This was my first time to the restaurant. My partner had come before and loved it. I can't say it was a great experience, but the food was delicious. We arrived on a Saturday around 2pm, it wasn't very busy, but we were told there was only one person bringing out the food. We ordered sides that didn't come until new asked for them. We ordered 3 salads and only got one. So that part was a bummer.

Nice selection of foods. Just make sure you read the menu prior to ordering which meal to cook. Service was decent and helpful when ordering via tablet did not work or was food gone. The tablet times out for ordering, which sucked.

Good place to get Korean barbecue in Chinatown, they have a variety of different selections that were good in quality. The service was just OK. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The tables were kind of small, but the grill is good, overall I'll come back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is quickly becoming my favorite Korean bbq spot! Certainly my favorite all you can eat Korean bbq in Seattle! 1. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's clean and the waiters that work here are fantastic![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2. The less expensive menu option is still fantastic while the more expensive menu option is well worth it. I have done both and found both exceptional for what you pay! 3. There is an all you can drink beer option for a pretty reasonable price as well! It's a fantastic combination for a fun guys night and definitely has become our go too!

Had an amazing time at Bellwether in Chinatown! Highlights: All-You-Can-Eat KBBQ - seriously delicious, fresh, and flavorful; the meats were perfectly marinated Variety - so many options, from beef and pork to tasty sides [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere - lively and fun, perfect for groups or a feast[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you love KBBQ, this place is an absolute must-try!

It's a solid choice for all you can eat kbbq in Seattle. We love coming back because Groupon always has a deal, the price comes with the hot bar which has chicken wings, noodles, taro ball, and fried spring rolls, and they have a soft serve machine. I don't know what they do with the fried chicken wings at the hot bar but they are always so juicy and I love dipping it with the house chili sauce that is also at the hot bar. The cheapest option comes with kalbi on the menu which is great. They recently added more options on the menu such as kimchi soup and steamed egg which is great, but the soup was pretty salty. You also grab corn cheese, lettuce, mushrooms, bell pepper, zucchini, and onion from the bar to grill if you wish. If you love beer, they also have $1 refills. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I only come here on the weekends and it gets pretty packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They're also pretty understaffed so service can be slow. The waiting area has tea and snacks and they're often out of snacks. You order from a tablet once seated and sometimes I need to order the same thing multiple times before it gets to our table. The hot bar also runs out of things often when it's busy. The quality of the meat is average, nothing exceptional, but I've only ever gotten the cheapest option (option A). Overall, it's a cheap option in the city with a good variety when I'm craving kbbq.

This place has solid Korean barbecue. It's not the best but it gets the job done for the price. It's not super bad considering it's in Seattle, but the meats were nothing special. We got their basic option, which was option a I think it's honestly good enough, especially if you don't care that much about premium meats. The service here is a bit slow, but I think they might be a bit understaffed, considering how spotty was. This place does get pretty busy though as we waited for 20 minutes to get seated

Aight so we were originally trying to get into happy lamb for a late xmas dinner, but the line was wayyyyyy too long so we "settled" for bellwether. But sheeeeeeit I'm glad we did! I've always seen/heard about this place but never had the opportunity to try it out. There are two different options for AYCE: "regular" vs "premium" (think wagyu options). We opted for the regular option A + AYCE beers, which were $8.99 for the first one and then $1.00 for each additional glass (fam I had 7!). Total per person after a 20% tip was around $55-70 depending on how much ya drank hahaha. Service was great! All the employees were super busy especially since it was a holiday... but they were all super kind and efficient. The quality of the meats was ok. Not the best, but also I've had worse elsewhere (but again, perhaps the premium option had better cuts, too). I believe we were limited to ordering 5 items with a 10minute lockout in between orders. Honestly not sure if there's an actual time limit for the meal either. But yeah! I'd def recommended checking em out. I'm def chancing their premium option next time!

