Came here on Friday evening. They had seating available inside and outside. Very nice place. You order up front and then seat down and wait for your food. So service is not like at the fully seat down restaurant. Ambiance is pretty laid back and pleasant. They offer good quality seafood dishes and healthy options as well. I had grilled fish and instead of fries had rice. I also had some salad. All food was very tasty, the wait time wasn't too long. We definitely enjoyed our meal.

We have stopped here many times and it's always a nice place to walk in and grab a fresh bite. It's great for adults and kids plus they have a lot of indoor seating. You order at the counter and then go sit down and they will bring it to you. Tried the shrimp nachos this time and they were amazing. They also have a bar side that serves refreshing drinks and is a nice place to cool up when it's hot. Both sides have windows facing the street which is great for people watching. It's right in the heart of downtown so there's no close parking so heads up on that

Very filling! Seating indoor and outdoor. The guy behind the counter was very helpful! Just what you would expect for fried shrimp, fries and coleslaw. The catch of the day changes, to day was flounder. I heard a local recommend this place to someone, I wasn't disappointed. However it is pricey!

Cozy, lil spot that offers well-seasoned, fresh seafood! The employees greet you the moment you walk in, & the prices are true to the area! Hint: The Conch Fritters & Shrimp Nachos are to die for!

Not far from the oldest wooden schoolhouse is this spot on St. George St. You can only access it on foot and there is no parking nearby. This place is definitely not worth a trip there on its own. However, if you're in the historic area already, then you're good to go. Be aware this place is totally open - door, large windows, etc., so if you're looking for somewhere cool to escape the heat, this really isn't it. Plus, because of the open door/windows the place is teeming with flies. Not super fun to battle while you eat. You order at the counter, give you a number, and they bring your order to you (like Culver's if you've ever been there). There's nothing for vegan or plant-based friends without lots of substitutions, so don't bother - too many other food spots around. Okay... so the food. Good. Tasty. My daughter was excited about the shrimp nachos - served on top of blue corn tortilla chip. She found the jalapeños overpowering, but she doesn't love spicy food and easily picked most off. She enjoyed it and was said it was filling. The conch fritters were VERY hot out of the fryer - be wary of that. They were good with large pieces of discernible conch. The green goddess salad was good too, but had waaay too much cheese dumped on one side. Still, it was nice to have an option with baby kale and other lettuces. The thicker carrot match sticks were a bit long with no knife to cut them, so be prepared to go through a bunch of napkins as you maneuver them into your face!

I wish I could say 5 stars for the oysters (they were fresh and not too small) but the service and the ambience brings it down to a 3. Given, it was a Night of Lights evening so it was busy, but it was taking a long time to get hot water and they couldn't move us to a different seat due to theit tipping system. Other than the oysters, the rest of the food quality/size was tourist-grade in a bad way. My friend and I got clam chowder, shrimp tacos, and catch of the day. Not terrible, not great is the verdict.

We were craving seafood and found this fast casual spot! Ordering was a breeze, you order at the counter and sit down while the food is brought out. They had many food options including soups, salads and sandwiches. We ordered a clam chowder and a blacked fish basket to share. The clam chowder was delicious! Very thick and lots of clam and potatoes, my favorite! The blackened fish basket was a great portion and came with a side of fries, two fish pieces, and a side of coleslaw. The coleslaw was different than the slaw that I'm used to (no mayo) but it was still delicious. The fish was cooked well and not dry but well seasoned. Finally, I was obsessed with the fries! Highly recommend stopping by for a fast casual seafood spot!

This place was good! I got the fresh catch basket and subbed the slaw for black beans. Also got the Coconut Key Lime Colada to drink, which was really really good. Food took a bit to come out but it was worth the wait I'd say.

Bloody Mary's. Very good. Get em!

Actually was pretty good. Saw on the menu oysters on the half shell. Thats what brought us in. Market price and a bit pricy but still good to have. Service was good. Had to ask for additional napkins. I had the mahi mahi grilled tacos. Loaded and nice filet in them. Messy so definitely needed the extra napkins. Cyndi had the blackened shrimp basket and they looked great. Started off with a GREAT bloody mary. Overall good all the way around. Nice place sitting outside. Just the market price was a bit of an ouch for the oysters.

