I was attracted to Krispy Krunchy Chicken after reading the great Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the blueberry muffins so for that I was disappointed. The chicken was excellent. I avoid the chain fast food chicken like over priced KFC, Raising Canes or Popeyes. I like patronizing family owned Sinclair Station and support of mom & pops. Btw, KFC started by Colonel Sanders in a gas station too. Wow what true hidden gem. I seen the sign many times before "Krispy Krunchy Chicken ". So I finally stopped in while getting gas on my way home from work. Sure glad I made the stop. Yes it's inside a gas station but don't let that stop you. The lady at the counter was very nice, Elizabeth, she let me try something I wasn't going to purchase, it was delicious. I ordered the wings and they we perfect! Well I went back today for lunch because I couldn't find them on Yelp and I wanted to drop a review. They only had the Murrieta location, well until now, I just added this location. I will be coming back for more, this chicken has the perfect balance of crunch, spice ,texture and size. Fried chicken doesn't get any better than this. Don't get me started on the biscuits, they are moist and flakes and full of flavor. The chicken is delicious because there's so much flavor in the batter, that's if you can get some at this location. They are very inconsistent with their hours. I've gone a few times and they were closed. The 1 star is based on the lack of customer service and the rude let me refrain from name calling but rhymes with bleeker ladyworking last night. You could tell this lady hated her job and maybe life. I saw they had a $5 special with a 2 piece dark meat. I ordered mine and my friend ordered hers. They were short a thigh. The lady said they were closing in 2 minutes. She said I'll put in 2 legs. We thought she meant she'd throw in an extra leg for not having the thigh. She rudely said no I'll give you 2 legs I'm not giving you an extra piece of chicken, what more do you want for a $5 special. We were both in shock how she talked to us. If you're closing why wouldn't you because you were out of the thigh. I guess she wanted that extra piece to take home with her as well as the 20 chicken strips sitting under the heat lamp because it's not like she can reuse them the next day! I was embarrassed I even told my friend let's go here. This was her first time and I'm sure it was a horrible experience. They have very tasty chicken but call the gas station to see if they're open before driving over there and be prepared to be treated like crap if they are. read more

Just close down at this point. Hours are inconsistent. Sunday thru Saturday whether you're trying to grab something on a lunchbreak or something for dinner on your way home from work the place is closed. Just drove here on a Saturday at noon and theyre closed, not even a worker to be seen maybe cleaning up or prepping to open or even dropping chicken into the fryer. This is the first Krispy Krunchy Chicken location I've been to, so I don't have a comparison to draw against other locations. The chicken tastes great and is definitely crispy! The fried catfish and shrimp are also killer. We tried a few things, to include the biscuits, red beans and rice, and the boudin balls. Apart from the biscuits, I was not impressed with the sides. It is located in a Circle K gas station. Had to wait for fresh batch of chicken to cook as they didn't have enough to fill an 8 piece order. Website said 8 pieces for $9:59 but when ordered it was more due to being both dark and light meat. Got the Cajun flavored and was hoping for something like Spicy Popeyes but it was very lightly seasoned and only in the batter. Inside meat was a little too undercooked for my taste but it was nice and hot and they had lots more meat on the bone than either KFC or Popeyes have on theirs. read more

Came in tonight around 8:10pm as we got there there was a line. A few costumers in front of us. A couple and one man behind them. We waited about 5 minutes before anyone said something the man and couple told the lady behind the counter (no one would give her name) the man by himself said "you have company" the lady behind the counter instantly started cussing and told the couple "you can get the f*** out you see I'm f***ing doing something go get out just go". Whole time we waited she did not ask us to hold. No one was rude to this lady she then said she was going to close everything but it wasn't closing yet so my partner and I waited to see if she would assist us she looked me through the door (side door though the window to get to back) and screamed "whaaaatttttttt!!!!" she then started cussing her co worker vinnie out as he tries to assist us vinnie was very nice and helpful. But the lady did not allow vinnie to help he said "I'm sorry guys she said it's closed" I will be sending all the information I have to cooperate. Her customer service was very inappropriate and I myself work costumer service. Cussing out your customers and telling them to go home if very disrespectful. Vinnie did not deserve the treatment that she gave him as well. I completely lost my appetite! I understand we have bad days but maybe she should of called off tonight. Please check the cameras you will see everyone leave the line! This was a horrible experience. The Krispy Krunchy chicken in LA (the hood) have better customer service! Also please have employees wash hands before working with food! I was told there was no manager there and one will be in tomorrow 9.13.2021 I will follow up then. Thank you Vinnie you were great!
