Was here for a quick work meeting but this will definitely be a regularly visited place. The ambience is chill, location is relaxing and leaves you compelled to go next door and book a whale-watching tour. The menu options offer a good variety. I opted for a healthy choice and it was perfect. The table next to us almost had me tempted to interrupt them to take pics of their dishes as every one of their plates came out with a beautiful presentation. They do honor a military discount Looking forward to my next visit and more food pics.

We went early on a Friday morning. They were quite busy and seemed to be under staffed. Staff was friendly. You walk up to a counter to order food. The cashier is also responsible for making coffee orders, so she has to balance her time between the two making the line longer than necessary. At one point, they also stopped the line from ordering because they had to roll silverware and catch up with coffee orders. Once the food arrived, both the corned beef hash and cinnamon pancakes were tasty. The corned beef had large chunks of red onion, I could have done without that. The pancakes were sweet but fluffy and well made. Coffee cake was just ok. A little dry. We sat outside and the view of the marina was great. We probably will not return until as we did not like the wait when placing the order.

We were searching Yelp for places to eat at the Harbor in Oceanside and came across this gem. We walked over a mile to get here, and it was absolutely worth it. Sitting outside enjoying a delicious breakfast while overlooking the harbor was amazing. You order at the counter, and we were helped by a very friendly staff member. I added a glass of champagne, and we both enjoyed our meals tremendously. Everything was fantastic! We'll definitely be back next time to try something different.

If you're looking for brunch with a view, look no further--Stratford at the Harbor is the spot! Plenty of breakfast and lunch options, and a nice outdoor patio which is also dog friendly. You have to order at the counter and they bring your food out. The food was really good too!

Parking can be difficult so allot some time for this, found some nearby after waiting for some people to leave. The location is great, we sat outside & had a nice view of the harbor & people watched. Got a latte to start with, had the maple one iced which was tasty. Got the corned beef hash with avocado instead of egg & the coffee cake. All of which was delicious. You order at the counter & take a seat, the food came out pretty fast & service was friendly. Would recommend for a casual brunch spot with nice views!

First time here and already a fan. Met a friend for breakfast here and the walk up service was great. The girl behind the counter was approachable and patient. It was early enough that we were able to get a seat inside. It's pretty small inside but super cozy, they also have sitting outside so you can enjoy the view. The breakfast was fresh good and it came with their famous coffee cake which is really tasty. Thank you Stratford at the Harbor for your hospitality and tasty breakfast. When we are in the area again we will definitely be back.

We arrived around 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday and sat outside under the heating lamps with our pup, it's a cozy little slice of harbor life but make it vacation. You order at the counter, and before you know it, the food arrives hot. The home fries? A dream which is crisp on the outside, soft and buttery inside. My son's humongous hot chocolate (with marshmallows, of course) could make anyone's morning brighter. The corned beef hash and eggs were delicious and pro tip: get your eggs over medium or poached so that golden yolk can drip over everything like it should. It's the kind of breakfast that makes you want to linger a little longer by the water.

I stumbled upon this gem on Instagram, and it turned out to be a fantastic discovery. LOL. The experience more than lived up to its promise. The atmosphere is truly stunning, and their mimosas are a must-try - a game-changer. The hostesses are warm and attentive, making every effort to ensure a seamless experience. For a rejuvenating breakfast that sets you up for a great day, look no further - bask in the sunshine and savor a nutritious meal with a breathtaking view that makes every moment feel like a serene escape.

The service here was really good. All of the staff were really pleasant and friendly. I got a green smoothie exit I think had spinach, mango and kale. It tasted really fresh. The Mahi tacos gets a thumbs down. The Mahi tasted like it was made from a frozen filet and the taco fillings seemed randomly constructed with cheddar cheese, avocado and cabbage. It just didn't taste well together but I was hungry so I ate. However, the fries were delicious. I also loved the coffee cake and pancakes. Both tasted fresh and delicious. The view from the outside was beautiful overloooking the harbor.

Great little local spot. Super friendly staff, excellent location right in the harbor and nice menu with plenty of variety. We stopped for breakfast this morning and really enjoyed. We will be back for sure.

I must say Stratford at the Harbor got me hooked. I've been there a couple of times and my brunch experience has always been positively consistent. It's my go-to spot when I have friends/family in town visiting. I sincerely apologize for the delay with this 5-star stellar review. Located in the lovely Oceanside harbor, the Yelp Community must go to get inspired by the captivating waterfront view, amazing food (especially known for their coffee cake) and awesome hospitality from staff. Just note, you place your order at the counter then self-seating is available with table service. You definitely can't go wrong with dining at Stratford :-D

***Be sure to not back your car in the parking lot ( a $50 fine ) in any of Oceanside Ca city public parking lot ) Indoor and outdoor seating, First come first serve seatings . Outdoor canopy cover seating on the harbor overlooking the boat dockyard . each staff I encountered were nothing short of amazing, friendly and welcoming. No waitstaff to take orders, staff will bring food to the table once it is placed at the register. I am always a sucker for made in house desserts and clam chowder. Their coffee cake was so flavorful and moist . The clam chowder didn't have much of a creamy taste, it was ok I wouldn't order it again though. I never had corned beef ever and didn't know what to expect, since it is one of their signature dish made in house . I naturally have to try. Loads of shredded beef with potatoes and cheese. It was pretty good considering my first time. After a full belly of goodness be sure to stroll to Harbor Beach enjoy waddling in the water . Walk is about 20-30 minutes ( drive is 5- minutes)

