I've been going to Buggy Bath for about 2 years now, and it's worth driving out of my way to come here. I honestly wish they had a location in Vista! What I love most is that their drive through wash is truly touchless. There are no brushes, just high pressure water, so I don't have to worry about scratches. The wash cycle is nice and long, and my car always comes out looking really clean. After the wash, you pull into one of the finishing bays to dry your car. I bring the microfiber towels I purchased there and go over my car myself. They also have pay to use vacuums that work great and even a towel wringer, which is a thoughtful touch. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, especially the woman with glasses. They also have a store where you can purchase cleaning supplies, air fresheners, microfiber towels, and other car care products. This has become my go to car wash, and I'll happily keep making the drive to come here. read more

Honestly we only bought a couple items here and didn't even use the car wash but the lady who runs this place is so sweet and nice. The facility is really clean and it's conveniently locked right off the road. read more

Great spot to wash your car in Oceanside! They have both self-serve bays and a drive-thru, so you can pick whatever works best. Super easy since they take cash or card. The mini market is a nice bonus too you can grab a drink, snack, or even some cleaning supplies while you're there. Always clean and everything works the way it should. read more

Great self-serve car wash. Good cleaning products. Good water pressure. Have coins ($2) for the vacuums...no cards taken there, otherwise you can be cash-free. Only downside was the poor power of the power-dry apparatus. read more

Personally I think we've started to hand out 5 stars for places that just do the bare minimum and don't mess things up. These folks are incredibly kind, so welcoming. The place is kept up fairly nicely and the customers seem to move along quickly enough to where it's never a long wait. read more

My new favorite car wash place! I used $5 cash for 5 minutes. I didn't realize the soap gun thingy was on the opposite side of the water sprayer. I will use it next time lol the water pressure was good though and cleaned off most of the dirt. Will come back and try again properly read more

Be forewarned I just came back from the Oceanside Buggy Bath self car wash. The only reason I gave it a 1 star is because when I finished and pushed the STOP button on the credit card timer the timer didn't STOP RIGHT AWAY. It kept on going even though I kept pushing the big red stop button. It kept going for a few minutes while I walked to the guy working there and when we got back it had stopped. Was this a fluke or do they have it set to continue charging my card for a few extra minutes. Doesn't seem like a lot of money but a little bit from everyone ober days ,weeks,months to a year that could be a hefty amount of income. This review is for express wash. Disappointing. Tried their brushless express car was ($12). Was in a rush and check the car when getting to work. Car was still very dirty. It would be five stars but it's a bit overpriced. I never can finish my car with $10. Always need a couple extra bucks. Encinitas I can do my whole car with $8. In the hood, I can do my car for $6. Today I left with a soapy car because the mini mart was closed and I only had a $50 bill. Super frustrating! read more

The touchless car wash isn't great I expected more for a $18 wash. I still had dirt on my car and a few spots all around the car that shouldn't really be an issue with a pressure wash. Place is kept up well and isn't a terrible wash my expectations were set pretty high from the reviews but it's not as great as they lead on. read more

I have been a patron of the Buggy Bath for almost a year now! This place is GREAT! The car wash stalls are always much cleaner than other places or gas stations I go to. And the Automatic is REALLY what gets me going. I haven't ever had an automatic wash do such a good job on my car! I keep coming back to this spot for the Wash! Kendra the Manager of the place is literally the sweetest person, always willing to accommodate your needs and offer the fast friendly service that is so lacking elsewhere. Mercedes is always so friendly and efficient and definitely is ready with nice words and a "Have a Great day" whenever I visit the Mini Mart! Just want to give a shout-out to Jonathan. I met him a couple weeks ago. He explained to me that he was now in charge there and the ladies have been relocated when I called to see if they were still open. It was late and I HAD TO GET MY JOLLY RANCHERS. Though it was close to closing time, Jonathan also stated he'd wait till I got there. I forgot I'm over 60 running to the Buggy and had to slow down but I kept calling to let him know I was running and don't close. Johnathan is such a laid back young fellow. I got my Jolly Ranchers and was waiting for the Uber. Jonathan and Paul closed the store up. Jonathan came to me and offered me a ride home but the Uber was already on its way and Jonathan would not leave me there alone. We chatted till the Uber came. This place is the worst car wash EVER !!!!!!!Your lucky if you even get your car completely wet before your $3.00 runs out, and even after spending $8.00 your car will not be washed or rinsed, their soap is watered down they have the fastest seconds known to man and your time runs out while your waiting for the selection you picked kicks in. NO BS this place is a COMPLETE RIPOFF . I knew I should have went to the car wash on COAST HIGHWAY, but of course I was stupid and used this ass nine place again. Trust me DO NOT DO IT, You'll spend a lot of money and be mad when you got to come home and re wash your car like I've had to the last 3 times I've used this place. Went there Thursday morning, started with the pre-wash foam that was slow in coming and was a skinny stream. Ice cold water and hardly any soap coming out of the wash jet, used the scrub brush also but finally drove away after spending over $5 with a car that wasn't clean. read more
