The food is good a bit pricey for seafood. Schooners had the same food at half the price. That said the service is friendly the staff are getting used to their ordering system. Ambiance is very nice indoor and outdoor. I'd say they are still in soft opening phase so we will come back. I've had the blackened shrimp twice now. The second time de shelled including tails. Very nice although they missed some legs and shells and I easily peeled it off but that meant seasoning came off too. And some people are bothered by shells. I'm not that picky but whoever is shelling the shrimp needs to be more careful.

Chicken sandwich special.

A week later and things are gelling.. my wife's fried shrimp were cooked perfectly and a nice sized serving!! I tired the jerk mahi and it was good but expecting more traditional from a Jamaican chef Maybe they need to ask you levels like in a Thai restaurant. I told them that they "can't hurt me" but it can out American spicy .. aka. Not very spicy. Service was good and the staff is learning Will return to see how they come along.

What a gem of a spot. I was so glad to have been able to get a reservation here for 6 people same…read moreday because it did not disappoint! The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I had mentioned two guests had a birthday in my reservation and they put two birthday notecards on the table, this was a lovely touch. The ambiance outside was perfect, wasn't loud at all and lighting was moody. I had a Ruby Fizz Mocktail and it was one of the best mocktails I have ever had. The others drinks were strong and good! The food was incredible. I highly recommend the scallop toast (we ordered it a second time because it was so good!) and bread service for starter. The table really liked the empanadas, I was not a huge fan (but, I am from Miami so my empanada taste buds are different LOL). The Rockefeller Snapper was incredible. Huge piece of yellowtail and just an overall unique dish. The Scallop Cavatelli had to have been one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. It was rich and decadent. I am not sure if they hand roll the pasta in house, but the pasta tasted so fresh. The table had some espresso martinis to end the night and I had a decaf French press coffee (I think he said French press). It was all delicious. Highly highly recommend.

There was no one at hostess stand because system was down and they were having troubles which I felt bad for the hostess who seemed stressed on obviously a busy night. They were out of both of the entrees we wanted, which was unfortunate but I ended up getting the catch beurre blanc and it was delicious. I ordered a sangria but our drinks took a very long time to come out, after our appetizer (crab, an heirloom tomato bruschetta which was yummy and more filling than regular bruschetta!) Overall, the food was really good and waitress was nice, but water was never refilled and everything took a really long time to come out. Would love to try it again on a regular night and hopefully they have the entrees we wanted to try:)

I was visiting from out of town and was craving seafood. I'm so glad I chose this spot because it…read morewas perfect! The weather was beautiful so my daughter and I sat outside. There was a live band playing cover songs and that was super fun listening to. There is a big fire pit in the middle, and the outdoor area is spacious. I ordered the seafood boil to share with my 5 yr old daughter and we both loved it! Service was great, no complaints at all. I had one drink , the linen drink which was gin based- it was delicious. Great spot, would love to go here again and bring my husband next time we are in town!

