Was a little skeptical because it's a chain, at the beach, and these places tend to underwhelm. Not Crabby's! Great service & portions. Loved the mahi with red shrimp. Perfectly cooked. Came with two sides, I got slaw & fries which were both tasty. Only complaint is I believe the plate was supposed to come with two conch fritters but didn't receive them. Was so into the food I didn't notice until I was too full to care. My dining companion enjoyed her boom boom shrimp tacos. A very pleasant experience overall and would dine here again. Thanks!

We had lunch today in the patio. Very beach-bar vibe with indoor seating, and outdoor seating out front or on the second floor. I imagine you can see the beach from upstairs. I had a bucket Dragon Fruit Margarita. It was tasty, and a good value for $10! We shared the shrimp nachos and the grouper tacos with Gouda grits. The Gouda grits were excellent. The grouper tacos were good, but the market price of the day was a bit high. Still, good eats and cooked perfectly. The nachos weren't that great. The shrimp did not have much taste, the beans and other things on the chips were sort of dry and the 'cheese' didn't taste at all like cheese. It was not finished. Our server was very friendly, but items were pretty slow getting to the table. In all, a fun, beachy place to eat. Apparently they have live music. We were dining outside on a weekday.

Came for dinner and sat on the upstairs patio area, it did take a while for us to be greeted/brought waters after being seated. My friend and I enjoyed our salads, great portions and nice and fresh. However my other friend didn't like the grouper tacos. Overall it was a nice ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating and live music at night; at least the Tuesday evening we went, but overall a decent place

Loved this restaurant's vibe and the service was spectacular! We enjoyed the Onion Rings; you can get them FREE thru the Coupon Book. Glad we did, they are THE BEST Onion Rings!! They come out Hot, with a perfect Crunch to onion bite. We were in a hurry and shared a burger with those onion rings. The burger perfectly cooked & presented as a shared item.

Clam chowder, you have to get it & see why it's famous! So good!

SERVICE: Our waitress was very nice & quick. Our drinks were brought out right away & were delicious! We both enjoyed my clam chowder ( bowl) & then my salad came. I was a little disappointed that there were a few badly wilted lettuce leaves, but it was mostly good. Our dinners came out hot & fresh mine was the stuffed shrimp, it was very good, very flavorful! My husband had the coconut shrimp, I'm not a big fan but had a sample. It was pretty good. We were both too full to have dessert.they do breakfast also!! The inside of this restaurant looks laid back, either date night ready or jeans & a tee attire. It could go either way.

We really wanted to like this place more. The look, the music, the location & the vibe were nice. Service was pretty good & fast paced. Unfortunately Most of our food was not up to par or worth the money. The coconut shrimp was basic but the dipping sauce really made it better. The Mac & cheese came out refrigerator cold & The onions straws (rings) were pretty cold as well. The fries were pretty good & hot. The blackened chicken with the pasta was good & flavorful. Definitely the best dish of the table. I really just recommend this place for the vibe & getting something light to share or I did see they had a few good breakfast time reviews.

Date night at Crabby's Beachside on St Augustine Beach. The fried shrimp dinner and Key Lime Pie was amazing! Our server was friendly and delightful. The newest restaurant in the Beachside Hospitality Group family brands, Crabby's Beachside is bringing casual, coastal dining to America's oldest city. Located just across the street from the beach, join us for indoor or outdoor dining, with ocean views from the first and second floor. Open daily for lunch and dinner, with daily Happy Hour drink specials, we're sure Crabby's Beachside will be your new favorite spot on St. Augustine Beach.

Service was great! Food was good. Cold slaw was great had pineapple in it which was a nice change. Entertainment was lacking.

This is a good seafood restaurant in St. Augustine that is similar to Joe's Crab Shack. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a view of the beach as you would think it would by the name. Outside the front door, you can play jenga or corn hole. After checking in the front, there's a cute little shop where you can get T-shirts. They have lots to offer on the drink menu. I saw a review that they have the best calamari in the world which I wouldn't say was the case, but it's decent. It only includes the body (no tentacles which is my favorite part) but it was perfectly cooked with a good batter and also includes fried jalapeños which was a great addition. The sauce was a remoulade type sauce (I prefer marinara with my calamari) that wasn't too bad. I got the house salad with shrimp. Their lettuce was really fresh and overall great salad. The shrimp had too much bay seasoning on it in my opinion. My husband ordered the fish and chips which I thought was delicious! The batter on it was super crispy and full of flavor. He thought the tartar sauce had too much dill and not enough pickles. Overall, we felt all the sauces like tartar and ranch tasted too watered down. They had great options for the kids. We ordered chicken fingers and mac & cheese and broccoli as sides for both. Our kids ate all the broccoli, which is a plus and tells you they have great broccoli Nicole was a great server. We never had to wait to long to get what we needed. The kids op

