This was my second trip to Saint Augustine, my first go around, I had passed by this cigar bar and I chose not to go in because it was not a hair wash day. Ha ha. I am familiar with how strongly cigar smoke permeates into hair and clothes. This time around it was pouring rain and there was a spot at the bar and the bartenders were very nice. They have a nice selection of beers on top and although I am not a cigar connoisseur, I could see that many people come in to check out the back rooms and enjoy cigars on the couches and chairs. I did hear that there was an upstairs portion which I did not get to see. It was about 7 PM on a Friday night. There were a handful of patrons and many more tumbled in and out as the night went on due to the inclement weather, I spotted at least 2 bridesmaid and bride parties and some locals as well and as expected, I did in fact smell like cigar smoke Until the very next day
This place always hits! Great chill vibes, cigars and beer selection! And daily music. Been here plenty of times and it's always a go to when we are in St. Augustine. P.S it's famed to be a lil haunted (harmless)
This is everything you'd expect from a cigar bar in St. Augustine. Super chill vibe, outdoor & indoor seating options, great cigar options, live music, wine & beer, great service. I've been a handful of times and plan to come back again and again when I'm in town -- you just can't beat it.
Love this place! Even though I'm not a smoker, they have an awesome cigar selection -- and every alcohol drink you can think of! Anytime I'm in downtown St. Augustine, I have to stop in. The outdoor patio is super chill, sometimes with live music, and the staff is always so friendly. Definitely one of my go-to spots in town!
What can I say? It's exactly as advertised, a cigar bar with a great selection of craft beers. The house cigars are fine for an unrefined palate like mine. The vibe is very chill, friendly, somewhat eclectic at times, and yet it also has a bit of a locals feel (surprising for where it is). I love the service. The bartenders are always so friendly and fun to chat with. I love the outside seating area. It's one of the best places to watch people on a sultry St Augustine summer evening. It's rustic, but that's part of the charm. The upstairs is dark, cozy, and conducive to a visit that might turn a bit more amorous, if you know what I'm sayin' Please drink responsibly, but know that this seems to be one of the last places to close. I think you'll enjoy this place if having fun with cigars and booze is your thing
Wow, stogies has everything. Great cigars in their humidor. Great craft beer selection. And some darn great music. Had the opportunity last night to listen to some great music in Stogie's living room while drinking a great new England IPA and smoking a really good cigar. I was in heaven. It felt like being and a friend's house listening to sets of your local band favorite. And, the people I met were all nice and extremely polite. It is a cramped space and you couldn't help but bump into people. Stories has an upstairs and down stairs. The upstairs is like your grandma's attic and the downstairs is like her living room, but with a bar right where the kitchen might be. Saturday night gave me the opportunity to listen to some really good live music. Can't wait to come back and hang out next time I'm in St. Augustine.
Situated in an old house by the historic Colonial Quarter in downtown St. Augustine, Stogies was an excellent find for my lady and me on our first-anniversary trip -- just down the street from the bed and breakfast in where we were staying for the weekend. In addition to cigars, Stogies has a nice selection of wine and craft beer -- bottles, cans, and on draft. Stogies has excellent little spots to enjoy a smoke and a drink within their establishment between the upstairs and downstairs lounges, as well as the porch and patio area outside. Inside, there are plenty of couches to sit and relax; outside, there is a fire pit, tables, and Adirondack chairs. They have a small humidor room for storing the smokes behind the downstairs bar, which I found some labels that I enjoy and pick up a couple of sticks. We ended up going there twice throughout the weekend because it was such a chill place to hang and have a drank. I stuck with smoking some Padron 1964 Anniversary series cigars, as well as My Fathers while drinking bottles of Thunderstruck Coffee Porter by Highland Brewing, as we watched some cool live music. The vibes are welcoming and relaxing at this spot. We'll be back when we return to St. Augustine, without a doubt.
Such a fun bar. Live music and the musicians are very talented! A nice place to sit in a comfy chair, have a draft, and smoke a cigar. Unique atmosphere that's perfect to the area of St.Augustine. (Side note: first time I came to Stogies was on a ghost tour, it's said that the place is haunted by a woman who hung herself in the attic. If you're into spooky, go take pics upstairs like we did!)

