We came here as a big group on an early Sunday morning around 9am. The restaurant was still pretty empty at that time so luckily we were seated right away. By the time we left, there was a bunch of people waiting to be seated. Everything we ordered was delicious. Everyone liked what they got, which is hard to do with a dozen of us. It took is awhile to decide what to order. Hard to make up our minds with so many tasty dishes on the menu. Their nice manager helped us with a few suggestions such as the Bacon Benedict, the Eggs in Purgatory (shashuka), and Green eggs. Had the Eggs in Purgatory and the sauce was absolutely full of flavors. One of the best shashukas that we've had. The bread bowl was a great concept but it was a little hard to tear. I wish it was a bit thinner. Ended up using a knife to cut the thick bread bowl. It's a beautiful open and airy restaurant. Good was delicious. Service was excellent. We will be back if we're in the area again.

It's very unfortunate that we were so excited to try this place out. The ambiance is open seating inside and out. A beautiful restaurant that unfortunately, was severely let down by our server Julie. As someone who worked in restaurant hospitality for 6+ years, I never want to write bad reviews as I try to see the light in all situations & honestly can see from both sides. However what happened was just not acceptable in service from Julie herself. We came on a Sunday morning, understandable that it is a kind of busy morning. Everything started out great, we were promptly sat by the hostess (not sure her name, she had red hair) & she was wonderful. We sat there for about 15 minutes before Julie came to our table to bring waters. Once dropping them off, she left to tend to other tables. Extremely understandable. She comes back promptly to take our order & here is where the issue began. We ordered our food, & informed her for the "egg Sammy" to please remove the bacon as one of our family members had an allergy to it. She was informing that it is Canadian bacon, not regular bacon to which we informed to please just take the ham entirely off the sandwich. We also requested for American cheese to be on the kids sliders instead of cheddar, as the child that was with us is EXTREMELY picky and will only eat American cheese. Julie made a clear understanding & stated she got it. Food and drinks came out at a normal time, but unfortunately the egg Sammy arrived with ham on it, and the kids sliders with cheddar cheese hot American. Our server Julie did not come back for us to inform her that there was ham, so we informed the male food runner about the ham. I really wish I knew his name because him (and the manager Cody) are the only reasons this entire experience wasn't a full zero. We informed the male food runner & he stated he would tell Julie and have them make a new one. We felt bad about the situation, & just convinced the child with us to eat the burger with the cheddar cheese. Julie did come back & tell us she was having them make a new one, no apology for her mistake. 20+ min go by, the rest of our family is done eating and the new "egg Sammy" still hasn't arrived. Once it finally does arrive, it is cold, not toasted, & no cheese or seasonings. All we asked for was no ham/bacon. We called Julie over to try to explain to her again the situation & request at this point to just take it off the bill, however all she did was disregard us, grab the plate, & say "ok". We attempted to tell her the issue as we know it wasn't HER fault, but she had the worst attitude and just walked off. The male food runner saw the incident and came to our table and asked "was there something you would like me to tell your server?" Again, I wish I knew his name because that was so sweet of him to even ask & try to help us. We explained to him what happened & he went to go tell Julie. At this point, we felt it unnecessary to tell them about the mistake on the kids sliders as well. Again, working in the restaurant industry for a long time, I knew what was coming next. The manager Cody came to our table & apologized on Julie's behalf, took the egg Sammy off the bill, & gave us a discount as well. Which was so so amazing of him because all we wanted was the egg Sammy taken off at this point, but he went above and beyond to ensure we were okay and apologize for Julie's behavior. Julie never came back to apologize or try to figure out the situation. Again, I can understand being overwhelmed when it's busy at work. But completely brushing off your guests and speaking over them when they're trying to explain the situation is not acceptable in a restaurant industry, or as a human being in general. We thank the male food runner & manager Cody for their exceptional service & do hope that if we decide to visit again in the future, we do not experience the terrible service Julie provided again. We still left a cash tip for her because we are not heartless people & understand that sometimes you have bad days. We just hope this can be a learning lesson on how to handle situations properly and listen when your guests are trying to explain something to you.

This is very nice place and a very nice location with nice view. The service is always pretty attentive, although they could refill my coffee a little faster. :) (my wife and daughter would tell me that I just drink too much coffee.) The food is always prepared very well and the dishes are whatever called next level brunch fair. It's not your typical second eggs place. An example would be there Parmesan balls, which are really tasty. Everything is always very attractive looking and taste great. I wasn't particularly fond of the chicken and waffles. The waffle batter is not the usual waffle batter. )Again they're trying to take it up a notch but honestly, I would've preferred just regular waffle batter.) The chicken on top looked crispy but it actually wasn't. The batter was kind of thin. The spicy syrup was quite good. Make sure to ask for extra because I don't think what they give you is enough.

The good: the servers and managers here are all so friendly and kind and our water cups were always filled. It's cute in here and very close to the beach. There is a $5 parking structure right next door, but pro tip: walk a little bit more and park in the free civic center structure. The bad: we waited 30-45 minutes for our food after placing our order and the pancakes came cold and without the syrup, until we had to ask for it. They definitely seemed short-staffed, so I will probably try this place again, if I'm ever in the area...