As others have noted, it's not technically on the beach but it's beach adjacent and it was convenient to walk to from our hotel. We went for a late lunch/early dinner so the crowd was thin (just like we like it). I ordered the Shrimp & Grits with a House Salad and my husband ordered the Fish & Chips with mac & cheese. Salad was good, just a standard house salad, but I did immediately remove the red onion strips on top (too strong for my taste). Shrimp & Grits were great and I appreciated their use of baby shrimp in the grits instead of just placing 5 large shrimp on top. My husband, on the other hand, did not care for his Fish & Chips, but he said it was on him: the menu plainly says the fish is beer battered, which he doesn't like, but he said it didn't register with him until he tasted it. He said, "the service and quality of food was really good - it's not their fault I'm picky." Oh, but he also had a Florida Sunset drink and he said that was very good! Our server was great, really fast and friendly. And by the time we finished. It started filling up, so you can tell it's a popular place. We'd go back, but he might get something other than beer battered fish.

Ended up coming to Crabby's after a long day of athletic competition. Tired and hungry and in need of a beer(s) (uhhh and tequila shot). Walked upstairs and sat ourselves at the bar. The bartender (Mike) was the host that every worn out and weary group could ever hope for. He's personable, funny, kind, and quick to take care of you. We got some beers... can't remember the name of the beer but it was Crabby's own IPA. Legit great and we ended up actually tapping it out. Calamari and conch are really well made. It's not next level but it's fried apps so what would you expect? One of us got crab and we shared it a bit. Excellent excellent. And the grits are good. Overall, the next time we are nearby, Crabbys will be at the very top of our list for this kind of beach bar style restaurant. And we will be looking to see if Mikes behind the bar.

We had dinner here this past Thursday and it was great! There's indoor and outdoor seating available and the restaurant has its own lot for parking. If you really liked your meal - they also have several shirts and hats for purchase near the host stand for a souvenir. We walked in and were quickly seated. Service was good and everything was clean. We started with an order of the Calamari and crab spinach dip. Both were delicious. They didn't stand a chance with our group and were quickly devoured. Three of us got the Seafood Feast boil and then one went with the shrimp trio. The seafood feast boil was MASSIVE and included crab legs, shrimp, sausage and corn. It also comes with a side. It was so good. Definitely choose your attire carefully if you go with the boils, because they're messy, haha. The shrimp trio was really good as well. The shrimp all in all was just super fresh tasting. At the end of our meal, I feel like it took a moment to get our check. But other than that, everything was pretty solid.

Crabby's baked oysters (left) and Oysters crabafella (right)

We came here for dinner on Sunday night. For being a weekend day, it wasn't crowded at all and they even had live music. The vibe was casual and low-key. We tried the clam chowder, the Alaskan crab roll, and Crabby's baked oysters. Everything was very tasty and they really stuff that crab roll! We also got lucky because the kitchen got our order of baked oysters wrong, so we ended up with what we ordered plus oysters crabafella. The servers were apologetic about the extra wait time for Crabby's baked oysters and brought out the oysters crabafella at no charge. Both were delicious; however, I liked Crabby's baked oysters more. Overall, a very good experience.

My daughter got the stuffed flounder with corn casserole as we called it, as her side. It was delicious! Probably the best thing ordered! Tacos and kids grilled fish was great too! Definitely a solid amount of fish nuggets in the taco. The fries were some of the best ive ever had. For the seafood feast, we ordered scampi style and it was good, but it reminded me of a clam sauce style, not really buttery and garlicky. It was still good, but what disappointed me was the melted plastic bag served at the table. It was difficult to open, even our server had trouble opening. Idk why everyone loves serving food in plastic bags. It's sooo hot from the steam that plastic leaches into the food. I don't get the infatuation with this, unless you're ordering to go. The fans upstairs are a nice and necessary touch and not too hot up there, despite being summer in July. I would go back and order the stuffed flounder again! Seriously, that was the best thing we ordered. Ashley was johnny on the spot too!

