I'm in Phoenix on business. A coworker suggested Bobby Q's, so I gave it a try. The St Louis ribs, Mac-N-Cheese and Potato Salad are life-changing!! I will be back in Phoenix, and Bobby Q's is on the top of my "must" list!! read more

Where do I even begin? This is the best bbq I've ever had in my life. So so good. The bbq ribs are so bomb!! My boyfriends favorite is the brisket. And DO NOT SKIP the corn bread. So good. So warm. Fresh. Tasty. Buttery. Goodness. I suggest to make reservations, it's always so busy. read more

Bobby Q - 3 meat plate. Shredded chicken, bbq ribs, brisket - Barbeque Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Went here for graduation. Food is good, but service is sometimes hit or miss. I am partly disappointed that I was promised a separate room for my large party, but was placed in basically the center of the dining room. The BBQ is quite good though and I'd go back purely for that reason. read more

This place is great!!! I ordered the brisket sandwich 11/10 it totally exceeded my expectations. My server was great, he was very attentive to my table and didn't miss anything. I've been going to this restaurant for years because their food has always been the best in the valley. Their staff are attentive and management takes care of business. We had the racks of baby back ribs and the meat just fell off the bones and the potatoes and corn were delicious. Glad I ordered the whole rack cause now I have left overs to enjoy. read more

Everything was ECELLENT!!! Prime Rib was one of the best I've ever had anywhere. The ribs and briskets were falling off the bone. Even the chicken fingers and fries were really good. All the food was executed VERY well and above expectations. Bryce helped us and was very efficient in getting our family in and out of their during our late night dinner. I actually left my credit card there and came back the next day. While waiting for a few minutes, I saw how great every staff member was that walked by asking people standing around if they have been helped, etc. This is how a restaurant should be run. read more

The service is excellent. For appetizers we had the Q-rolls which were amazing, we also had the Smoked Wings which were not smoked. They were deep fried and very dry. We had the three meat combo with bone in chicken, baby back ribs and sausage with the veggie of the day and ranch beans. The favorites were the Chicken and ribs. The sausage was ok. My son had the baby back ribs and enjoyed them very much. Grand daughter had the brisket tacos and said they were amazing. The highlight of the night was the bread pudding. It's a definitely a 5. read more

This was our first stop when arriving to Phoenix from Wisconsin. WOW! My husband and I both had the brisket which melts in your mouth! I cannot say enough about the amazing corn bread, selection of drinks, atmosphere, and staff. This quickly became a favorite place. We lunched on the patio, each with a local draft beer, the lovely cool mist and waterfall along with the overgrown vines draping over the patio added to the really western feel. This is a wonderful place to dine and the food is outstanding. Well done! read more

This is one of my favorite places to go for steak & ambiance. The waiters are professional & genuinely friendly, not fake friendly. Our food was brought to us in a timely matter & was delicious! read more

My favorite place to eat in Arizona. Went and tried Lucille's BBQ the next day and gotta say that Bobby Q's does it right with their brisket. It falls apart and their baby back ribs do too. Definitely my new celebratory spot to eat read more

Totally awesome! Scrumptious food, friendly wait staff, speedy service, outdoor seating, lovely ambience and decent price.

The best BBQ I've ever had in my whole life. Order the Whole Hog Heaven. Choice of 2 types of ribs, choice of 2 types of meats, choice of 3 sides. It was enough food that we can have full meals of it for dinner too. The food was amazing quality and Victoria, our waitress, was all over the customer service aspect of the experience. I don't know what could have gone any better about this visit. We will be back for sure. read more

Ghetto asf don't go here... this food was not good or bad it was ehh.. don't go here if you want to have a nice night out. Go else where. West gate is down the way. More of an upgrade then going here. Dirty place. read more

In my opinion, this restaurant has the best food in Phoenix. Everything tastes great. I wish they were located in a safer neighborhood so that people can go there for dinner. But other than that, this place is amazing!!! I go there at least once a month to get my favorite "smokehouse burger". This is by far the best burger in AZ. I love burgers in general and I have tried just about every place in phx but I have to say this smokehouse burger beats them all. read more

BBQ was on point. The sides are average to bad. Mac 'n cheese was just velveeta and veggies were raw with no seasoning.

Really good BBQ! I got the pulled pork sandwich and my friends got brisket and ribs- all really good. Brisket was really tender. Only negative is the desert- carrot cake was reallyyyy dry and tasted horrible. read more

First time but not the last, great service and delicious food. The ribs are out of this world and highly recommend the bread pudding for dessert! read more

Always the best Barbecue, the smoked turkey is wonderful too. Pulled Pork, brisket, and cornbread are also wonderful.

