2 - stars just for the service. And to be honest, the service was subpar…read more Ordered a variety of things from the menu. Mee ka thung w/beef and shrimp (upgrade charge $3), banh hoi, 1/2 lb of crispy roast pork, beef sticks, with drinks. Sprite and Vietnamese coffee. Mee ka thung: 0/5 do not recommend. It was bland. No taste. No charring of the noodles. The egg was overly cooked and we added that as an extra. The shrimp and the beef tasted off. It was fishy. Banh Hoi: 1/5 would recommend. Only good thing was the sweet fish sauce it came with. The pork belly was meh. Didn't have flavor. Tasted not fresh. Not crispy. Crispy pork belly: 0/5 do not recommend. The pork belly wasn't crispy. Tasted like they had it out for awhile and basically warmed it up when we ordered. The skin wasn't crispy. It was chewy. No flavor. No nothing. Did not taste fresh. Beef skewers: 0/5 do not recommend. Again, no flavor. No fatty pieces to counter the dryness of the meat. Nothing. The worst part. There were no pickled veggies. If they knew their skewers were dry, they should definitely have pickled veggies to off-balance the dryness. The only 2 good things that were good was the Vietnamese coffee and the fish sauce that came with the banh Hoi. Service was mediocre. Had to grab our own silverware from a near by table. Had to ask for plates. Had to ask for refills for our water. They didnt come around to check on us. We actually to wave them down. I don't live in the area, but even if I did, I wouldn't be back.

We started with the crab Rangoon and fried shumai, both perfectly crisp, fresh, and full of flavor without being greasy or heavy. Every bite was well-balanced and clearly made to order. The highlight of the meal was the Baitong Lobster. It was beautifully cooked, tender, and infused with rich flavor that made it the standout dish of the night. Easily one of the best seafood dishes we had during our trip. Overall, the quality, presentation, and execution across every dish were excellent. This is a place that delivers consistently strong food and is well worth a visit when in St. Augustine.

If you're into Thai food, this place is worth finding. The atmosphere was chill and comfortable, nothing over the top but it felt welcoming the moment you walked in. Our waiter was genuinely helpful -- not in a rehearsed way, just actually attentive and knew the menu well. That alone goes a long way. We ordered the thai fried rice and pad see ew, both were really good. The flavors were on point and the portions were solid for the price. Nothing on the menu felt overpriced, which is refreshing. We also grabbed a few appetizers and they held their own, but the rock shrimp absolutely stole the show. That was probably the highlight of the whole meal -- really well done. If you're passing through or live in the area and haven't been, it's worth checking out. Not flashy, just good food at a fair price with people who actually seem to care. That's all you really need.

We had a wonderful date night here!…read more Our waitress was so proud, she explained all about the restaurant and the chef and really made us excited to try the menu. I loved mine scallops, such a unique twist with the tom yum broth. My husband got the ribs and they were incredible! We got the Hawaii coffee and the lava cake to finish. The ice cream or sorbet with the lava cake was so special. We would definitely come back!

We made an early reservation since we saw they do Happy Hour 4PM to 5:00PM everyday so we had to get in on that. We walked and and were seated at our table. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.