The crab bisque fries were crispy and the bisque tasty. The lobster ravioli was SO good. I usually do not like cheese with seafood but this worked perfectly. It was creamy, savory, slightly sweet from the crab and shrimp cheese sauce it comes in which perfectly complemented the very stuffed lobster ravioli. The fish and wedges were really good too. Fish was meaty and crispy, wedges tasted roasted instead of fried and the coleslaw was creamy, crunchy and sweet. As a bonus, the tartar sauce was good too. Our server (Josh?) was very attentive, polite, friendly and quick. The menu isn't huge but I would come back if I'm in the area again. From bow to stern (nautical theme here) this was just a bad experience across the board! Our waiter had zero personality and acted as if he really didn't want to be there, the food was bad, and the cost was far more than the value provided. A rainy Sunday night and not very crowded - maybe 4 - 5 tables, but somehow our food managed to get lost in the kitchen and we waited way too long for food that was (in my case) completely inedible. My wife ordered the fresh catch halibut dinner grilled, and I ordered a blackened grouper sandwich. Both entrees were heavily salted; my wife tried to wipe the seasoning off her filet, which was at least decent sized. My sandwich contained the thinnest, saltiest piece of fish I'd ever been served, and I only managed a couple bites before giving up. My wife's filet wasn't fully cooked, and since we weren't eating sushi-grade fish, my wife was concerned about that. When she told our waiter he barely glanced at her plate and his response was "That's cooked. Some people are just finicky about the texture." "Finicky??" Are you sh**ing me?? How about saying "I'm sorry, would you like me to have it cooked more?" She also pointed at my sandwich and said that it was so salty I couldn't eat it, and all he said was "I'll be back." At least he didn't tell me I was being "finicky". The manager came over shortly after and explained that our server told him we weren't pleased with our meal. My wife explained the issues and his response "Too salty? I know who that is. One of our guys over-salts a lot. I'll talk to him." He then apologized and offered to get us something else, but I declined and said I was done. He vaguely pointed at our food and said he would "discount it". While we waited for the bill my wife took what was left of her fish to the house cat sitting on the patio, and the cat wouldn't even eat it! I'm sorry Mr manager, but if you know that one of your employees has issues with preparing food correctly... either educate them or replace them! Don't apologize and admit you're aware of bad food coming out of your kitchen! And then the topper - our bill came and a whopping $13.50 was discounted from almost $90! He didn't even take off the full cost of my sandwich which was still sitting on my plate! We usually try to give benefit of the doubt to restaurants, but this experience was bad enough that we both agreed we will NOT return. This is a prime example of why zero stars should be allowed!

Now that we've officially moved here, we've been back about three more times, and somehow I love it more every time. If you enjoy seafood and New Orleans-style food, this is definitely a place to put on your St. Augustine list! The service has always been good, the drinks are great, and yes, there's usually a wait, but honestly, it goes by pretty quickly. We typically grab a drink and hang outside while we wait for our buzzer to go off, which makes the wait feel much more enjoyable. I have a few favorites here that I find myself coming back to: Redfish Alexandria, absolutely delicious and one of my favorites. Andouille Crusted Grouper , another standout if you're looking for something flavorful and seafood-focused. My first choice now that the low country pasta isn't available Crab Cakes, always a good choice for appetizer. Low Country Pasta, this was a special during their Mardi Gras menu, and I was SO SAD to find out it wasn't a regular menu item because I would order this all the time! My first choice And please save room for dessert because the fried Oreos are a MUST-TRY! For drinks, you really can't go wrong, we've had a few of their signature drinks, but the Cucumber Martini was one of my favorites. Refreshing, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering! The restrooms are conveniently located both upstairs and downstairs. Parking in this part of St. Augustine can be a little difficult, but that's pretty typical for the area and definitely wouldn't stop me from coming here. Overall, Harry's has become one of those places we're happy to keep coming back to. Great food, fun atmosphere, good drinks, and plenty of New Orleans-inspired seafood dishes to choose from. Definitely worth checking out when you're visiting St. Augustine!

The outdoor dining area is absolutely gorgeous and creates such a beautiful atmosphere. I ordered the Mahi with arugula and NOLA rice, and it was phenomenal! The Cajun flavors were delicious with just the right amount of spice. The food was reasonably priced, and everything came out quickly. Our server was fabulous, friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Gorgeous atmosphere, incredible Cajun food, fair prices and fabulous service. We highly recommend Harry's and cannot wait to go back!

The atmosphere is laid-back…read moreand beachy, exactly what you'd expect from a place called Salt Life, but the food ended up being even better than I expected. We started with both the Lobster Butter Grilled Oysters and Crab Baked Oysters, and both were GREAT. For our entrée we had the Surf & Turf with filet medallions and lobster, and that was PERFECT. The filet was cooked just right, the lobster was delicious, and everything worked really well together. We definitely tried our share of the drink menu too . We had the Elevated Patrón Margarita, Papa's Lunch, and a strawberry daiquiri, and every drink was on point. Between the oysters, that surf & turf, the drinks and the relaxed coastal atmosphere, we had a really good experience here. Salt Life is definitely somewhere I'd come back to the next time we're in St. Augustine!

Updated September 8, 2026…read more We came back here because we love the location on the beach. Came in for lunch. We sat on the roof and my wife ordered a sweet tea. It smelled very strange like mold. The server went and got one from downstairs and it tasted normal. So the upstairs teapot must not be cleaned.. You can read all of my reviews. I'm very rarely write a negative review. Oil ordered these avocado fries for an appetizer. It's clear they fry them in the same oil as the fish because these avocado fries taste extremely fishy I would not recommend. The Poké bowl is always good as is to tuna tostada. The first order of tacos came out cold. Charity took them back and brought them again the chicken and fish were hot but the beef was ice cold she brought them back the second time the cheese would not even melt on the beef.