The place is rustic looking tables wood tables covered grape vines in the outside sitting area . I started with the fried shrimp , plater with fries they were ok I don't like the batter that much it was a bit spicy and a bit dry. We also got the fried fish plater the fish was good and the fries also it was just a bit to small for the price , our server was great and we loved the atmosphere if it's relaxing away from all the crowds..

We walked around Colonial quarter looking for a restaurant that offers oysters. Saw oysters on their menu and walked into the courtyard. This restaurant is cute, we sat indoors and it felt very rustic Spanish feel. Raw oysters were fresh and the fried shrimp was also delicious. I ordered the ceasar salad to have something healthy. I can see myself back here drinking with friends in the courtyard.

It was a busy Saturday evening at the St Augustine Seafood Company and from service to food, they nailed it. The kitchen was swamped with both sit-down and to-go service being busy. But the food didn't take long to come out and was nice & hot. I had the Shrimp Basket. Got the shrimp fried and they tasted delicious. The Shrimp Tacos were also delicious. The fries were nice & crispy. Even tried the Lighthouse Lemonade which was a Peach flavor. That was good & refreshing. I always enjoy sitting outside especially when the weather is beautiful and you can hear the live bands off in the distance. I would return here many many times.

Perfect quick bite in the historic center of St. Augustine. Walked in on a whim for dinner and it was a little busy, but the staff were very attentive and friendly. The drinks were delicious and probably my favorite thing, but I did enjoy the Anchor burger.

The combination of imaginative cocktails, exceptional food, and a unique atmosphere makes every visit memorable. The cocktail program is outstanding. We enjoy trying a variety of their exotic and inventive drinks, and they never disappoint. The flavors are bold, creative, and unlike anything you'll find at a typical restaurant bar. The Yellow Submarine cocktail is quite possibly the best drink I have ever consumed. Made with curry-infused Bermuda black rum, lime, ginger, and Asian five-spice brown sugar syrup, it sounded unusual on paper but came together beautifully. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered four of them that evening, something I rarely do. That was three years ago, and despite returning several times since then, I have never seen it on the menu again. The food is equally impressive. Two years ago, I ordered the Skillet Roasted New York Strip served with Yukon Gold potato-anna, roasted asparagus and spring onions, watercress, and black truffle hollandaise. To this day, it remains one of the top five restaurant meals I have ever eaten. Every component on the plate was exceptional. The steak was perfectly prepared, the crispy potato galette was irresistible, and the black truffle hollandaise elevated the entire dish to another level. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after the plate is cleared. I would gladly drive 300 miles just to eat it again. Most recently, I had the wild mushroom bisque, and it was the best soup I have ever consumed. Rich, creamy, buttery, intensely mushroomy, and perfectly balanced, it was everything a mushroom soup should be. The addition of crispy pickled onions and crème fraîche added texture and contrast that made an already outstanding soup even better. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we returned the very next day hoping to order it again, only to discover it had already rotated off the menu. My only complaint about The Ice Plant is that some of their greatest creations seem to disappear as quickly as they arrive. While I appreciate the constantly evolving menu and understand that seasonal changes are part of what makes the restaurant special, there are certain items that deserve a permanent home. The Yellow Submarine cocktail, the wild mushroom bisque, and the Skillet Roasted New York Strip with black truffle hollandaise are three of the finest things I have experienced there. The fact that I can vividly remember one of these items from three years ago and another from two years ago says everything. Great restaurants serve good food. Truly special restaurants create dishes and drinks that stay with you for years. The Ice Plant has done that for me more than once, and that is why we continue to return whenever we visit St. Augustine.

When I arrived with my pregnant wife and my service dog, he asked somewhat curtly if it was a service dog. After I confirmed and thanked him, he rudely placed the menu on the table, turned around without saying another word or showing any basic courtesy, and just walked away with his back to us. It was a pretty cold and uncomfortable welcome. That said, the restaurant is absolutely charming. I really loved the interior ambiance--it's cozy, well-decorated, and has a very pleasant vibe. The food was extremely delicious. We ordered the Half Pound Ice Plant Burger and it was juicy, fresh, and packed with flavor. You could taste the quality in every single bite--the meat was perfect, the ingredients fresh, and everything very well balanced. Definitely one of the best burgers I've had recently. Despite the initial host experience, I would return without hesitation for the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended, but they could improve the initial greeting.
