I can't say enough, how much I love this place. My pallet is definitely biased towards spicy things and they have a lot of spicier things on the menu - a lot more than other nearby, plain Jane breakfast places. I've been losing weight lately and have changed what I ordered as a resolve. Omelettes are four eggs and a lot of extra stuff, so I have opted instead for scrambled but three eggs and not as much extra stuff. I go to now is a veggie scramble. I always get hashbrowns and I always order them extra crispy. If they ever come out not as crispy as I like them, they're happy to put them back on the grill then I usually get my other side to go and eat it later. I love the vanilla coffee, which is from a local roaster and I love that they have no problem giving me a coffee to go after I've been sitting there drinking several cups while I was there. The managers here really value good service and staff the restaurant accordingly. It has a lot higher server to Customer ratio that a lot of breakfast places and if you ever have a bad experience, they will make it right. read more

Parking can be in their lot behind their building vs on the street (no charge). Ambience is very surfer/beach city vibes, casual. The service was good. Some items come out with full portions while others are smaller. The veggie scramble was definitely on the smaller side with a LOT of potatoes... Chicken steak was just OK, nothing specatular. Came here for breakfast with the family before starting day 1 at Legoland. This is a good place to fuel up for a long day of walking as the portions they give you are quite large. I got the Greek scramble while my husband got the Chile Verde omelette. Both were delicious and the protein in the dish helped to fill us up. Like most breakfast spots, you get a couple of sides with your meal. However, here at Beach Break, you get to choose from more nonstandard sides, such as a coffee cake, a potato pancake, or biscuits, in addition to the more standard options like toast, breakfast potatoes, and hash browns. Between the two of us, we got the potato pancake, biscuits, coffee cake, and breakfast potatoes. You can get the potato pancake loaded with cheese and sour cream (which we did), and the biscuits with gravy (which we did not, given we already had such a decadent meal in front of us). The food was delicious, savory, warm, hearty, comfort food that was all well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The biscuits here are made from scratch, which I really liked. The coffee cake was very cinnamony and paired great with the coffee, although I could have gone without the glaze that they drizzle on top.