We met with Jason French at the beginning of this year for catering service for our daughters October wedding. We got to sample everything that day and choose a menu and a provided a tentative head count. For the months leading up to the wedding, he was always available and willing to accommodate our requests and changes even up to the week of the wedding. Out of all of our vendors, he was always the one that I could count on for a prompt reply and as busy as he was, he never rushed our conversations. He always made me feel like our phone call was a priority for him. The service staff that showed up to the wedding was there on time (actually about 10 mins earlier than we expected) and was ready to work. when they were done setting up the station they pitched in and helped us set up our other banquet tables. They were so helpful during the entire event - moving tables around, beverage service, restocking the drink troughs, cleaning up, and even helping us with the breakdown. They always ask what more they could help with. Even at the end, they would not leave until they were sure that we didn't need help with anything else! The food was AMAZING! The brisket was tender, the pulled chicken was juicy and tender as well. The food was also served piping hot! Our guests raved about the food and couldn't say enough good things about it. Thank you so much for helping make the wedding perfect! read more

I'm officially changing my name to chimchurri shrimp! The best shrimp I've ever ever had. Holy shr#mp! Wait staff was great- and manager Michelle was very nice and welcoming. If you're a foodie- this is your church! read more

The dance floor was live and on fire, so much fun. If you want to enjoy some good music and get your dance on this is the place

back in town for spring training and we had to go back. Alot of the time when you go back somewhere its never as good as the first time but not here. I ordred the brisket and its the best. The dont hide the meat with a gallon of sauce. they actually dont give you enough sauce. They dont need to because the meat is that good but most sauces are bad and you would actually want them to drence the meat with there sauce. Its hard to find great meat with great sauce. The mac n cheese was the best. good bread. I cant wait to go back to Phx to see family of course :-) This is also the place to be. came on a friday night and it took forever to get a table but the club/bar was jam packed. read more

The food isn't overwhelming in portion size (I had lunch). The taste was great bbq. They could use a little flare in the sauce department in terms of variety. The hot bbq sauce wasn't very hot. Price is reasonable and the service is good. read more

I can't imagine it better. Always multiple friendly faces to greet you, and excellent service. The onion brick is a must. I've never been a fan of cornbread, yet I can't stop eating theirs, it's so delicious. The BBQ is always perfect. The sides are awesome - great beans, great coleslaw. My daughter ordered the kids pizza - not expecting much, turns out is the best kids pizza I have EVER encountered. Great presentation on a square piece of butcher block, and it was really good! We all eat ourselves into a food coma, we can't even touch the cute doughnuts at the end. I love the atmosphere and lighting as well. I'd like it to be my living room...dinner's ready.... read more

Good food, and great service. It wasn't 10 minutes before our order hit the table. The ribs were tender as can be without losing texture.

A little on the pricey side for BBQ, but the food and ambiance here are great. Looks a little more upscale on the inside than what I had expected...reminds me of something somewhere between Charleston's and the Keg. This is a pleasant surprise, especially considering the location. The portions are huge, definitely big enough to share (which helps with the cost) and there are probably going to be leftovers depending on what you order. I have sampled most of the BBQ on the menu and it is all delicious. They bring a carafe of mild and regular sauces to the table so there is no shortage of sweet-tangy-saucy deliciousness. Good selection of side dishes. I especially liked their cole slaw -- not too wet, not too sweet. The server brings a little bag of fresh mini donuts sprinkled with cinnamon sugar at the end of the meal. They are pretty incredible!!! read more

My friends and I were visiting Phoenix for Spring Training and staying at a near by hotel. As none of us were in a state to drive but desperately needed dinner we decided to check out Bobby Q. We were definitely worried about what we were getting ourselves into given the neighborhood surroundings but once we walked through the doors of Bobby Q we were pleasantly surprised. The menu was incredible. Every BBQ option under the sun. All meals started with some great corn bread. The beer selection was phenomenal! We ordered a bunch of different things on the menu and loved every single one. Personally I had the rib combo plate and enjoyed every bite. My one regret was ordering the baked beans as one of my sides. It wasn't bad but just seemed average in comparison to everything else. Definitely get the mac and cheese! This was definitely the best surprise of our trip and we will definitely be heading back next year! read more

This is likely the best BBQ to be found in the Phoenix metro. It's far and away better than anything to be had in southern California and comparable to the mid-range places in more BBQ-centric parts of the U.S. In Phoenix, that puts it at 4 stars and I'd give it 5 if I didn't have such a great experience at another BBQ joint a month before in another state. Bottom line: if you desperately need a BBQ fix, you could do a lot worse in Phoenix and if you are a little less desperate and just looking for some good BBQ, you will still leave satisfied. read more

What a great BBQ dinner. We ordered the Hog Heaven and bread with queso dip, and both were spot on. The Hog heaven was enough for 3-4 people and with just the 2 of us, we ended up taking a lot of leftovers and enjoyed them a lot for the next few days. The grilled corn, coleslaw and mac and cheese went perfect with the BBQ. I liked the memphis more than the baby back (they were a bit on the dry side), and the chicken was super juicy. The surprise package was the sausage which my wife absolutely loved (she is not much of a sausage fan - so that says a lot). Definitely recommended if you're a local or visiting from out of town. read more

Hungry for BBQ? Run, don't walk, to this place! In from out of town and gave it a shot based on YELP. Place was a huge hit with the entire family. Great food...some of the best BBQ we've ever had. Brisket rolls (Q rolls) as appetizer were fantastic. We got the family deal for $28 on a Sunday and we had plenty of leftovers. Cinnamon Sugar donuts (free) for desserts were a hit. Service was fast and friendly. We were seated quickly and all of our food and drinks ordered came to the table fast. Decor is perfect - rustic but a little upscale. Highly recommend doing reservations off their website before going - there was a big wait by the time we walked out on a Sunday. If we could give 6 stars we would - best restaurant experience we've had in years!!! read more
