    Chili fries
    Stephanie N.

Who keeps wienerschnitzel in business? I do. LOL. Yea I know many of you will disagree with me, but I love me some wienerschnitzel chili fries. One of my guilty pleasures. My husband loves their chili hot dogs. Maybe we've been lucky, but we've never had problems with service. Although we always do drive thru.

    COCKROACH AT MURRIETA WIENERSCHNITZEL
    Steve C.

I try to give people a chance of we something wrong at a restaurant, not when the manager failed to react at all, I thought this needed to be reported. This COCKROACH was so bold and jaded to humans, it actually chased a female guest around a table before just taking up a position in the open. The thing practically posed and smiled for the pictures. When I tried to quietly tell the manager, he just looked at me, said, "uh huh," and went back to what he was doing. If this is what's out in the dining room, I really am concerned for what is wandering around the actual kitchen area where the food is at. I hope he cares a little bit more when the health department sees this.

    Old, soggy polish dog. Yuck.
    Pamela F.

Ordered a polish mustard dog (added relish at home) and it's squishy and brown, with cold, soggy fries. Such a disappointment. We would order it and didn't have a problem before.

Half full Ranch Dressing they are charging for.

Spent $60 on an order here and they still wanted to charge me for a half full container of ranch dressing.

All beef Texas bbq dog, WITHOUT bacon, w extra grilled onions.... DELICIOUS!!!

We have always been driving by this Wienerschnitzel location off Madison Ave for years and I've never been until today. Let's talk about how disappointing service was. First of all, no one greeted us. They looked up when we walked in and after studying the menu for about 3 minutes we were ready to order. We waited around 5 minutes until someone was able to help us.... first impression of the cashier? RUDE!!! Not even a "hi"... nothing!! I asked her if the chili was beef. She said "yes it has beef in it"... then I asked "is there pork?" She turned to the manager and asked in Spanish if the chili had pork in it. With an extremely bad attitude the manager rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders. Hmmm... ok... didn't even try to find out? And they work there but don't know wtf is in their food? OK!! Whatever. Service here is below satisfactory and the staff needs to be trained on dealing w customers and being more friendly. Now for the food..... we ended up ordering the all beef Texas bbq without bacon, the ranch bacon chili cheese fries, and double cheeseburger, and the strawberry lemonade. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was good!! Double cheeseburger was packed w lots of toppings and I appreciated the extra mustard and also had grilled onions. My daughter's ranch bacon chili cheese fries were very good and filling, as she says. Lemonade was good too, a bit on the sweet side though but pretty good. As for the restaurant.... after we ordered, we sat down at the dining room and it was very dirty and filthy w sticky floors.... also had a bad smell... the kind of smell that if soda spilled and dried up... like old soda or just like food spilled somewhere and they never wiped it down or cleaned it. Maybe thoroughly clean your tables, chairs, mop the floors properly, amd clean the walls as well. Overall, the food was good. The service was horrible, and the restaurant was very dirty. I give it a 3 stars.

    100% Beef Chicago Dog

Der Fun Since '61, hmm. The family who owns this franchise is very sweet, which is why this is a Four Star Review and not a Three Star. You cannot fix what you cannot control. The Hot Dogs are mediocre, except for their 100% Beef variety. I don't know how they make them, but the regular Hot Dogs seemed to be puffed with air. I've had Krispy Kreme's in the past which seem to have more substance. I came here for a late lunch. I ordered the 100% Beef Chicago Dog ($4.29), which was really very good. Even though it wasn't a Vienna Beef, it had a nice taste and flavor. Definitely a keeper. Along with a Medium Drink and a cup of Chili, my bill came to $11.02 with a Senior Discount.

I arrived at 9:35am and Google says their open at 9:00am, but unfortunately they are closed. If they are not open at 9:00am then why advertise that you do.

This is what it is supposed to look like .

I recieved a offer for a free chocolate brownie shake with any purchase. I was stoked to check it out but what I recieved was basically a chocolate shake no brownie at all .

This is the second time in a row that the food quality has disappointed me at this location. If founder Mr. Schnitzel was still around he would be extremely disappointed. Next time I crave chili cheese fries I will take a look at this picture, cringe, and choose someplace else.

Service was very good and quick.

We stopped at Wienerschnitzel in Murrieta on our way back from Oceanside. I have not had Wienerschnitzel in a very long time. I always loved the chili cheese fries with onion added and a good ole Kraut dog. We ordered food for three of us. 3 chili cheese fries with onion added, 2 had grilled onion and one with raw, double cheese burger, kraut dog and chili dog. The fries had plenty of chili cheese and onion, very tasty. The cheese burger was really good. I like the ketchup and mustard they automatically put on the burgers. The hot dogs were good too. All the food was fresh. Service was perfect and quick. Price not bad, $25.49 for everything. We will definitely go here again and again.

Before I get to reviewing the sandwiches I want to mention the great stuff I saw at the meat counter that I will definitely come back for! They had chorizo, pork breakfast sausage, Hungarian pork sausage, two kinds of brats and more. Nice organic chickens, bone in skin on chicken thighs, and herb marinated half chickens. Their chickens are smaller than what they sell at supermarkets which tell me they are younger and more tender. The steaks....ohhhh the steaks! Wagu, Prime grade, rib-eyes, New York Strips, big shrimps, fish, etc. In the other cold case there was Duck, and other Duck related products, plus so much more I can't remember them all! Also, questioning the rotation and shelf life on the product. Quality; putting a first cut, wedge cut that was barely scraped in your counter is embarrassing. To my surprise, their house-made sandwiches are served on freshly baked bread, made with fresh ingredients, and cost under $10 (Panera could never!!!). Their baked goods were also reasonably priced with generous portions. Rockin' Jay's looked at my weak soul and said "bet" -- then saved it in the best way possible. Counter girl hit me with a smile so bright I almost reached for sunglasses. The entire all-female crew was straight beast-mode at the open sandwich bar, slinging subs like they were on a mission from the sandwich gods. Atmosphere? Spacious as hell, proper New York deli that moonlights as a 70s rock dive -- screaming reds and greens, green booths, wooden tables, tiled floors, the whole retro package you see in the pics. The playlist was gloriously all over the place in the best way -- Contemporary Christian one minute, 2019 pop bangers the next, basically spanning six decades of straight fire. "Listen to your heart" came on and I damn near did while they built my baby. Every single pick was gold though. I ordered the 12" Capicola & Provolone ($16.69). I yelled "the works -- no mustard, drown me in onions and olives." They dropped an absolute beast of a sandwich... and it came perfectly toasted straight out the gate the way it should be. No sad "can you toast this?" negotiation. Golden, crunchy bread that cracks like it owes you money. Meat stacked stupid high, provolone doing its melty thing, then they buried the whole thing under an avalanche of fresh, snapping shredded lettuce and threw in those glossy peppers on the side like a mic drop. This thing is ridiculously messy -- oil dripping, lettuce flying, pure delicious chaos in every bite.
