the ambience, I will be returning.

This place has it all! Great food, great ambiance, great service. Our friends took us here and it was really amazing. I loved the Brussel sprouts (which is shocking since I rarely do) and the pizza was absolutely delicious. Everything I ate was perfectly done. I would absolutely go back!

I have wanted to try Doughbird (Arcadia), a family-friendly neighborhood restaurant and bar. It is known for its house-made Detroit-style deep-dish pizza, rotisserie chicken, salads, sandwiches, and entrées. Doughbird offers happy hour Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The happy hour deals are available at the bar and patio. They include 50% off beer and wine, $8 select signature cocktails, and discounted appetizers like Shishitos, Hummus, Truffle Cheese Bread, and Caesar Salad. I took advantage of their (Doughbird10) promo and got $10 off my first online order. We tried the deep-dish Margherita pizza; to please my wife, I added Italian sausage to please me. Detroit-style pizza has a thick, airy, and focaccia-like crust. The key is the crispy, cheesy edge achieved by baking it in a pan with the cheese extending to the sides. Their pizza has a tangy sauce; we enjoyed the fresh mozzarella, sausage, and basil. My only complaint was the pizza is a little small for the price, but the flavor and taste were well worth the cost.

Super friendly service, dog friendly patio (unlike its un-neighborly neighbors), and good food. Husband liked his pizza. I got the rotisserie chicken, which was delicious. Juicy chicken and yummy sides. Such a fan. Will definitely be back!

spicy tuna tostada

I had the espresso martini -- definitely strong, but really good since it's made with real coffee. The spicy tuna tostada was great. The brussels sprouts were just okay; they didn't have any tang or sweetness, so they came off a bit bland. The chicken pot pie, though, was excellent. The crust was really good and the filling had a lot of flavor. Overall, solid spot with some standout dishes.

Dropped by on a Wednesday evening and got sat right away. Our server was so kind and knowledgeable. We had great food and it filled us up. The tenders might be the best ever, the Brussel sprouts were so yummy, and the rotisserie had great taste and large portion. The restaurant itself was nice for a couples dinner or large parties too and the 360 degree bar had plenty of seats and lots of TVs to watch the game too

Pizzas, chicken, and many other comfort eats served in a casual space with a wrap around patio and an airy, modern vibe. And roasted chicken and pizza are two of my favorite things to eat. This location is spacious, clean, and inviting very sad it is not as packed as it should be. They had a good vibe with the doors opened to the outside patio so you were in and outside at the same time. We ordered from a special menu for restaurant week, we got the dry rub chicken wings, chicken pot pie, and a warm butterscotch cake with vanilla bean gelato. Everything was delicious and I wanted more if I can only eat more, lol! The service was on when she is paying attention and very friend, but then you can't find her for awhile. Had to get someone to get us refills twice.

Right on Camelback, in a little nook of a building with a book store/coffee shop attached. We entered and were seated immediately. If you read any of my previous reviews, you'll know that my wife loves oysters. Per usual, that where we started. We got the oyster and a bottle of prosecco. A few mimosas to start the day. My friend arrived almost exactly when the oysters and bottle came out. We chatted and perused the menu. We were in no rush as we drank through the first bottle. My wife got the pizza that was on the menu. I forgot what they called it, but it was good. Nice crust, a savory sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. My friend ordered avocado toast I believe or something very similar. She's a psycho path that runs 20 miles every morning so she was ready to take in carbs. She tore through it like a starving cheetah tears through a gazelle. I had an omelette which was pretty good, but nothing that knock me out of my seat. It could have used a bit of seasoning but in all decent. We ordered a second bottle and that is when their DJ began playing music. He played soft jazz which definitely was not the vibe we were looking for. None of the aforementioned mention brought this rating down to a three star review. It was all 4 star worthy accept the service was not great. Far from it actually. Don't worry I still tipped 20% as I feel it's a bare minimum, but he didn't deserve it. As I stated we were seated immediately, but it took our server nearly 15 minutes to even acknowledge us. I didn't know who it would be, but when he finally did all I could think is that he passed our table numerous times prior to stopping. Once he did there was a serious "I do not want to be here" vibe in his body language and tone. My friend who didn't arrive till the oysters and bottle were served missed that initial interaction but immediately noticed it. She an A type and wanted to complain to the manager. I got her to let it go. I know every has there days and this might have been his. Through out our stay here, he rarely checked in on us. As a matter of fact I believe we drank through each bottle before he checked in. This is the sole reason my rating went from a 4 to a 3. I hope the guy was ok, but I wish it could have been something he didn't bring to work with him. No pictures again. Sorry... I really just like to enjoy the moments with the people I am with and forget to take pictures.

The person who took our order was distracted and provided poor customer service. We had to each repeat our orders, no eye contact, etc. We both ordered the Ultimate Taco, my wife chose Birria beef and I chose Green Chili beef. We ordered the Vegetable Beef soup to share. The food was delivered promptly. The food needed salt, but was otherwise delicious. The side red and green salsas provided were flavorful and provided the right amount of heat. I could not let them go back east without trying some traditional Native food. They were so excited. I told them I like eating fry bread with honey and jalapenos. Nice little place with indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside as it was not too hot. Two of us ordered the traditional Native taco with ground beef. The other ordered a fry bread taco salad. We all ordered a sweet fry bread as well. I think we all got the honey fry bread. I asked for jalapenos, but they did not have picked jalapenos. One of us found a hair in the taco and was worried about taking it back. I told her not to worry, our people will not do anything to your food if you take it back. So, she took it back, and they made her another one. These tacos were so big! I could only eat half (after I had eaten 3 slices of sweet fry bread. . . lol. . .). I ate the other half the next day for lunch, and it was just as good. I will definitely be back.

It looked pretty busy when we got there, and we heard live music would start at 7:00pm. For drinks, the menu says to ask about mocktails - I would prefer that they list it on the menu so that I have more time to decide. I forgot what was in my mocktail other than yuzu, but I enjoyed it. I think my friend's mocktail was blackberry with ginger beer. For food, they are known for their Aftermath Burger, but the Jalapeño Bacon Burger sounded even better. We told our server that we were going to share everything. We didn't ask to split the burger, but I guess he told the kitchen to, so that was a nice surprise. Did not see an up-charge for that either. The burger was SO good - loved the crispy edges of the burger patties. It was so flavorful, and I would definitely go back for it. The crinkle fries were extra crispy. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka was okay, though I wouldn't order it again. Same with the burrata - I was okay with the sliced almonds for some crunch, but the fresh strawberries did not pair well with the burrata for both my friend and me. Overall we had a good dinner with decent service. The live music was great and interactive too - the singer asked questions at a nearby table, then picked a song to sing based on the responses.

The Macintosh is described as a neighborhood restaurant that serves modern American and Southern cuisine. It was once called Grassroots Kitchen & Tap before it got rebranded. They have a diverse menu with a lot of different choices. Shrimp and Grits, Barbecued Beef Ribs, a Chicken Salad and Po Boy Sandwiches are some of the standouts. I settled on the Rotisserie Chicken which came with a side of onion rings. I'm a big pesto fan and loved the buttermilk pesto for dipping. I had a nice time and look forward to a return visit. In addition to happy hour, The Macintosh has brunch on the weekends.