Music brought us here! Not cigar smokers, simply live music lovers, we luckily stumbled upon this gem by following the music. So glad we did! Expansive outdoor seating, good for us, along with a cosy inside. Plan your parking elsewhere, remember it's a beautiful walking city. Can't wait to return! read more

Cool cigar bar in the Old Town section of Saint Augustine. A small selection of cigars, but space is definitely a challenge here. Regardless, I enjoyed my smoke and the atmosphere and the people were friendly. They have a full liquor bar and a decent beer selection. They also have live music. I would recommend this place and will be back. read more
After dinner joy! Nice cigar choices and incredible Port selection. Had a nice Arturo Fuente along with a 20 year Tawny Port. Very cool vibe and relaxing. Dorothy behind the bar was so nice. Perfect fire up of my cigar and couldn't have been nicer to chat with about the place as it was new to me. I left feeling relaxed and happy. Happy to find a great finish to dinner when dining in St Augustine. Can't wait to go back. read more
They don't have all the wine on the wine list. Free cigar with first draft beer is only during happy hour, why doesn't the sign say that? Bartender seems to delight in telling several different patrons that they were not standing at the bar a few minutes ago and so they cannot be impatient now. Ten of us, 8 interacted with the bartender and none of the 8 are tipping well or care to stay. Standing at the bar waiting to order for 10-15 minutes apparently doesn't deserve service. Restrooms in a disarray. Would skip this bar and buy cigars elsewhere. Service subpar. read more
What a fun place! Low keyed, laid back! Nice beer & wine selection but no domestics. Hubby said the humidor had a nice selection too. The band was really great tonight too! I think their name is The Space Heaters. Had a great time! read more

Stogies Cigar Bar was great. It did not feel like a cigar bar at all though - which was fine with me. An old house on a quiet street, Stogies is welcoming and fun. There was a host of characters that we met, including a woman and her dog who are fire dancers. Old, young and young at heart - everyone was having a blast. The live entertainment was fantastic. The whole group in Space Heaters couldn't make it the night we were there so it was a last minute combo. There was even a guy with a cello. Love them!! There is a big front porch to hang out on as well as a side courtyard. It's a great spot for people watching. Inside is a bit small so it gets pretty crowded. Overall, Stogies Cigar Bar is an easy going and casual spot for a great night! read more
I have been to Stogie's during many ghost tours I have taken in St. Augustine. The tours are where I was introduced to Stogie's. There is a rich and dark history to the past of the building Stogie resides. Tons of character throughout both levels. I have a creepy picture that my aunt and I took on the second floor by the bathroom! The beer is pricey, but I love how most nights on the weekend they have live band and give you a free cigar with your purchase of a draft beer. There's a cool fire pit outside. Upstairs, they have couches and chairs to sit on while you sip or puff your cigar. Make your way to Stogies Bar if you Dare! read more

I've been to Stogie's during several ghost tours and a few times on my own. I have a creepy picture of a ghost that followed me out of the upstairs bathroom. This place has lots of history and character. The beer is kinda pricey, but the cigars are nice. But in their defense, all the beers are premium. They also have a nice fire pit outside in the colder months with tons of seating. They have live music on the weekend. The bar downstairs is small, but if you get lucky and there is room upstairs there are several couches and oversized chairs to sit back, relax, some a cigar and sip on a beer. read more

Dope cigar spot! Outside patio, nicely stocked bar and humidor, decent prices, relaxing upstairs lounge, perfect setting for a nice stogie! Was lucky enough to find Leather Rose by Drew Estates, paired nicely with my beer! read more

I love me some stogies. The place is so chill, plenty of places to hang. Outside by the fire, inside at the bar or upstairs with the ghost. The place is just cool, I love it. It's a must stop in St.Augustine, if you want to hang drink and smoke this is your place. Make sure you stop at stogies and thank me later. And don't forget your free cigar with your first draft beer. read more

Is there a smoke free section?
You can sit outside. People will be smoking around you, but you're out in the open air. Otherwise, inside, expect smokers
