If you're in metro-Houston, find another exterminating company!! I take time off from work, so they'll come service the inside of my house, and the techs don't show up. When I've called them to complain, I've been told the tech made a note that I wasn't home when he knocked. Or I truly wasn't home when he arrived at 5:30 for an appointment time between 1 - 4 PM. OR, I've been called by the tech and told he was double-booked for opposite ends of town & would like to come back the next day. WTF. read more

Not sure if this company has changed management??!!!!! Worst service ever. Took almost a hour to book a flea appointment. Man on the phone took forever. The women on the phone five months ago knew exactly what they were doing. They were fast , efficient, knowledgeable. Then booked appointment for window from 4:30 to 7:30. 6:40 NO ONE here. Had to Call and said would be here within 30 min. 7:50 NO call from anyone. We called at 8:10 and said now it's too late to do outside or inside. Totally unprofessional! We stripped all beds, took off work to prep house, Mowed lawns front by and back yards for spray. They need to get there business in order! read more

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this company. The first time they came out we had an issue with the technician trying to overcharge us for something that was included in the service charge. After that we had a different technician who was great for several services. We then had a third technician who was also great. But then we got switched to a fourth tech who missed two appointments without calling. The office seemed apologetic at first but didn't do anything to remedy the situation, except schedule another service, for free, but the technician didn't show again. We switched to a different company that respects appointment times. read more

Brody is awesome! We have been in our rent house for over a year and have been battling bugs since day 1. Our landlord will not fix the 'hole' in the ducting in the attic as its 'too' small to worry about, regardless, Brody has been excellent in helping us rid our home of roaches. They come in from outside when it rains and I'm completely terrified of them. When there has been a problem in between treatments, I've called and Brody is here in a couple of days to help with the problem. I could understand if we were nasty and left food out everywhere but we have a clean home, and those stupid things STILL Get in from time to time. I just moved into a house and in the past 2 weeks of moving in have noticed a millipede problem and occasional spiders. The home backs to a greenbelt and the prior owners told me they needed pest control for scorpions as well. My neighbor recommended Bulwark and I happened to purchase an Angie's list deal from there 2 days before talking to my neighbor. Andy with Bulwark just left my home and was completely professional and answered all questions I had about pest control. He treated the whole perimeter including the inside and attics and took his time to ensure complete coverage. I cant attest to the effectiveness of the pest control as today was the first treatment but I am happy with the promptness and professional attention I received today and would recommend them just based on that initial visit. Robert came and sprayed the house for spiders and ear wigs. He also sprayed my yard for fire ants and gave me 2 additional fruit flies canisters for inside. He then thoroughly explained why it is not necessary for them to come inside anymore and that they can effectively treat most indoor bug problems from outdoors. I have been a customer for about a year. Lately I have had problems with the call center. I had an appointment a few weeks ago and the tech cancelled my appointment with no notice and the call center couldn't tell me why and they couldn't eve get in touch with the tech himself. Devin took my appointment at the last minute (because Bulwark wanted me to reschedule for another day but I told them no since I had made my appointment in advance). Devin didn't have the glue traps he needed when he came that day but he still put down what he had and made special arrangements to come back the next morning before business hours. For some reason the call center cancelled my appointment and at that point I was ready to cancel my quarterly subscription altogether, but Devin made it a point to come back to my house to take care of things. He even paid for the glue traps out of his own pocket. Honestly, Devin is the only reason I still do business with this company. He deserves to be recognized and given accolades for going above and beyond when the company isn't concerned about doing so. read more

I had interior and exterior treatment done for the second time by Bulwark. The technician, Ochuan Bouie, was on time, fast, thorough, and professional. He asked me if I had any specific areas I wanted him to treat or any specific pests I've been seeing. I don't have anything unusual, just the typical roaches here and here. He sprayed all around my windows, inside cabinets, and opened up an electrical outlet on each side of the house to spray inside the walls. He also sprayed in the attic and sprayed around the outside of the house, along the top and bottom. For the next few days I saw several roaches come out to eat the poison, all dead, which is what's supposed to happen. I haven't seen any pests since, and it's been about a month since treatment. I will continue to use Bulwark and recommend them to my friends. read more

He noticed that we have a small puppy who "owns" our backyard with her own gated area to play in (away from the pool.) I'm extremely disappointed in Bulwark. I've used them twice before, and they were prompt and thorough. However, I recently booked a one-time service (not a recurring plan, so that may have something to do with it) and was told that someone would be there between 1 and 4 PM on a Tuesday afternoon. Nobody had shown up at 4 PM, so I called at 4:30 to check on my appointment and was told that the tech was on his way. At 6:30, he still hadn't arrived, so my husband called to cancel the appointment. The person he spoke with said that the tech was definitely on his way this time, so we shouldn't cancel. At 7:15 (after two phone calls where we were told that the tech was on his way twice and waiting over 6 hours - more than double the three-hour window I was originally given), the tech still had not arrived, so I finally called and cancelled (they told me that the tech was on his way again). They offered to rebook the service, which I declined. It's been a week since this happened, and I'm disappointed that nobody from the company has followed up with me on this situation. We'll definitely be going elsewhere in the future. read more

I hired bulwark exterminating after seeing the review. I told them the problem that I have and need some one to come over and check my house and suggest treatment. They were prompt and came over, but the tech did not spend more than 10 min checking the house and told me everything is fine. He said that they don't do any treatment inside the house and they do that only around the house coz the pest comes from outside. Well I believed it and he treated. After two treatments I did not see any improvement. I still had pest problems. I finally ended up in Home Depot and got the pest control kit and applied allover. Now I do not have any problem. I would recommend you to save your bucks by not hiring them. I even called them back to complain and the lady did not not even care. She said " so you don't need our service anymore @ then hung up. read more

Brody came and treated our long lasting Fire Ant problem. Explained very detailed what type of approach and chemicals he used to attack the bugs. Very friendly, knowledgeable, timely, thorough and takes the time to explain. Switched to Bulwark periodic treatment plan right away. Little more expensive than our last one, but they come once every 2 months instead of once per quarter. I like that Brody unscrewed pretty much every electrical outlet and sprayed between the wall and treated the nooks and crannys in the house. With this approach it seems like my kids will have much less exposure to the chemicals compared to the spray-method of our old pest control service. read more
