King crab 1 lb.

I hadn't been to Outback Crabshack in over a decade since moving out of state. I was excited to hear they reopened and the new team did not disappoint. The deck overlooking the water was gorgeous, everything was shiny and new. I came on a Monday and unfortunately the snow crabs didn't arrive in their shipment that day. So I opted for the king crab despite the very high market price. It was absolutely delicious and the butter dip was perfect. Service was friendly and they were on top of all of our needs. I look forward to coming back the next time I am in town!

Yes we over ordered and not I'm not unhappy about it!

Way off the beaten path from where we were staying but the menu sounded amazing so off we headed. Drove for miles and miles it seamed. I was amazed we were still in St. Augustine but this was definitely worth the drive. Bonus for us Wednesday is 75 cent oysters! YIPPEE! We were famished and way over ordered but this was our last meal out on the last day of or honeymoon so we got all the goods! one dozen raw, one dozen steamed, conch fritters (the only think that was horrible, Mama Shaw needs to ditch that recipe and try again) Fried oyster platter, Steak tip bites, sides of yellow rice casserole, which was just yellow rice and Datil creamed corn casserole which was too sweet for me but great concept. A very nice outdoor bar with a few swings and a nice view of the water where we saw a gator. Strong Bloody Mary to boot and we were happy happy! We will find this place next time too!

Hot lobster roll...just like in Maine but with a better view!

Such a great summer spot. Sat at the bar on the swings which made the whole experience fun and different from your typical seafood place. The vibe is super laid-back, perfect for hanging out with friends and enjoying the weather. The bar staff were awesome friendly, attentive, and kept the drinks flowing. The coconut shrimp were a standout. Definitely a place I'd come back to for a casual night out by the water.

First time here since they reopened. The atmosphere is great- came on a beautiful Sunday afternoon when they had live music. Made a reservation for a table outside on the patio as it fills up quickly. The service was decent- our waitress was quick to fix an error with our kids food order. Had a large menu of both food and drinks. We ordered a few appetizers with our group (corn nuggets, edamame, oysters). For entrees, we all had a little something different: burgers, fish sandwich, ahi tuna, kids butter noodles, chicken strips). It's a little pricey but the portion sizes were good and we had leftovers. The kids enjoyed walking along the dock and seeing the boats. We would definitely come back more often if we lived a little closer.

We stopped in at Outback Crab Shack on our way into St Augustine. It's a great location right on the river with nice views and lots of space for groups. The service was friendly, but a little slow at times. We tried a lot of different food, and the highlights were the lobster roll, the fried shrimp, and cornbread. Definitely worth the trip.

A few days ago, my family tried Outback Crab Shack for the first time after hearing so much about it. I have to say, this place is an absolute gem! The food was bomb, and everything lived up to the hype. The only thing I'd change is the seating in regards to the booths. They could definitely be a bit more spacious. The tall men in our group had a hard time fitting their knees under the table, so if you're extra tall or extra plump, I'd recommend sitting outside. The service was great, and our waiter was really attentive. The swings at the bar added such a fun, unique touch to the outdoor area. The view of the water was beautiful too, and next time I come, I'll definitely sit outside to enjoy it fully. Outback Crab Shack is owned by the same folks who run Julington Fish House and Oyster Company (which I go to way too often), so I already knew I'd love their fried shrimp. I can confirm they're still the best in the Jacksonville area in my opinion. And if you know me, you know I'm a sucker for truffle fries... these did not disappoint! Overall, this spot perfectly combines great food, a laid-back atmosphere, and that true Florida charm. I'll definitely be back soon and next time by the water!

We cannot thank Outback Crabshack enough for hosting our kids wedding rehearsal dinner. The service Starla and Caleb provided was beyond phenomenal. We ordered from the menu and also had 25 boils. Our party of 45 waited maybe 20 minutes for fresh and tasty food! Those that couldn't eat seafood had plenty to choose from and it was equally as fresh. Thank you so much for an amazing time. We will keep coming back and will recommend over and over again! 10/10 doesn't feel like enough!

Our server Peyton took good care of us as we had a group of 17 for lunch. The food was well prepared but did take 25-30 minutes to serve us but it was ok as we weren't in a hurry. Outdoor seating on the deck was comfortable. Good music and friendly service.

Delicious food. From burgers and seafood to salads with steak bites.

The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent! Everything cooked perfectly. We sat outside and although the place was busy and we were a group of five, it didn't take long for our food to arrive. They have everything from burgers to seafood. The oysters were fabulous. The outside was nicely decorated and had ample shade as well as unshaded areas. The inside looked nice.

