So ok, someone finally comes to take our order & we go to sit down.. everything is filthy, we had to go find someone to clean a table. There were none clean! There was stuff on the seat & food/grease on the floor too.. so already a little grossed out already. Then the icing on the cake-- they have posted dog rules, but then there's a woman carrying a dog around, inside, hovering it over the condiment counter, and sitting at the booth. If you're not going to enforce health/safety rules regarding animals in the restaurant, what else are you overlooking?! It's ridiculous that anyone would bring inside/expose the restaurant to their animal, but the business owner needs to protect their customers when there is that lack of sense/consideration in these situations. The location has excellent seating inside and out for solos, trios, and groups. Very clean inside and out - inviting. It's all about meal and drink options: paleo to vegan, to ensure customers get what they want and need. UNDERWHELMING GRILLED WILD ALASKAN COD SANDWICH Let's break down my meal at the Burger Lounge: PROS: · BUN: Soft craft/craft-like bun, slightly toasted, and close to a brioche texture/flavor. · GRILLED COD: Real fish, moist, big white flakes of meat made for a substantial sandwich (I ordered a double fillet, just in case - not necessary). CONS: · APPEARANCE: No strong pops of veggie color that screamed "California Fresh Veggies in the House" made the sandwich look sad and less appealing. · VEGGIES: Tomatoes were light red and flavorless. Lettuce was shredded, light green, and also flavorless. The veggies might pass on a burger, but quality fish deserves quality veggies. The sandwich felt like a fish dressed up as a burger. · SEASONING: None detected in the fish or sauce. The lack thereof made this sandwich unremarkable. The burger lounge puts out a good burger that is better than most In my opinion and for the most part the burgers seem consistent across most locations. Where this location dropped the ball was in customer service or lack off from point of ordering to deceivers. The shake was good but way overpriced for a large and the fries and rings are also small portions to price ratio and both were dry especially the rings maybe from being over cooked. Terrible experience never going back. My son and placed our order which came out to just over $50 so I handed the cashier a $100 bill. She went to get change, got flustered and without any explanation she cancelled our order and handed me the cash saying "I don't have change" and walked away. Nothing else just left. He tried the lavender mint lemonade and said it was very delicious and tried the dairy free chocolate shake since he's lactose and loved it! My little one had a cheeseburger kids meal plain just meat and cheese and she liked it but really loved the fries. Haven't been to a Burger Lounge in ages but discovered one here while running errands. This location is clean and well-staffed. Food came out quickly despite lunch crowd. I went for my usual Paleo Keto Burger - because no one does it better than the Burger Lounge. When super hungry, I like to get a shake (they have non-dairy options) or a root beer float. For your first time checking in, you can get $2 off which is a nice perk. I really appreciate the kind staff who time to time would check in with its customers to see if they needed anything- sorry my mouth was full when someone came by lol. The parking lot is tricky- next to a Trader Joe's which I normally shy away from large congested areas. But if you park further down, it is less hectic (and you are eating a large meal so may as well walk and get those steps in)! The batter for the onions rings are just so good and wonderfully crispy. It does seem a little bit more on the expensive side compared to the other chain hamburger places, but it offered a different style hamburger other than in n out. I have had my eye on trying Burger Lounge since my daughter raved about it last year and was excited to try it today. I ordered the cod sandwich and split some French fries with my hubby. Love the fries, tasty without the grease and perfectly cut and portioned. No complaints here! I enjoyed my sandwich even though it lacked the expected seasoning and flavors. I would have liked it to at least have had some herbs and spices but welcomed the option of being able to add salt and pepper to my taste. Overall, the sandwich was clean tasting and well made. We walked into burger lounge this evening for dinner and there was a couple in front of us. They took about 10 minutes to order so we were patient. Then after finishing their order the lady turns her back to us and begins working on a milkshake, not a "be right with you", or any form of acknowledgement. The ingredients are high quality (grass-fed beef) and the offerings are unique. Service has always been on point for me - they welcome you in and say aloha on the way out (not literally but you know what I mean). I ordered the Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger and added pickles and bacon. I also got the Nice Little Side Salad, whose name is absolutely on the nose. The presentation on both items was so top notch that I actually noticed the presentation lol and couldn't wait to get it in my mouth. The burger was cooked to smashed perfection and had the perfect ratio of meat and condiments to bun. The salad might have been my favorite part! It was so light and refreshing with that lemony dressing they use - I need to figure out how to make it at home. I'll have to try the chicken Caesar next time to truly see how they stack up. Expensive, but great burgers. It's always about $30 for just my husband and I. Thank goodness for military discount, but definitely not a place we like to take our kids because of prices. I also like their fries & onion rings. Their homemade ranch and thousand island dressings are so good too. Costumer service is always amazing. We had only one incident where they forgot our order, but they gave us a gift card to makeup for it. Totally made up for it. So 2 thumbs up. As often as I've been here I always get the burgers. The onion rings were for sure my favorite! Wish we'd ordered more but everything was a la carte.
