Was visiting the area and decided to give it try. Yelp reviews stated that it was a good place. Went on a Friday night and the place wasn't crowded at all. I had the create your own comb; headless shrimp and crab legs. Food was fresh and flavorful. I also had the calamari, which was fried and seasoned well.

Friendly staff! Clean establishment! Clean restrooms. The had a lot of different alcohol beverages , so that's great . We ordered seafood boils. My husband ordered a spicy crawfish with shrimp boil which had sausages , red potatoes, and corn. I had the house seasoning for my seafood boil and omg it was delish! Not spicy, garlic, butter and who knows what else but it was magic! This place is great if you love seafood boils!!!

Came in for lunch with my family on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty empty when we got there. The inside is in good shape and decorated nicely. We sat at a large booth and were waited on. After a round of drinks came, I ordered a basket of onion rings for a starter and then we ordered for everyone else. We tried to order some lunch items, but they don't do lunch items on the weekend. The menu is a little confusing and has a lot of misspellings. The onion rings are average. Two orders of chicken tenders and fries (ya know... kids). Everything was hot and cooked correctly, but the tenders are bland without a condiment of some sort. Two of the party ordered a 1lb "Get your hands dirty - shrimp (no head) to share which comes with the shrimp and two medium potatoes and a half-ear of corn. I tried the shrimp and found it to be good flavor and easy to peel. I ordered fried scallops with cajun fries. The scallops were alright. The cajun fries were cooked nicely but didn't really taste cajun-y (they were slightly more red than the other fries.) Aside from the shrimp, I think every single thing was frozen. The portion sizes were fine, but aside from the shrimp the flavors were bland. The service was average as well. Overall I came away having eaten but having no reason to ever come back.

I would see the billboard on I-95 outside St. Augustine, FL, so I gave it a try. I went during lunch so it wasn't too crowded. Enough room for large groups. Bar area available. Beer, wine, and cocktails are available. Overall, I enjoyed it. I got the Special Combo B and was satisfied with every bite. I got my moneys worth.

This would be considered a Hole in The Wall. Except that it is pretty big inside. Odd location: outside a tiny "mall". Clean and well kept. Plenty of parking. Safe. Good staff, and full bar with beer, wine, and liquor! Food is outstanding: low country boil! So good, we went two days in a row!

While visiting St Augustine, I had a craving for seafood. I saw a billboard for this place driving into town and thought I have to try it out! It is a seafood boil type place. I was greeted right away with no wait time. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She was fantastic with my son, who's not a seafood lover yet. I ordered a build your own boil with 1/2 lb of shrimp (no head), 1/2 lb of green mussels and 1/2 lb of sausage. They have different seasons to choose from, such as Cajun, house seasoning and lemon pepper. You can also choose the spiciness level. I went with mild lemon pepper and it did not disappoint! They bring out a waste bucket to put your shells and shrimp skin in as you East, as well as a bib, gloves and hand wipes. Everything was delicious! Would return a thousand times over!

Great spot for all the seafood lovers! The restaurant was quiet when we came on a Sunday night. St. Pattys to be exact. Our waitress was nice, inside was plain but had beautiful portraits of spices and vegetables. Prices were fair and food was great . Give them a try.

First things first, like all good seafood this isn't cheap, at all. There were four of us and the bill was almost $218. I had the Special C- $52, but probably the best bang for your buck. Very good waitstaff, always kept our drinks full. Nice clean restaurant. When I left here I was as full as I've ever been!

There was no one at hostess stand because system was down and they were having troubles which I felt bad for the hostess who seemed stressed on obviously a busy night. They were out of both of the entrees we wanted, which was unfortunate but I ended up getting the catch beurre blanc and it was delicious. I ordered a sangria but our drinks took a very long time to come out, after our appetizer (crab, an heirloom tomato bruschetta which was yummy and more filling than regular bruschetta!) Overall, the food was really good and waitress was nice, but water was never refilled and everything took a really long time to come out. Would love to try it again on a regular night and hopefully they have the entrees we wanted to try:)

Catch 27 - St. Augustine, FL…read more Came to St. Augustine with a group and Catch 27 was suggested for dinner. Great choice. I checked the Yelp reviews ahead of time and it definitely lived up to them. People in our group started with drinks and everyone at the table seemed happy with what they ordered. I had the red wine braised beef brisket for my main and it was excellent, very tender and full of flavor. My friend Damon next to me had the red snapper and I tried some of that too. Also very good. Someone else at the table had the Rockefeller crusted snapper and that looked and tasted great as well. For appetizers, I had the shaved pear and blue cheese salad. It was really good and honestly enough for two people to share as an appetizer. People at the table also ordered the Devils on Horseback and liked them. I do not eat bacon, but they were happy with that dish. The deviled eggs with southern fried oysters looked really good, and I had the smoked salmon spread, which was very good too. I also saw the shrimp and grits come out for someone else and that dish looked excellent. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding and it was a strong finish to the meal. Others at the table ordered the seasonal crème brûlée, which was chocolate that night. It looked great and everyone who had it said it was very good. Sunny was our waitress and she did an exceptional job. Attentive, kind, and on top of everything the whole night. In my mind this is about a 4.7 star experience, and I am rounding it up to a full 5 stars. Catch 27 is a great choice in St. Augustine.

So I was brought to this truck by the truck king himself Mark, to try it out! :) he never steers me wrong! We got a shrimp po boy, Cajun crawfish roll, and some beignets. What a treat!! The shrimp were nice big shrimp fried covered In a dill sauce, yum, tasted great. The Crawfish roll was actually my favorite, this was very similar to a lobster roll, but with crawfish in a mayo based sauce on a eggy kinda roll that was toasted on the outside. The crawfish had no tinge of funkiness, just fresh meat swimming in a nice slightly seasoned sauce. I could have eaten both easily! Lastly beignets! I rarely get to eat these, so I savored theses little fried pillows of yumminess!! You can pick a sauce to top them we got cinnamon roll, cinnamon and vanilla cream cheese sauces (?) yea you can't go wrong with fried dough! The people running this truck were wonderful, helpful and friendly! I would definitely eat here again next time I see them rolling by!

Awesome theme and…read morepaint job) To say the least I was excited recently to see it roll up on the Southbank in downtown Jax! To say the least I'm a big fan of bold, spicy flavors, and this restaurant on wheels delivers just that. I opted for the buttered crawfish dish ($12) which came exactly as advertised! Peeled and buttered crawfish tails served over a warm bed of white rice. There was a heaping pile of crawfish and in my opinion plenty for two people to share. I loved the subtle heat and spices that build as you work your way through the dish. The crawfish were tender and NOT over-cooked! There is no culinary sin greater than making rubberized shrimp, lobster and crawfish. The best part (of course) is the little bit of warm liquified butter that collects at the bottom of the dish with the rice. Yum. Enjoy that for some well-deserved peace in your life. I would certainly recommend asking for some hot sauce on the side in case you like it even a little spicier. Fear not, cash and credit cards (via Square) are accepted. I will certainly be back next time I see this flavor train roll into town!

We ordered drinks and apps for a quick bite after the St. Augustine Music Festival. They do charge for chips and salsa, which is fine, especially if you're one of those Japanese World Cup fans who expects to pay. Highly recommend the jalapeno rellenos, the short rib taquitos, and the ceviche. It's not the best ceviche in terms of what you might expect from a Peruvian place, but it still hit the spot with plenty of leche de Tigre at the end. The Old City Margarita is delicious, as well as the Oh My Mezcal-based cocktail.