I met up with a friend here and it was a nice spot. It's very modern and has a decent amount of seating. The food was good and bit better than I expected. I ordered the chilaquiles and I really enjoyed the flavor. I would definitely go back. I dislike that they don't allow reservations since it makes meet ups a bit difficult.

Great food, but be prepared to wait it's one of those spots where patience really matters. It was pretty busy when we went, with about a 30-minute wait to be seated. We ordered right away as soon as we sat down, but it still took over an hour for the food to come out just something to keep in mind. It did seem like a rush, though. Melanie was our server and was kind and attentive despite how busy it was. I had the steak and eggs, which were really good, the steak came with a sauce that caught me off guard but worked well, and the cheesy potato balls were a fun and flavorful surprise. My friend ordered the chilaquiles, a popular item, but found them underwhelming, too spicy and lacking flavor, even though she enjoys spice. Overall, I'd come back again, just knowing ahead of time that the wait can be long.

The location in Oceanside is absolutely stunning--perched right overlooking the ocean with a lively vibe and plenty of foot traffic. The views are fantastic, especially for brunch, and it's clear why this spot has a strong reputation as a go-to destination. The menu is creative and fun, particularly the extensive mimosa selection with all kinds of flavors and styles. Those mimosas seemed to be the real crowd favorite! I tried the Elvis French Toast (hilarious and fitting name), loaded with banana and peanut butter in true Elvis style. It was enjoyable, though not life-changing. The Skinny Jane came with slightly undercooked eggs, but the sourdough toast was solid. The Eggs Benedict was genuinely good, and the chicken sandwich was hearty and filling--though a bit run-of-the-mill for the price point. While the food was decent overall, it didn't quite live up to the hype for what you're paying. That said, our waitress Mia?or Maya? was excellent--super friendly, playful, and attentive--which made the whole experience much better. She really elevated a middle-of-the-road meal. I'd happily return, especially to work my way through more of that impressive mimosa menu and soak in the ocean views again.

All outdoor seats were taken. However, the bar was empty. So, I sat there. There weren't too many people in the main dining area either. It was around 11am. I assume the morning rush had came and went. The menu had a lot of everything, but I keep it simple when it comes to breakfast. Therefore, I got the Plain Jane with a Peach Bellini. My eggs did not come out hot. I think my plate sat back there for some time before being brought out. The bar tender was very pleasant. I'd go back.

Not on the menu- Strawberry margarita and peach Bellini.

My friend jumped on the train in Anaheim and I jumped on in Laguna Niguel. It's such a nice ride to Oceanside. Not dealing with traffic from Orange County to Oceanside is so great plus it's only $10 round trip. Ok anyway, we got off the train and it's a few minute walk to Toasted. We joined the waitlist from Yelp once the train was pulling in and when we arrived, we were 2nd in line. We got seated on the patio almost immediately. First time here for us. Our friend that lives in Oceanside met us here. Our server was Melanie and she was awesome. She was super patient with us. Very friendly. Loved her! We had mimosas, Bellinis and margaritas. I ordered the Santa Fe scramble. It was delish! All of us loved our food. The manager came by and he was great too! We will be back for sure! :)

Came here for brunch and had a fantastic time. We started with the mimosa flight, which let me try the pineapple, mango, classic and hibiscus flavors. The mango was easily my favorite, annd I really appreciate that they gave a very heavy pour on the champagne. For food, we ordered the breakfast sammy and the Res eggs. The red eggs were packed with flavor and loaded with fresh vegetables. Every thing felt high quality and well prepared. But make a reservation or come early, this place gets packed.

I stopped by Toasted while I was in Oceanside for work and it ended up being the perfect breakfast/brunch spot. The space has a really nice open feel and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to sit back and enjoy your meal. The menu has a great variety of options, including some choices if you're vegetarian. I just wish they had oatmeal lol. They were also very accommodating with modifications, which made ordering easy. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying exactly what you want from a good brunch spot. It's the kind of place that feels casual but still well done. If I'm back in Oceanside again for work, I'd definitely stop by Toasted again. A solid and reliable brunch choice in the area.

What a fantastic brunch spot! The shrimp and grits were absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and easily one of the best I've had. I also tried a mimosa flight, and it was the perfect complement to brunch. I had The lavender, hibiscus, mango, and pineapple mimosas were my favorites and definitely worth ordering! The atmosphere was fun, the service was friendly, and everything came out fresh and beautifully presented. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious brunch experience!

Food was delicious. The fries were so good. The Bloody Mary was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Parking was a bit of a hassle. Machine didn't work. You had to download the app because you couldn't text as well. Ample parking. Restrooms and restaurant was clean. Servers were nice. Place gets super packed. Crispy chicken sandwich was more crispy than meaty which made it kind of dry. It has potential. Where there WAS meat and sauce, it was good. The hubby liked the burrito. Wish they had hot sauce. They had a vinegary sauce that they called hot sauce. Went there this past Sunday morning.

There is some nice patio seating so you can enjoy your meal with your fur babies.

Is there validated parking? If so, where?

There is plenty of FREE street parking in the area.

The avocado toast was burnt, potatoes were flavorless and unevenly cooked, and the "poached" eggs were hard in the middle. Prices are higher, service is slow, and overall it just feels like a place that exists now purely to gouge tourists in Oceanside. We won't be going back.
