Stopped by this location with the fam for dinner. Only thing I expect from Flame Broiler is delicious food, and of course they did not disappoint here. The staff were nice, took our order, and we received our food within 5 minutes. We had the chicken and bulgogi beef combo. Always love the teriyaki sauce, and the Louisiana hot sauce has become a necessity when eating here; never thought it would be the perfect complement to teriyaki chicken. Tried this place for the first time and was honestly disappointed. I paid $24 for two chicken bowls, one was all white meat and both had very small portions of protein. The flavor was decent, but the bowls were basically just rice with a little meat sprinkled on top. It felt more like fast food than anything else, and yet the cashier still prompted for a tip, which felt out of place given the setup and service. Went in the other day and ordered 4 bowls. One with teriyaki chicken and rice, and three bowls with beef and chicken veggies and rice. This location has to get back to its roots as far as the food prep goes. There was a time when the food tasted fresh off the grill rather than reheated bulk cooked meats. The chicken bowls are usually decent but it's hard to sit and eat inside because of the overwhelming smell of bleach. I can appreciate them cleaning but they like to mop and spray cleaners as you are literally trying to eat. The over spray gets on you and your food and all you smell is bleach water. I would suggest cleaning and mopping when no customers are present. The guy with long black hair in the back making food was on his phone and then making food. It's just looks really unsanitary. If I go back then maybe I'll get it to go so I don't choke on the bleach fumes in the dining room. read more

Overall I was happy with the food and establishment itself. The issue I had was I asked for extra chicken with my bowl. I understood that this would be an extra charge and it was lists at $4.49 in the menu board. However, it rings up as $5.49. Since there is likely nothing the girl at the counter could do and it's not her fault I didn't bring it up. But still frustrating to get charged incorrectly. I used to come here regularly when I lived nearby and it was always really good. Today the beef was literally the texture of beef jerky. The service was horrible. They were closing up an hour before their closing time and packed up my order to go despite me ordering it for eat in. Then the cooks and cashier glared at my kids and I as we ate. They started mopping the dining room and putting up chairs all around us to try and crowd us out. Probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a long, long time. Won't be back. read more

Absolutely one of the worst experiences that I've ever had at this location. Keep in mind that I eat at this Flame Broiler almost daily, and never have I experienced this level of unprofessionalism and rudeness by cashier, Patricia Alvarez. Upon entering the location, I wasn't greeted or welcomed. I looked around to find Patricia and her colleague gossiping. Then, when I was ready to order, she said, "What can I get you?" with a tone and body language so unhappy that I didn't want to order anything - and contemplated eating elsewhere. I decided to order anyways thinking it may have been just a one-time matter (Although this isn't my first rude encounter with Patricia) and waited at a table. After 5-10 minutes, Patricia yelled at me saying, "Your order is ready!!" as if it was unacceptable for me not to notice. I responded by saying, "I wasn't aware" and she proceeded to roll her eyes and continue gossiping with her colleague. This was beyond unacceptable and, regardless of how challenging the customer experience can be, she should always uphold a level of professionalism and positive attitude that best represents the company. I get there at 8:50 pm still thinking they close at 9:30 pm . So I place my order I get it shorty my after i order . Notice that a client before me got their food 1 mins before me they get to eat their food indoors . So I ask if I could eat my food the girl at the register shaked her had at practically said no . Cool I could respect that since it's closing time Was I upset yes . Why because another customer before me were allowed to enjoy their food indoors but I couldn't . Did I complain no . I went outside to eat my food . Then noticed That they got my order wrong . So I go back inside and they fix it . They give me the salad that my platter is supposed to Come with . Now I go back Outside and again no dressing on my salad they mess up again . Now at this point I don't even want it anymore. Im a weekly client and love coming here . Not sure if this location has changed ownership, but the experience tonight was horrible. We eat here a few times a month but that may come to an end after his visit. Trued for 30 minutes to call in and order, but no one would answer. Finally went down to place the order in person and asked the young girl with glasses if their phone was working. She looked down and said she forgot to hang it up. No apologies, nothing. Took my order incorrectly and when calling my order number, didn't say thank you or even ask if I wanted any sauce to go. At least go to the back and do your daily gossip there not right in the front where the customers can literally see you and hear everything your saying. I come here often, usually after my lash appt and they never disappoint. Service is fast and usually doesn't have a long line. Even when they do the person taking orders are always very fast and efficient. Although I've never eaten inside, I always take it home for hubby and I, the tables look clean and the fountain sofa machine is a ways well stocked with lids and ice and forks. Their food is always freshly made and I have yet to have a bad experience here. Highly recommend! read more

I've been coming here for years and never had issues with their food before. In fact, it was one of my go-tos. But recently this place gave me food poisoning. I ordered a half and half chicken and tofu bowl, I didn't see anything wrong with it but maybe I didn't look close enough. I fell extremely sick the next day and I'm positive it was this place because I didn't have much food before or after the meal. Really unfortunate, I will never eat here again. We were received with a nice smile and were assisted with recommendations. We were a little upset about the 20 minute wait but in their defense it was busy. My fiancé complained about the wait but our food was on the way out at that point. I was so impressed with the level of professionalism and the way the cashier immediately addressed our concerns. She contacted her manager and handed her personal phone so we could voice our concern. The manager accommodated us and the staff present were very apologetic and provided excellent customer service! By the way the food was delicious! We will definitely return and will recommend others as well. Love the food here, my favorite dish is the rib plate and will normally order with the steam rice,veggies, double avocado, I have never eaten there but the dinning area appears clean, not sure about the bathrooms because I've only picked up food. It seems like it would be small but its actually plenty of food. Its half chicken and half beef. I also get broccoli with mine. It's all protein mainly so it can definitely fill you up. I like the food better here, but Waga Grill (similar concept) has more options. Try the dark (like teriyaki ) sauce with your bowl. It adds some great flavor. read more

I had no idea what to expect, but it wasn't this. I thought they'd have broiled chicken pieces, but no - just rice bowls/plates. Totally tasteless and dry. I had the chicken, hubby had the angus beef plate, both meats were dry. The veggies offered are primarily all cabbage & broccoli, a couple of slivers of carrot. No snap peas, bell peppers or white onion pieces. Another thing worth mentioning, this is not a good choice for diabetics (the rice is high-carb we know) but they only offer a sweet teriyaki-type "magic" sauce they call it, and a hot sauce. Not even a soy sauce is offered, and they serve each dish with a piece of fresh orange which is high-sugar for diabetics. Panda offers a much better bowl at about the same price with real chinese flavor. This had no flavor. We will not go back. read more