Sweet remake of this shack! Incredible views and renovations on this place. Same massive boat dock. The menu is upscale. $$$. Sometimes bar staff seems dedicated to ignoring customers sitting right there. Lol. No eye-contact, expressionless faces, minimal interaction. But, hey! Food is fantastic and that view. Yes!

We had a great visit for our anniversary lunch! We sat outside at the bar on a beautiful day. We had the roasted brussels sprouts as an appetizer and then we both had the shrimp, poor boy for lunch and on the side I had their pimento cheese grits. Absolutely fantastic! Our bartender was very personable and on top of it.

Ahi Tuna Appetizer

Driving up to the restaurant, we saw a very long line of parked cars and thought. Wow! If these cars are for customers, this place must be really good. We were able to find a spot to park on the lot and the hostess told us, yes, they are customers. She said the wait would be 45 minutes, so we sat at the bar and got beers and appetizers. Our beer tenders, Jesse and Steven were great. They were very busy all evening, but were attentive, friendly and got our orders taken quickly. It did take a bit to get the first of four appetizers we ordered, but the atmosphere is good and we were enjoying 2 local beers. We ordered the ahi tuna appetizer which was really good with a tasty wasabi sauce We also ordered the hush puppies with jam, which were very good along with some edamame and shrimp pot stickers. Overall, very good food and very good service and we ordered beignets to go. We also found out as we are leaving, they have a 100 boat dock that gets used a lot by customers who arrive by boat.

Learned about this place from a local who likes to eat here. This is a neighborhood bar and grill,…read moreno frills, just a full bar and great food. Our service was good. The margarita was good, not great, but pretty good. My husband had deviled crab with a baked potato and applesauce. I had the 2-item platter with shrimp and scallops. Both were absolutely delicious, came out hot and cooked to perfection. I had grits, and found them to be pretty good, but not real hot. I'm a picky southern gal and I don't mess around with my grits!! Green beans were excellent!! We will definitely come back if we are in the area again!

"Hey we'd love to be your friend." I think that's great. They were very knowledgeable with the menu, they answered all questions and let me tell you something. The specials were amazing! The four of us wound up getting the shrimp special for 1499, which included 20 butterfly shrimp anyway you'd like them grilled broiled or fried two sides and two hush puppies. What a fantastic deal the food arrived hot delicious and they also had half-price appetizers so I wound up getting the fried green tomatoes. Very healthy portion and tasted delicious. If you get a chance, check them out. They have good value, good food, great drinks, and good friends to be had.

We made an early reservation since we saw they do Happy Hour 4PM to 5:00PM everyday so we had to get in on that. We walked and and were seated at our table. They made sure to let us know you can sit anywhere during Happy Hour and still get the specials where many restaurants limit it to a bar area. Rustica does a great job of Happy Hour. They have appetizers, cocktails, beer, Sake, wine, and even main course happy hour entrees too. I started off with a cocktail going for the Liliko Martini which I really enjoyed. I have really been into my Passion Fruit drinks lately. We of course had to get some of the Happy Hour appetizers too and we might have gone a little overboard but for sure worth it. We got: The Naan Bread Yellow Beet Salad Crispy Tofu Roasted Pork Belly Bao Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia Japanese Style Fried Chicken These were a great way to start off dinner and not one of them were $8 or less. If I had to pick favorites the best was for sure the Roasted Pork Belly Bao. I think it might have been the best Pork Belly Bao I had ever had. I was a large thick piece of Pork Belly but it just melted you your mouth and had so much flavor. We also very much enjoyed the Crispy Pork and Shrimp Lumpia which were much bigger then expected. The Japanese Style Fried Chicken was great too and the BBQ Ranch took it to the next level. For my entree I went with the Basil Crusted Roasted Monkfish which came with Vietnamese Yellow Curry, Crispy Shrimp and veggies. The Monkfish was cooked perfectly. I had a great sear on it too which gave it a bit of a crunch. I know Monkfish can sometimes be intimidated people because it was pretty ugly looking but let me tell you if it's prepared like this you're going to love it. Some of the best fish I have had. The Vietnamese Yellow Curry paired very well with it too. Wasn't too heavy and didn't over power the fish but just added an extra boost of flavor. I know what you're thinking who could was possibly be hungry for dessert but it sounded good so we ordered the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee and the Yuzu Cheesecake. Both were light enough that we could still really enjoy them after all we had eaten. We really like that the Thai Milk Tea Creme Brulee also had bubble boba in it which we didn't expect. We had an amazing meal and for sure be coming back sooner rather then later.
