Grouper tacos
Debbie M.

We had lunch today in the patio. Very beach-bar vibe with indoor seating, and outdoor seating out front or on the second floor. I imagine you can see the beach from upstairs. I had a bucket Dragon Fruit Margarita. It was tasty, and a good value for $10! We shared the shrimp nachos and the grouper tacos with Gouda grits. The Gouda grits were excellent. The grouper tacos were good, but the market price of the day was a bit high. Still, good eats and cooked perfectly. The nachos weren't that great. The shrimp did not have much taste, the beans and other things on the chips were sort of dry and the 'cheese' didn't taste at all like cheese. It was not finished. Our server was very friendly, but items were pretty slow getting to the table. In all, a fun, beachy place to eat. Apparently they have live music. We were dining outside on a weekday.

Clam chowder, you have to get it & see why it's famous! So good!

SERVICE: Our waitress was very nice & quick. Our drinks were brought out right away & were delicious! We both enjoyed my clam chowder ( bowl) & then my salad came. I was a little disappointed that there were a few badly wilted lettuce leaves, but it was mostly good. Our dinners came out hot & fresh mine was the stuffed shrimp, it was very good, very flavorful! My husband had the coconut shrimp, I'm not a big fan but had a sample. It was pretty good. We were both too full to have dessert.they do breakfast also!! The inside of this restaurant looks laid back, either date night ready or jeans & a tee attire. It could go either way.

We really wanted to like this place more. The look, the music, the location & the vibe were nice. Service was pretty good & fast paced. Unfortunately Most of our food was not up to par or worth the money. The coconut shrimp was basic but the dipping sauce really made it better. The Mac & cheese came out refrigerator cold & The onions straws (rings) were pretty cold as well. The fries were pretty good & hot. The blackened chicken with the pasta was good & flavorful. Definitely the best dish of the table. I really just recommend this place for the vibe & getting something light to share or I did see they had a few good breakfast time reviews.

Across the street from Publix beach access. All day happy hour with good daily specials. Mike is excellent bartender and took good care of us. Had several drinks and grazed on multiple appetizers and an order of fish and chips. All excellent. Would come again. Forgot to take pics of food - we ate it too quickly.

Date night at Crabby's Beachside on St Augustine Beach. The fried shrimp dinner and Key Lime Pie was amazing! Our server was friendly and delightful. The newest restaurant in the Beachside Hospitality Group family brands, Crabby's Beachside is bringing casual, coastal dining to America's oldest city. Located just across the street from the beach, join us for indoor or outdoor dining, with ocean views from the first and second floor. Open daily for lunch and dinner, with daily Happy Hour drink specials, we're sure Crabby's Beachside will be your new favorite spot on St. Augustine Beach.

This is a good seafood restaurant in St. Augustine that is similar to Joe's Crab Shack. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a view of the beach as you would think it would by the name. Outside the front door, you can play jenga or corn hole. After checking in the front, there's a cute little shop where you can get T-shirts. They have lots to offer on the drink menu. I saw a review that they have the best calamari in the world which I wouldn't say was the case, but it's decent. It only includes the body (no tentacles which is my favorite part) but it was perfectly cooked with a good batter and also includes fried jalapeños which was a great addition. The sauce was a remoulade type sauce (I prefer marinara with my calamari) that wasn't too bad. I got the house salad with shrimp. Their lettuce was really fresh and overall great salad. The shrimp had too much bay seasoning on it in my opinion. My husband ordered the fish and chips which I thought was delicious! The batter on it was super crispy and full of flavor. He thought the tartar sauce had too much dill and not enough pickles. Overall, we felt all the sauces like tartar and ranch tasted too watered down. They had great options for the kids. We ordered chicken fingers and mac & cheese and broccoli as sides for both. Our kids ate all the broccoli, which is a plus and tells you they have great broccoli Nicole was a great server. We never had to wait to long to get what we needed. The kids op

We had dinner here this past Thursday and it was great! There's indoor and outdoor seating available and the restaurant has its own lot for parking. If you really liked your meal - they also have several shirts and hats for purchase near the host stand for a souvenir. We walked in and were quickly seated. Service was good and everything was clean. We started with an order of the Calamari and crab spinach dip. Both were delicious. They didn't stand a chance with our group and were quickly devoured. Three of us got the Seafood Feast boil and then one went with the shrimp trio. The seafood feast boil was MASSIVE and included crab legs, shrimp, sausage and corn. It also comes with a side. It was so good. Definitely choose your attire carefully if you go with the boils, because they're messy, haha. The shrimp trio was really good as well. The shrimp all in all was just super fresh tasting. At the end of our meal, I feel like it took a moment to get our check. But other than that, everything was pretty solid.

