Beaches is right on the water. Beautiful views and a good number of tables outside. The bar seating is limited and fills up fast. Food is generally fun beach-side faire. We usually get the grouper fish sandwich or tacos. The Fresh Catch sandwiches is very good too. Fries are good but the onion rings are great. Drinks are good and the bucket of drink specials are a good value. Service is usually very good, although sometimes we get a lesser attentive server. Bartenders are solid. There are occasional bands playing in the afternoons which is a big plus. The sun can be a bit oppressive in the late afternoon summers. The umbrellas are ineffective at that time. Overall, I recommend Beaches for mid-day food and drink or late day entertainment and food. read more

Great views and very friendly service. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating in a relaxed atmosphere. We went for lunch and tried the Marley Burger and the Seared Tuna Wrap. The Marley Burger was a tasty flavor bomb but you can't put this stacked deliciousness down once you start on it - ask for extra napkins ahead of time. The Tuna Wrap was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. Both come with sides - we opted for the coleslaw and the beans with rice. Great first impression of the city's dining scene. Arrived after traveling and just perfect for late lunch on sunny day. Sat outdoors and enjoyed the beach scene of water, boats and folks. Service was fast and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. ordered fried clams because I love them and cannot get them fresh in the midwest. Cooked to perfection. Necks only. But that's ok. My daughter had the fried shrimp and absolutely loved them--crispy, fresh, and perfectly cooked. We stopped in for dinner on February 5, 2026. It was a very untypical Florida day, as it only reached maybe 45° for a high. The state and this restaurant was not built for this weather. This place needs to have the doors open, the umbrellas out and their patio packed with people as this place could draw a crowd. The drink menu looked amazing but, alas, we tucked in for a quiet dinner. The clam chowder was some of the best I have ever had. My wife and I split the wedge salad, which was HUGE. Very well-made with plenty of bacon, chopped tomatoes, and lots of blue cheese crumbles. Our server Jenn, who was wonderful, suggested extra blue cheese, which we gladly accepted. I had the appetizer Ahi tacos. This was an appetizer, it came with four crispy wontons filled with blackened ahi and a nice Ponzo sauce. They were topped with a mango salsa. Let me start this review by saying that I am not a seafood person. And I know that this is really what Beaches at Vilano is all about. My mom raves about the Shrimp tacos and we drove out of our way to come here specifically for them. It was a cooler day, so we didn't sit outside - they do have a large outdoor seating area, but you can view the water from many of the tables inside as well. The space and overall vibe are casual, as one might expect. I had the chicken bacon ranch wrap with a side of tater tots. The wrap definitely had a good ratio of the various filling components to each other. It was fine, but not anything that I would go out of my way to come rushing back here for (but if you are into shrimp tacos, you should follow my Mom's recommendation, I think!). I think it would be good for them to offer blackened chicken for the wrap for an additional option for us non-seafood people. The service was friendly and attentive. read more

We came with our family to Beaches recently and it was good! What stood out the most was our service. We absolutely LOVED Devan! She was so attentive and was super friendly. The inside seating was LOUD and distracting. I was having to speak in high volume to converse with my friend. Outside seating was not available due to bad weather. We were down the street from this restaurant, and based on the reviews, we decided to give it a try. We sat at the inside bar to soak up the AC. After finishes our 2026 taxes and being shocked I owe. To celebrate our taxes, we took a 12 minute drive to Beaches at Vilano for an outdoor lunch. We were seated immediately. I was very taken by the views of Vilano. The server was very attentive to me, wifey and my grandson who was indecisive about what he wanted. I wjoyed the liguine and clam sauce. Wifey had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were good to the last bite. The macaroni and cheese and tater totes were for my grandson son. I finished my meal with a lemon droo shot. It was overpriced in Vilano beach but oh so good and potent. Vilano beach is the perfect sedway to go to Beaches at Vilano for Happy hour from 3 to 6pm feom Monday to Friday. I went with friends to enjoy the red boat tours which went out for a one hour excursion where we got to see dolphins in the wild playing in the wake of the boat. I should have trusted the one star reviews. However, my friend and I were in the area and super hungry so we decided to give this place a try. Big mistake! I'll get to the point. Service was terrible. The food took over 40 minutes to arrive. I ordered the catch of the day: Corbin's for $27. We didn't have utensils when the food finally came out. My friend's coconut shrimp was lukewarm. By the time the waiter brought me a fork, so was my fish. The gusty winds cooled the food within minutes. I got steamed broccoli and rice and beans as my sides. Fish was dry but edible - like I said I was super hungry. Broccoli was literally raw. I couldn't eat it at all. I ate some of the rice and beans, like I said, I was hungry. Now, while I ate some of the fish, I pulled a fish scale and a bone out of the flesh. The cold mango salsa was mushy and made no sense at all. The worst part was the staff began wrapping up (closing umbrellas and move tables) at 8:17 pm, 43 minutes before closing. On our visit here on March 23, 2026 we had a poor experience at this restaurant. While the food was maybe worth three stars the service was horrible. It began with a hostess who barely acknowledged our presence and had a pathetic demeanor. Once we were seated we eventually got our drinks. That was the only time we saw our waiter Shawn until we got out bill. I had to go to the bar for silverware as we had no help from our server. Shawn didn't check in on us at all while we ate and I had to flag him down to get the bill. The only reason for getting a two star review was the great view. Total disappointment. read more

We tried out this new restaurant and decided to sit at a high top which would be bartender service. We waited a good minute and server lady came up and asked for our drinks. We got our drinks and we waited a while to even get a menu. One of the margaritas didn't have any salt. We instantly felt the attitude assuming because of the drink which felt like she ripped it away to which was fixed. A new couple sat down got their drinks and their food. We made eye contact but felt ignored. We grabbed our check and left. Went to 180 Vilano Grill and pizza where we spent $120 with great service and good food. Is a great spot and great food enough?? Let's start with the good. This place is right on the water across from the fishing pier. Hard to beat on a nice day. The food was great. I had fried redfish with tots and plantains everything came out fresh and was delicious. There were 5 of us and all the food was spot on. I noticed that they were carful about not over seating. It means you will have to wait a little longer but that they are not overloading their kitchen, the food will be better and it showed. Bravo! That was done well. Let's get into some of the things that could have been better. 1) they didn't have enough umbrellas and it's hot in the sun.. They were packed and clearly have the capital to buy more. This shouldn't be an issue. 2) the water was awful! Even with several lemons squeezed in it was pretty rough. This is an easy fix. 3) we walked over from the fishing pier. When you walk by the garbage/ recycling area it smells like rancid oil and there are employees smoking. It's not how you want to start your meal. This is another easy fix 4) this one is personal for me, our server was great. The other server in our section was not. One of his tables were friends/girlfriend or something and he kept hanging around while the rest of his tables watched and were somewhat neglected. Then he committed one of the deadly sins. He yelled at the hostess for adding more tables to his section and everyone heard him. It was completely inappropriate. I have a picture but will refrain from putting him on blast:) Overall I like this place and will definitely go back, in their defense they were really busy and did well. Next time I go will be mid week,I will order a beer and sit at the bar. I'm committed to writing honest reviews that are a reflection of MY experience.
