Just popped into this place to get the pre-maid Crispy Krunchy chicken that should be all ready and prepped. It's noon time, and none of their items were out except one basket of bone in fried wings n thighs. Sitting outside the oil. Fine. I'll take it. Except the one and only guy working back there took 25 minutes to make 2 sandwiches as I watched. The only other employee was behind liquor counter, slowly combing his hair, with a huge Concave mirror like he was readying himself for a fashion show. I walked out. I just came in to get a cold beverage. The employee working was very friendly. My ice-cold beverage really hit the spot. They have a deli counter and also sell Crispy Crunchy chicken. I've had the chicken at another location and don't recommend. Anything else would be good. read more

This used to be my spot back in the day because my lady lived down the street. This market is the only one in a few blocks of Mission and Coast Hwy. It's nothing fancy but it's pretty affordable and the customer service is good. My favorite thing to get here was definitely the sandwiches because they were tasty and cheap. This store has just about everything from cereal to smokes. The owner is very cool, easy to speak and is usually working the register. Okay so yes you may run into some homeless people but they're harmless for the most part. read more

Really cool spot. I came by cause I saw their deli was serving boars head. A boars head deli in Oceanside !! My husband & I just moved into town and had to go to the dry cleaner... saw this Deli next door and popped in... we've been back at least a 1/2 dozen times since! Al and his family are very warm and welcoming! Quick Korner is definitely a one-of-a-kind family owned and operated deli (rare in this highly corporate world of commerce and service). The sandwiches are a little pricey but worth every penny! The meats and breads are the highest quality and when they work their sandwich making magic the results are super yummy!!!! Great food aside, it's the service and welcoming environment that makes Quick Korner special! You'll feel like a local... a part of the family... a good family friend as soon as your second visit!
