Unbelievable, the top of my list hidden gem of Sushi restaurant. The first time we went they give you a complementary crab sushi with an amazing sauce. Dinner was superb, cooked perfectly and the flavors were authentic. Waiters are extremely attentive and very polite. I am from Cali (bay area) and being on the road for a few days, I was really craving some Japanese food. Came here on a Sunday night since it had really good Yelp reviews. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the sushi appetizer (5 pieces for $7 or something pretty reasonable). Sushi slices were a bit thin but were fresh. Service was excellent as many yelpers attested to. I tried it anyways and I was pretty accurate with my intuition. All I can say is they tried very hard to pass the food as Japanese food! But it just wasn't good! Reminds us of our favourite Japanese restaurants in NY. Very chic inside, modern but comfortable. Service is always quick and friendly. We have been given a number of apps on the house which are always great. We love the Hibachi and my mum loves all the different sushi rolls they offer. Food is always fresh tasting and well prepared. The service was exceptional. I ordered clear soup that was delicious and the Salmon sushi lunch. The sushi was out of this world! The salmon was fresh, full of flavor and buttery soft as well as visually appealing. Saint Augustine has needed an awesome sushi place and I think I found it. Give them a try. read more

Kinda gone down hill. Used to be they would give you an eel sauce with your sushi if you got it to go. I always paid $0.50 for another tiny eel sauce. Now I was informed they don't even give you one. You have to pay 50 cent. I understand the up charge because it costs them but $0.50 for a tiny cup that isn't even full is bad business. read more

This is probably the best sushi place in St. Augustine. First, it's incredibly reasonably priced. They gave us a sample roll of sushi, two soups and tiramisu on the house, as well. This place is amazing!!! Finally decided to go try it out today, the interior is really nice and clean, staff is super friendly and the food was great! Came in 15 minutes after opening so it wasn't too busy which is always good, we received a free appetizer from the sushi bar which was really delicious. Started with miso soup, we ordered a house roll which was amazing, along with a salmon roll, kani & eel nigiri! Also ordered yakitori and some fried rice. The quality of the sushi was very fresh and good portion size! At the end of our meal, the waitress brought us a delicious little price of sponge cake!