This place is mad good. Very good price for all you can eat KBBQ, I believe it was around $30-35 per person. You order on a mini tablet at your table so you can easily order more once you are finished your first few portions and it comes around very quickly. The staff is friendly and efficient and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the restaurant has a very nice vibe and great lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also have a self serve sides bar where you can grab as much cheese corn, fish cake, kimchi, etc. as you want. The meat tastes very fresh and is seasoned very well. They have beers on tap as well and I enjoyed a nice Sapporo. Brilliant stuff.

Review update. Came back to this spot a year later. This time earlier and got to really explore the menu. It is way better than i thought. Tried the wagyu beef toro and the thin sliced short ribs along with the lamb chops. All three of these were outstanding. Going to bring some friends back here before i leave town

friends and i were happy with this place! there was a good amount of selection for the A menu. Theres also a good amount of things at the salad bar. I was surprised to see dessert available as well. I didn't get to try their beef bone soup, but it looked pretty good as well

    The marinated beef. Yum!

Welcome to my favorite KBB spot the city has to offer! So many amazing protein options to choose from at a really great price. Service is quick and friendly, and helpful (if it's your first time). A hot bar of yummy bites, sauces, and soft serve are just a few steps away from your own sizzling grill. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is clean and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect for feastful date night or large parties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It was our first time here and it was just ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Self service food area was very dirty[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], they were out of rice for almost 30min. Not sure if I will be back.

At least for this style- Texas style...sort of a combo with both dry rub (Memphis style) and a kick ass sauce ala KC. It was excellent. We both wanted the ribs and brisket so we each got the 'double trouble' and got different sides...greens, cornbread, corn pudding and mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, we also got the fried pickle appetizer. The meat was perfectly done...tender and smoky. Each side was big, and flavorful. I especially liked the greens, my son said it was the best he'd had. Then they brought out the banana pudding. When the server put it on the table my son made a reference to a vampire movie we'd recently watched where the vampires could see the arteries in the necks of their victims and he made a motion to show that the banana pudding was almost pulsating on the table before us. We descended on that poor pudding like crazed nosferatu just awakening from a centuries long nap. Blood lust. It was so good. Gone in about 1 minute. Our evil souls were barely sated. Our thirst for banana pudding only temporarily slaked. The server joked that he's always wanted to bring in a boba straw for the stuff. It's good. Anyway- put this place on your list. Best bbq in Seattle? Maybe? This is a food genre that's important to me and I haven't yet seen better. $130 for two people with tip, wine and a take-home pudding.

One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."