Stopped in Oceanside for brunch and landed upon this lovely finding right by the pier. Ordered a lobster Benedict for such a good deal, and chilaquiles Jalisco with chicken AND poached eggs and guacamole AND sourdough bread AND hashbrowns! Absolutely amazing deal and delicious and freshly made! It's a place where you order first and find your own seating. Service was prompt and ambiance was beachy and beautiful. Definitely coming back!!

Tri-tip and Lobster scramble, a good way to start the day. Eggs generally served poached but you can ask for what you'd like.

Ask the Community - Stratford at the Harbor

Can you accommodate a large party of 15-18?

Hi! Yes we most definitely can! I highly suggest someone coming in a little early to save the tables you will be using! You are very welcome to have tables put together as long as our walkway is clear. If you have any questions, you can always give…

    Do you take reservations?

Hi Crystal, thanks for your inquiry...we do not take reservations. Typically the longest wait is 15-20 minutes. Thanks! Josh

    What are your hours?

Hi Jennifer, hourse are Monday - Friday: 7:30-2; weekends 7-3. thanks!

Did they serve, gluten-free pancakes, waffles, or GF French toast?

Yes! We serve gluten free pancakes and customers give them high marks! -Josh

How long is the wait time on Sundays?

Hi Fritz, it's hard to say as it depends what time you come. If you come before 9, it's probably not too long. From 10-12 it can get 30 minutes to an hour. Hope to see you!…

Do they serve lunch all day?

    Yes!

What time do they stop serving breakfast?

It's until they close at 4pm, but they'll take last order at 3 pm, basically all day breakfast

Is there a private parking lot?

No. You have to park in the marina parking lot and can be a bit tough

    Is your patio dog-friendly?

    Yes!

    Do you take reservations?

I would say it's TOO dog friendly at times. Hard to enjoy breakfast with large dogs drooling & panting as they stare across the table at my bacon. Dog owners need to remember that not everyone prefers a massive animal staring them down while…

Does this place have bottomless mimosas?

    No.

I'm thinking of coming in for the French toast. Is it served with real maple syrup and real butter? The butter in the photos looks like it could be margarine (due to the color) but it's hard to tell.

Hello! We have real butter and maple syrup on request...we charge a little extra for the real maple syrup. Thank you!

Does this restaurant have a private room that could be rented out to accommodate up to 25 people?

Hi Lindsey unfortunately we do not have a private room. Regards,…

Having access to both Mission Pacific and The Seabird across the street made the experience feel even more expansive and luxurious. The property itself is gorgeous and the aesthetic is immaculate. However, the service during our stay fell significantly short of what a property of this caliber should deliver. I traveled with a 4-month-old infant and requested a pack & play multiple times over three weeks and it wasn't in my room upon arrival despite repeated confirmations. The front desk was consistently unreachable by phone throughout our stay, which made accessing the resort fee amenities we paid for nearly impossible. I genuinely believe this may have been a staffing issue specific to our visit rather than a reflection of the property's standard. I would absolutely return, the location and property alone make it worth it. I just hope the service matches the beauty of the space next time.

However, warning- if you are in the middle ocean front rooms (i.e. room 530), they are located outside and there is a train behind the property that runs all night. Note that you also can't see the sunset from those rooms as it is blocked by the rooms on the west side. The front desk service was great. They offered us some wine and champagne and provided us with water bottles. The rooftop pool is wonderful. It's a nice place to lounge. The pool is heated so didn't feel too cold, but we were also there during a heat advisory 75+ degrees). There is a live dj playing lounge music. The food and drinks are expensive so we didn't really order anything. Overall a nice stay, but if we ever go back I would make sure we don't get one of the outside rooms.

The interior looks beautifully elevated and fancy, making it a fantastic spot for a special family meal. We opted to sit outside on the patio, which was cozy and comfortable for our group. Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and portioned wonderfully for sharing. Here's what we got: Focaccia: Fresh, warm, and the perfect start to the meal. Weekly Soup Special: A comforting, rich onion and potato soup topped with melted cheese and savory prosciutto. Linguine alle Vongole: Perfectly cooked pasta loaded with fresh clams. (We ordered more bread just so we could dip it in this) Fusilli Cacio e Pepe: Classic creamy pepper pasta, elevated by adding juicy shrimp. Salsiccia e Friarielli Pizza: An odd combination of sausage and greens, we also added pepperoni. The food was delicious, but the service made the night extra special. Our server was warm and attentive, and the manager took the time to personally step over, say hello, and check on our table. Small gestures like that show real pride in hospitality and go a very long way when dining out. Pro tip: If you choose outdoor patio seating around dinner time, bring a light jacket or a bit of bug spray--the mosquitoes tend to come out right around dusk. What's your go to Cusina Italiana?
