Great spot to get a quick bite! My friend and I shared a few appetizers, the Calamari and Shishito Peppers, Ahi Tuna and Salmon Stack and the Deviled Eggs! Service was great! We sat outside to enjoy the sun!

    This was sofa king good!

Came here on a fluke and so glad because we're moving to Oceanside and I can't wait to bring my family. Service was excellent, great recommendations and service from Kaila who rolled with the punches as we changed our opinion on order. Food had great flavor and the location is great for watching people. I didn't even grab a drink but the food will be a great reason to return for some drinking and people watching.

I like to try new things but I think the menu changed a little too much for my liking. I ordered some newer items that I didn't love. I came in for seafood stew and thy did not have it . Usually I got for that or the pot pie. I would still recommend just miss some of the old menu.

This local hotspot caught our attention when passing through the area. The garage doors for walls drew us in! We wanted a quick bite for lunch and this spot did not disappoint! We both ordered the Chorizo Angus Burger! WOWZERS! Flavor on flavor - the chipotle mayo tied in perfectly with the burgers well flavored patty! The seasoning on their fries was different! But Yummy! Our bartender was super attentive with our service! Made us feel like locals :D

Was my first time at LTH and it definitely won't be my last!! They have a good happy hour with discounted food and drinks. We had the deviled eggs ($3each on HH and you can order them individually) with different styles daily. Last night, they were southwest style with a jalapeño and a corn chip in them - I could have made those my entire meal!! My daughter had the Caesar salad chicken wrap and she said it was really good. I had the Salmon All The Time roll and it was also delicious!! Our service was efficient and friendly. The vibe of the restaurant is good, with a large bartop and numerous TVs available. They had the large windows open and it was a little chilly, but they have radiant heaters above the tables, which really helped.

My nephew was in town and since we were in Oceanside to take in the views, we headed over to LTH for lunch. We ordered the Blue Collar Burger (certified Angus beef patty, lettuce, tomato, crispy fried onions, pickles, cheddar cheese on a Brioche Bun with a side of house cut fries. Washed down with a Kasteel Rubus Strawberry Ale. While my nephew had the Tempura Snapper Fish & Chips with house cut fries, Napa slaw and malt mayo. Service was friendly, on point and informative. Definitely, a place to stop into if you are in the area.

Good beer selection with some unique finds like a pickle beer. First time we came, the food was awful. It's been a few years, and glad we gave them another try. Fish and chips were very tasty, but a bit skimpy of a portion with just one piece of fish.

Their spicy margarita w/tajin was on HH and pretty bomb, service was on point, $12/drinks, well worth it. Fun spot to grab a quick HH drink.

Been pleasantly surprised by the food menu the last couple of times I've visited. The sandwiches are pretty solid, I usually go for the French dip. I also usually get some extra horseradish on the side. The Cajun shrimp and andouille sausage is also a winner, so good! The drink menu is pretty solid as well. Whenever I have gotten fries here, they seem to be soft for some reason, but that's been my only complaint so far! Servers are all great and if you come during the week it's not too busy and not so loud. It can get quite crowded on weekends or game days.

Local Tap House in Oceanside has a great atmosphere with plenty of inside and outdoor seating, good food, and friendly service. Located right off the 101, it's near a lot of the local attractions. Parking can be challenging on busy nights in their small lot, but there should be plenty of street parking options. There are plenty of screens showcasing sports to keep you entertained and the music selection was also pleasant. On this latest visit I had a pint of Firestone Walter 805 and the Shrimp and Bacon tacos. We also shared the Beet and Burrata salad. The food was phenomenal and our waitress was very attentive. It had been quite sometime since our last visit, but we won't wait so long to come back for our next visit.

Short Rib French Dip Sandwich Artifex Mexican lager
    Michael M.

I came here with two friends to celebrate a birthday, and we were all blown away by how good everything was. We started off splitting mimosas and the Homey Hot Shrimp Bacon Tacos (three tacos) -- absolutely incredible. I ordered the Coconut Curry Udon Noodles with chicken breast, recommended by our wonderful waitress (she had braces -- wish I remembered her name, she was fantastic). I loved it -- 200% would come back just for that dish alone. To drink, I had the Duckfoot Honey Ale ("Drink this or the bees will die") and the Old Timer (an old fashioned). Both were excellent -- smooth, flavorful, and well-balanced. The birthday guy got the Short Rib French Dip and took the Chicken Orzo Goodness home for his wife -- he said the French Dip was delicious, and later told me his wife loved her meal too. My other friend had the Dirty Bird sandwich and grabbed the Bacon Truffle Mac & Cheese to go. Honestly, everything was amazing. We were all very pleasantly surprised. I initially expected this place to stand out mostly for its beer selection, but I was way off -- the food was spectacular, the beer was great, the cocktails were stellar, and the service was top-notch. I'll 100% be back again and again. So glad I found this spot -- looking forward to my next visit!

Is it good for large parties?

Yes, but it also depends on how you define a large party. The entire capacity can sit 75-100 persons. If your large group is around 8-12 persons, it's certainly easy. But allow wait time because it does get busy. It's a popular place. It would be… Read more

    Does this restaurant take reservations?

    Yes

    Is this place kid friendly?

    Yes!!!

Do you still have outdoor seating?

    Yes they do

Hi does LTH have tvs and playing football? Thanks!

Plenty of TVs, but, NO playing football. You might break something. But, they have Football on those TVs

Is parking pretty available for Sunday lunch?