We just returned from what should have been a nice dinner and are still trying to wash the taste…read moreout of our mouths. From bow to stern (nautical theme here) this was just a bad experience across the board! Our waiter had zero personality and acted as if he really didn't want to be there, the food was bad, and the cost was far more than the value provided. A rainy Sunday night and not very crowded - maybe 4 - 5 tables, but somehow our food managed to get lost in the kitchen and we waited way too long for food that was (in my case) completely inedible. My wife ordered the fresh catch halibut dinner grilled, and I ordered a blackened grouper sandwich. Both entrees were heavily salted; my wife tried to wipe the seasoning off her filet, which was at least decent sized. My sandwich contained the thinnest, saltiest piece of fish I'd ever been served, and I only managed a couple bites before giving up. My wife's filet wasn't fully cooked, and since we weren't eating sushi-grade fish, my wife was concerned about that. When she told our waiter he barely glanced at her plate and his response was "That's cooked. Some people are just finicky about the texture." "Finicky??" Are you sh**ing me?? How about saying "I'm sorry, would you like me to have it cooked more?" She also pointed at my sandwich and said that it was so salty I couldn't eat it, and all he said was "I'll be back." At least he didn't tell me I was being "finicky". The manager came over shortly after and explained that our server told him we weren't pleased with our meal. My wife explained the issues and his response "Too salty? I know who that is. One of our guys over-salts a lot. I'll talk to him." He then apologized and offered to get us something else, but I declined and said I was done. He vaguely pointed at our food and said he would "discount it". While we waited for the bill my wife took what was left of her fish to the house cat sitting on the patio, and the cat wouldn't even eat it! I'm sorry Mr manager, but if you know that one of your employees has issues with preparing food correctly... either educate them or replace them! Don't apologize and admit you're aware of bad food coming out of your kitchen! And then the topper - our bill came and a whopping $13.50 was discounted from almost $90! He didn't even take off the full cost of my sandwich which was still sitting on my plate! We usually try to give benefit of the doubt to restaurants, but this experience was bad enough that we both agreed we will NOT return. This is a prime example of why zero stars should be allowed!

Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She always came around to make sure we were good and didn't need anything. She also made sure we didn't feel rushed even though they were busy We ordered - Oyster Rockefeller ($22): Overpriced for what you get. It was just ok but it didn't taste bad. Wouldn't get it again for the price. - Blackened Grouper (MP - $46): it came with a curry coconut rice with plantains and pickled onions. Honestly, I don't like curry but it was pretty good. Not too heavy in tumeric flavor and the plantains made it sweet. I think I preferred the dish without the curry, as a personal preference, but it was still pretty delicious. The blackened grouper had lots of spices and flavor. - Herb-Crusted Grouper (MP - $46): traded the sides for hush puppies and coconut rice. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The fish was glistening and fresh. The coconut rice had great flavor and not too sweet. The hush puppies hit the spot and they gave you a good amount. Overall, the restaurant is pretty expensive but the food is very delicious! The sunset views were to die for!

We walked in around 12 o'clock on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to sit at the bar with no challenges. Bar area is open seeing if you want a table you do have to check in. I started with a handmade Italian soda the ginger one and I love this because the ginger is very pronounced. It's very crisp and light. I also got an order of their soup of the season, which was a red curry. It was absolutely delicious. Had great flavor little spice at the end of it as well. For lunch, we split the fried chicken that comes with collard greens and whole cakes. The collard greens are by far one of the best that we have ever had. They use slab bacon and they're absolutely delicious. We've literally talked about them for years and they were just as good as we remembered. Fried chicken was nice and moist and the hocakes cakes were very sweet. For drinks, I tried one of the seasonal ones which was the witches of Eastwick. The gin based drink definitely was sweet, but exactly what I was looking for. My husband got an old-fashioned because they had black walnut bitters when he was really excited about.

Long waits are common for this spot. The interior is the old Ice Plant so it has great character. Not super large so limited dining spots within. Very high ceilings and though there were plenty of diners, it was overly loud. Great spot to enjoy the company you are with! Our server was top notch, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly but not trying to monopolize our table talk. We started with Cocktails which were all great. I went classic Old Fashioned, presentation AND taste were on point. We split the Crab Beignets order of 4. The breading on them was light and fluffy, the Crab tasty and they were cooked appropriately, no burns or underdone spots. For our main course, we elected to split 2 of the specials of the day so they may not be there when you go, but judging by the quality of the specials, any dish would be great. We had the Caesar Salad (which is like calling the Queen Mary2 a "boat"!). It is next level, 7 minute eggs, homemade croutons, Anchovie forward, all good! We also split an order of Shrimp Cake Sliders. These were huge, and the slaw that accompanied was the perfect match to the shrimp without overwhelming them. For dessert we settled on the Pineapple cake which also had coconut and all kinds of wonderful flavors going on! A really outstanding meal from beginning to end!