They have…read morelocations in South Lake Union (SLU), SODO, Columbia Tower, Bellevue/Redmond, Algona, Lakewood, and Federal Way. I have been to both their SLU and SODO locations. Their claim to fame is that "BBQ Sauce isn't needed - the meat is amazingly delicious!" However, they always provide BBQ sauce at the table and sell bottles of their BBQ sauce to take home, so not entirely sure how much they believe in their saying... On my most recent visit to the SLU location, a large group of co-workers and I went out for a celebratory occasion and ordered the: - SMOKED SWEET TEA ($4.50) - smoked brown sugar, simple syrup, and iced tea. This also comes as a cocktail with vodka ($14.50). This drink was honestly just alright and I probably wouldn't get it again personally. It had a slightly savory and smoky after taste, but kind of tasted like you just put a few drops of liquid smoke in the drink. - BUTTERMILK HUSHPUPPIES ($9) - golden brown and piping hot (like literally straight out of the fryer!) served with tartar sauce and honey butter. While they were super fresh and hot hot hot, they were a bit too dense for my preference. It was worth a try, but I would just stick with the regular buttermilk cornbread instead. - LONESTAR FRIES LOADED WITH QUESO AND BEEF BACON ($14.50) - french fries coated in velveta cheese with crumbles of bacon on top. One of my co-workers wanted to give this a try, so wasn't my choice or pick, but this appetizer was also pretty rich and dense. I also would not order this again as I found it too salty. - PICNIC ($98 - enough for four or more people to share!) - brisket, ribs, sausage, pulled pork, chicken, white bread, homemade pickles, jalapeños, and four sides. For sides, we chose the REMOULADE COLESLAW, BUTTERMILK CORNBREAD, QUESO MAC N CHEESE, and SWEET CORN PUDDING. Because there were 8+ of us, we upgraded the side sizes to 12-oz for $8, as part of the picnic deal. We additionally got a side of WAGYU BRISKET (a Wednesday-only special). - BRISKET/ WAGYU BRISKET - tasty, but surprisingly was on the drier side. I don't know if I really could tell the difference between the Wagyu and their normal brisket. I was expecting a much more moist piece of meat, but seemed kind of lean. - RIBS - these were my favorite in the basket. Sweet, juicy, and falls right off the bone! - SAUSAGE - they give you two types to try - spicy and cheese-filled. The spicy has jalapeño in it and definitely has a small kick. The cheese-filled is mild and slightly saltier. - PULLED PORK - also on the saltier side, but at least it's relatively moist and pre-shredded. - CHICKEN - mostly dark meat (which is my preference), but can't say there's really anything special about their marinade. Nothing to write home about here. - REMOULADE COLESLAW - your standard shredded cabbage coated in a sweet and slightly peppery and tangy mayonaise dressing. No complaints here. - BUTTERMILK CORNBREAD - this side is an ABSOLUTE MUST. My co-workers and I were blown away by how good the cornbread was here. It comes with a dollop (more like a scoop) of butter drizzled with honey, but even on it's own, it was absolutely amazing. It was crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, like a good cake. - QUESO MAC N CHEESE - This side was evidently rich, but less rich than the Lonestar fries. It was creamy, savory, and came with a sprinkle of breadcrumbs on top. I liked that they used spiral macaroni as opposed to your typical half tube macaroni as it gave more texture and chew to the dish. - SWEET CORN PUDDING - I thought I would've liked this one more, but similar to the hush puppies, this dish was also too dense for my liking. However, it was a nice and sweet complement to the mostly savory dishes otherwise. **TLDR- for mains sides (as I've basically tried them all at both locations), I would recommend the ribs, buttermilk cornbread, remoulade coleslaw, Gramma's collard greens, and mustardy potato salad.** For dessert, we ordered one of everything off the menu and honestly, dessert was 10/10!: - PEACH COBBLER & ICE CREAM FOR TWO ($12) - this cobbler was fantastic. It was moist, gooey, and had the perfect amount of sweetness. It was served warm and the ice cream just melted right into it! - PECAN PIE -1996 TEXAS STATE FAIR CHAMP, ALA MODE ($9.50) - this pie was fantastic too. It was sticky, chewy, buttery, and everything a good pecan pie should be. No wonder it was a prize-winning dessert! - BANANA PUDDING WITH NILLA WAFERS ($6.50) - this pudding was creamy, rich, and full of bananas and whipped cream with strong notes of vanilla. The nilla wafers offered a nice crunch and love how they crumbled some on top of the pudding too! Service was wonderful and we got our food within 20 minutes after ordering. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly. Overall: 4/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere

We walked in on a Thursday evening to a very brisk crowd. Good sign. There's lots of reference to…read moreTexas bbq. Good sign. We got seated quickly and given menus. We were informed they were out of brisket and pulled pork....bad sign. So we both went with pork ribs (couldn't eat more chicken) with two sides, white bread, onions and pickles. For sides I went with ranch beans and potatoe salad. My wife had the collard greens and ranch beans. Sides were good and lots of choices. Good sign. Now about those ribs....you get 4 meaty ribs ok. Pretty charred from end to end. The bad...the ribs literally had no flavor and very bland. Disappointment. In addition they were pretty dry. The waitstaff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and well lighted. Nicely decorated. Got to say I was very disappointed and would not reccomend Jack's.