This place was ok. I love St. Augustine and all the amazingly good restaurants. This one unfortunately represents a "touristy style" restaurant (meaning they are catering to tourists and not concerned about the quality of their food). It was ok food, but not the top notch seafood you normally get on the Atlantic coast. Any time someone brings me a boil in a bag, I know it's not going to be good. Huge disappointment. We sat at the bar. The beer was good. The bartender was nice. Would we go back? Maybe, but unlikely.

Food was amazing. Highly suggest the shrimp and grits or the crab cake benedict. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. $5 Bloody Marys and Mimosas before 11:30! Outdoor seating is nice with an ocean breeze.

The mahi sandwich was really good. The sauce made the meal. The mahi tacos were ok, but there wasn't a lot of meat in the tacos. The cheeseburger was 'better than McDonalds' according to my daughter. The service was ok. We waited outside for about 10 minutes and finally had to track down a server to take our orders. After getting started the service was fine. The ambiance was great for lunch outside. We will probably go somewhere else next time.

Food was amazing! Did not disappoint. Calamari, shrimp avocado ceviche, Seafood Feast (plenty to share), and crab roll!!!

** edited to add our waitress' name! Forgot to write a review from our visit this past summer - and unfortunately I can't remember our server's name so many months later. We've driven by Crabby's many times and decided to just give a shot since my son was hangry and we were in the area. Got a parking spot and despite being pretty busy were seated almost immediately upstairs by the railing so we had a great view of the ocean. I tend to agree with the reviews that say the portions weren't very large for the price. If you look at the pictures you can see there's very few fries in the fish and chips basket, and not that much fish either. That being said I'm not sure I need to be eating a ton of fried food anyway - but if they want an easy way to improve I would say to be more generous with the portions and go with better quality fries. Everything we had was good - for a chain by the beach it was solid. My son and husband loved their drinks - my son got a bucket of something because it was on special, totally worth it as it cost less than getting 2 drinks. Our waitress Sarah K was extremely attentive and funny - we really enjoyed our banter with her and would come back just because of how great she was. For a no brainer meal where everyone can find something they like at a decent price you can't really go wrong here; just know this isn't a gourmet spot.

Foods ok but it's a beachside attraction restaurant. So you get decent food but if you're going there for great seafood don't.

Therefore, this gets a long wait for breakfast/brunch. It's hard to get a parking spot but there's free parking across the street. They have a big waiting area next to the restaurant which is definitely needed as we ended up waiting like 45 minutes around 9:30 am on a Saturday. The food was definitely worth the wait though. I got the burrito smothered with sauce and cheese and the flavor was fantastic. Flavorful but not super spicy or anything. It's also HUGE. Highly recommend. Service is a little questionable, if it was quicker they could probably help with their long wait. It was hard to flag down our girl when we needed something & it took ages to get to check.

The staff were very kind and attentive to our needs like coffee refills! I like that the coffees had unlimited refills (iced coffee and a hot drip coffee were the coffee options). I ordered the breakfast burrito with the additions of the pork sausage, red chili sauce, cheese, and scallions. It was very good! It did come out a bit cold so I think it may have been sitting for a little while on the window. My friend's Zada Jane's stack was pretty good as well. The sweet potatoes were cooked perfectly and the frittata hit the spot. I wasn't a fan of the peach butter for the biscuit but we definitely could've asked for a different type of butter but chose not to. I don't think the food was worth waiting one hour to just be seated, but it was a good breakfast :)

The venue is on A1A, right by St Augustine Beach. This was our first time there. They serve food but we had dinner beforehand, so we only had drinks. It's a nice little venue though. The show itself was awesome and Mick was so nice to meet afterwards! Why am I giving a 5 star review when we didn't even try their food? I'm at fortunate to know a few people that many would consider to be famous in the world of music. I have tagged along with them when they've done meet & greets at venues of various sizes from hundreds of fans to thousands of fans. Many, MANY venues handle these things very poorly. It ends up leaving fans feel as if the artist doesn't care about them when it's actual the venue that is unprepared and/or is treating the fans that dirt. That was absolutley NOT the case at Cafe Eleven. Every person we encountered from the staff seemed genuinely concerned with making sure the fans had a good experience. For us, this started a week prior when they took the time to email us to double check something about our order because our order was a bit odd. My wife paid for part of the order and our friends paid for the other half. The venue actually took the time to reach out to make sure we knew everything needed to match up. We did know that ahead of time but the fact that they even bothered was a touch I don't think I've ever heard of another venue taking the time to do. Well done Cafe Eleven! Based on that alone, I wouldn't think twice about driving down from Jacksonville next time there's an event at Cafe Eleven that I'm interested in.