Yes, either in the parking lot or on the streets adjacent to LTH. Enjoy, it's always good and a great atmosphere.

Do they show the UFC fights here? Trying to find new venues to watch

The bar is not really a sports bar. They only have a few TV's and I don't remember ever seeing UFC. I would try Dogwood on Hwy k.

Do you offer any gluten free food items?

Yes! They have a few salads and side options :)

    Does this restaurant take reservations?

    They do not take reservations

    Do they take reservations?

    No reservations

Is this restaurant dog friendly? And do they show NFL games?

LTH is dog friendly.....as far as NFL games I'm not sure.

Would this be a good place to go for a group of 20?

Yes indeed it would. Feel free to send us an email to hello@exhaleoceanside.com and we can set your party up.

Do they have bottomless mimosas on Sunday?

No. Too bad. I hope they will someday

Is there seating that is wheelchair friendly? All the tables I see in the photos are bar height.

    There are regular tables available

How bad is the wait on a Sunday afternoon and are you stroller friendly?

To be honest, strollers aren't the easiest. Walkways, especially on the patio, are really narrow. Not impossible though!

Is the quinoa burger patty vegan or does it contain egg/any other animal byproduct? Thanks

It does contain a small amount of fresh eggs and mayo .

Is there Bottomless Mimosas if so how much and are they on Saturday's?

    Not anymore, and I'm sad.

Do you have a happy hour? If so, what are the hours and drink/food specials? Thanks!

    No happy hour here!

This was my second time here, and I love everything about this place. First of all, kudos to the bartender--I forgot her name, but she was incredibly generous and kind. She accidentally forgot my drink and kept apologizing, but I told her it was totally fine since we had a large party. To make up for it, she gave me two shots instead of one and even added a big discount. The ambiance of this place is unique and very artsy. If you're looking for a cool, one-of-a-kind spot to hang out, this is it. There's so much attention to detail throughout--even the restroom door is thoughtfully designed with a modern, creative touch. My friend ordered a variety of cocktails, and everyone enjoyed them. The food was great as well. I ordered the hummus plate, and it was the best I've ever had--so fresh and served in a generous portion. My friends tried the pizza and a few other items from the menu, and everything got a thumbs up. If you're in the area looking for a cool place to hang out or planning a party, this is the spot. I'll definitely be back again soon.

First off, they have a "wait to be seated" sign at their entrance, but it took a while to get anyone to seat us. When we were inside, we noticed there was another entrance and people were just walking in, so "waiting to be seated" was just an option? We ordered a beer and seltzer and it took easily 10-15 minutes to get our drinks. Drinks that were in cans by the way. Music was good, DJs were good, but the whole vibe of the place is kinda everywhere. This lighting in this place needs to be more dimmed. DJs are spinning right in the middle of the room, and there's a clothes rack just chilling against the wall. The baristas are way in the back, and you can't really tell who works there. It took equally as long to get the check as it did to get my drinks. We only had 1 round of drinks. I dunno, waiting for canned drinks just threw me off. I can't imagine how much longer it would have taken to get a mixed cocktail. I only saw one guy mixing drinks and a bunch of women just hanging around. I'm assuming workers that look like they don't work there.

FOOD: - hot potatoes: has a pickled radish and some sort of crème sauce that was so good - these were my husband's favorite. - chicken satay: It came with pickled cucumber (think when it's cucumber kimchi, but it wasn't a kimchi type of marinade). The peanut sauce had a little spice (if you don't have any spice tolerance I would avoid the sauce, but it was sooo good). This was my favorite. - khao soi curry (has egg noodles) and that was delicious. We added the brisket to it which was a good add. My husband ate his so fast and I had to make him not take any more so we could have leftovers! DRINKS: - we got complimentary champagne for our anniversary which was so so sweet of them and made our night! The champagne itself was actually one of the best champagnes I have had. It had a nice sweetness to it. - my husband had the thai lager, which he said was okay. It tasted like most lagers he's had. - we shared the tangerine you are my sex machine as it sounded interesting and i do have to say this was the only thing we weren't big fans of. it was very smokey, but my husband put "old boat motor" in my head and that's all we could taste. if you love smokey drinks this would be for you. - I had a house cocktail that I cannot remember the name of for the life of me, but it was sweet, peachy (I think) and had champagne in it from what I remember. It was so good and would get it again! The vibe inside the restaurant was cool and there are over 30 tigers (our server counted for us, but she said she couldn't even find them all). The bathrooms were cute and very clean. 10/10 recommend. The check even came in a romance novel!

The drinks were good and strong, unique and creative. Which I guess when you're going out and want to stay on theme, it works. We had the coconut broth hamachi which was so lip-smackingly addictive with those wonton chips! I would come back just for that dish! The chicken satay skewers were also delicious and the sauce that came with it was a good mix of sweet, savory, spicy and salty. I do think from there it was kind of just okay? I got the half fried chicken which smelled a fish sauce glaze and that's what I went in expecting but there was no punch of that fish sauce flavor you know? It needed a bit more pop. BF got the pork belly banh mi bowl which I guess in theory why would you get that at a Thai place? But the pork belly was hard and firm, not as you'd expect it to be which was dissapointing. Our friends got the Khao Soi which was delicious I do have to say and the Panang with Brisket. I think it was cool to try but im just stuck in my ways and prefer the ole mom and pop down the road with more options. But its fun for a night out!
