We ordered the pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. They came out piping hot and wonderfully seasoned. Highly recommend! So amazing. Our friends got the shrimp and birria tacos and they looked amazing. Love this place! We've celebrated major milestones here birthdays, farewells, anniversaries it's truly that kind of place. The heart and soul of this establishment is the bar staff super friendly, reliable, and always providing genuine service. The grounds are fantastic, with a great atmosphere that's both dog- and kid-friendly. While it's unfortunate that the pizza spot is gone, there are still plenty of great food options, from tacos to Thai noodles. The bathrooms are well maintained, although parking can be a bit of a challenge. Overall, it's a great SoCal spot to relax, enjoy a drink, and soak in the atmosphere. You need to stop by here if you're around the area! There's plenty of seating and great views if you want to sit on the top floor. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. If you're an orange creamsicle fan, you MUST order the "cracksicle". It's literally dessert in a cup! There is food you can order but, they're not the same vendor. Wow, as a family with a toddler this is SUCH a wonderful family friendly establishment! Lots of turf to run and play, they have large connect 4s which is fun. There are multiple different food vender options, our favorite is the Mexican station - their pollo asada burrito is perfection and absolutely big enough to share! The full stocked bar has a fantastic signature drink section (my favorite is the spicy margarita) as well as beer and even nonalcoholic beer! - I do recommend ordering from the bar vs a service because you can only close out your tab from the bar if you ordered there so it's much easier to quickly close out! read more

This place is dog-friendly; there's sandy areas and a poo-bag station. Cali made eye contact with a boy nearby and they army-crawled to each other to meet. Super cute! I went to Crackheads (a sort of food court, beer garden kind of place) for Thai takeout at the Thai Style Kitchen stall. Because I worked in Bangkok for 5 years, I'm always on the lookout for great Thai food --- and Thai Style Kitchen delivered on the taste and flavor I was looking for. I ordered two dishes: Yellow Curry Chicken with chicken thigh and leg, coconut curry, carrots, onions and potatoes with side of rice; and, Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodle), with flat rice noodles, egg, bell pepper, Chinese broccoli, basil, fresh chili, garlic and house soy. Both were delicious, had a decent heat level (although I always like food spicier), and were filling. The woman who served me behind the counter was very friendly and efficient. And the price was very reasonable, especially for the amount of food served. I'll happily return. Next time, I'll eat at Crackheads itself instead of just taking the food home. This place is located on a busy street, but we found free parking on the street. This is an outdoor venue that is great when the weather is nice. You can sit at the bar, or you can sit at one of their many tables they share with other eateries they share their location with. The bartenders were skilled and enjoyable to talk to. It has a real laid back and chill vibe. The drinks were tasty and they have quite a few specialty cocktails to try. Only thing negative I could say about this place is that it's so weather-dependent on being a good spot. It contains such a clever concept of having a bunch of various food spots each occupying repurposed shipping containers. You've got Thai, burgers/pizza/salad, Mexican, and a bar. My personal favorite is the Mexican, and namely the birria tacos and the shrimp burritos. But yeah, so it's all outdoor seating here. Perfect spot on a day with good weather, which fortunately for Oceanside is most of the time. But it's definitely not a rain or shine spot, especially given that the parking lot (unless you park in the street) is dirt. read more

Crackheads is a great place for group hangs. There is a good variety of restaurants so everyone can pick what they want. The servers come around and take drink orders from your table. You can also order directly from the bar. Cornhole bags are also available behind the bar, you just have to trade it for your ID. It's all outdoor seating so it can get chilly in the winter, but the space heaters keep it from getting too cold read more

I am still thinking about that taco a week later. The food came up quickly. It is container restaurants so it is walk up to order. There are plenty of picnic tables and a bar for drinks. It is causal dinning. The other 2 food options are Thai and burgers and fries. I have not tried those spots yet. Prices were reasonable. read more

I waited for service I never reviewed at this bar. My husband and I stopped by hoping to grab a couple of drinks and relax while we were out with our toddler, but unfortunately the service at the bar was terrible. I waited while the customers ahead of me were helped and then continued waiting to order. After quite a while, the bartender finally acknowledged me, and I asked for a menu. She handed me one and walked away. I looked over the menu and sat ready to order, but she never came back. Instead, she spent time talking with other patrons and doing other tasks while I continued waiting. After sitting there long enough without anyone checking in or taking my order, I left the menu on the counter and walked away without ever being served. The surrounding area was nice, but the experience left a bad impression. We came in planning to stay for drinks, but after being ignored at the bar, we have no reason to come back. read more

Finally got to experience the new location after much anticipation. Friday night was popping! With mostly social parents with young children running around, but still lively. Plenty of open seating with picnic tables and Adirondacks around fire pits, and music that wasn't too loud (I know, I sound old). We were greeted promptly by a server, who was friendly and attentive. I liked the layout and good variety of food options - Mexican, Thai, burgers, and brunch/sandwiches! My friends got a burrito and tacos, and I got Thai food. All were good! The only point of improvement (and a clear comparison to the Carlsbad location) is the lack of TVs. I think there was only one in the whole place, which was a bummer during the Padres game. Cute new outdoor spot with 2 bonfire pits and lots of sand lots and turf giving a fun playground feel. No wonder there are so many adorable young families hanging out here! The service was super kind and the bartender came over with drink menus in case we wanted drinks during our meal. As a parent I'm all about having a kid friendly place to relax with friends, grab a drink and dinner; however throwing bouncy balls, and footballs hitting my mom was not what I had in mind. I'm sure there is a way to find a happy median to appease all parties. End of the day police your kids. The staffs job isn't to police kids but perhaps don't allow certain behaviors.
